Very nice little hotel in the very center of Limerick. You can reach bars, pubs and all sights by foot. The breakfast is amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful.

I am really not picky on noise, but wtf, what are they doing? The bar downstairs is playing music extremely loud outdoors until late at night. And the worst thing, there was noone enjoying that music? There was excactly one couple sitting outside. No people partying nor dancing, just terrorizing the hotel guest - I don' get it....

Had a good stay here for three nights, it is very convenient to Limerick city centre and the main sights in Limerick. Breakfast was included and was good. There was a selection of cereals, scones, etc and a choice of cooked breakfasts. I had the vegetarian breakfast all three mornings and was able to have gluten free toast with it. My daughter had the Irish breakfast one morning and poached eggs on sourdough bread the other two mornings, which she particularly liked. We ate at the Old Quarter pub next door on our first night and had a good meal, we managed to order just before their cut off time of 6pm.

We found our room very stuffy and airless. We could open the window but it only opened to a small extent. The other negative was that it was quite noisy at night with noise from the pub next door, but to be fair that stopped at 11pm. In the mornings, it was noisy with sounds from a building site.

This is the third time in a year I stayed in this hotel. I like it because it is central, very clean, nicely designed, have all the facilities I need and the staff are always nice and helpful.

Mainly every time I go the lift has some sort of an issue. For this visit I had just a few small bags which was not a problem to use the stairs instead. There was no staff to offer help with luggage given the situation. (Again I was in no need so I would have refused but still no one asked if it's ok to use the stairs. The breakfast system must change as it is always very slow. So if you have a bus to catch, skip breakfast and just go to a cafe near by. Having said this, the hotel has more pros. I am only being honest hoping that this message is seen by management for them to fix.

We were only there for one night, it was quite a last minute booking because we realised we needed to stay in Limerick for a early morning departure the next day to another destination, I also had to do an online meeting that evening and was worried I'd have issues with broadband or WIFI but it worked perfectly which was a big relief! I really liked the décor of the hotel and the bedroom and the bed was large and very comfortable and there was a decent sized big-screen TV. The hotel has a lively and buzzy atmosphere, the reception were friendly and helpful. I also liked the Irish breakfast, it was a little different than other hotels, very tasty, and the service was good. We'll definitely return another time for a stay that isn't so last-minute and rushed.

Even though it's a city centre location it is kind of tucked away from the main streets, so we found it a bit tricky to find, but maybe that's just us! We were aware that it's in an area that's lively, our room was over the bar, so there was music (but not live music, maybe because it was a Sunday night) so there was noise until around 1am which isn't too bad, but I think next time I'd ask for a quieter room (if that's possible) or go mid-week.

The location was fantastic.Right in the city.We had light lunch & drinks when we arrived(group of 6) and the vibe was fantastic.Check in was easy.Staff were lovely.Small mix up with one drink order but we didn't make an issue as we may have confused the girl taking order. We ate at another venue but returned after dinner for more drinks and band was setting up.They were fantastic(Tradstone?I think).Breakfast was lovely.I had The Big Irish. It was too much for me.They have Mini Breakfast too & I would choose that next time.I would return to The Old Quarter Townhouse if I was staying in Limerick again.

The room was very hot.Found it difficult to sleep.Construction work close by meant the chance of a lie in was not possible either but not the Hotels fault. If we had been advised prior to checking we would have purchased ear plugs. We were a group with a 4 month old baby.I assumed that it had a lobby/reception area where we could all gather when we got back from dinner and have a few drinks like most hotels. My cousin with the 4 month old baby had to retire to her room when we got back from dinner as there was nowhere to go only the bar which wouldn't allow a baby in after 9pm(understandably).We felt bad for her.

it was a beautiful hotel with the most amazing staff. My mother is on O2, we arrived (due to travel times) before check in & they worked to get us into a room early. Then we had a mishap with her nebulizer that started smoking & set the smoke alarm off. The staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING during the whole thing and worked to get us set up in a smoke free room for my mother and her breathing. The 2 rooms we were in were both immaculate and perfect rooms. The beds were extremely comfortable and we could barely hear the music from the live band in the connected pub. The breakfast from the cafe inside the hotel was so delicious and the eggs were cooked perfectly. When we return to Limerick we would definitely want to stay in this hotel again (and we promise no smoke alarms.). Thank yous for just an Incredible and most Hospitable start to my mothers first Ireland experience.

The room was lovely nicely decorated. Looks modern and Clean. The hotel was in the town center so perfect location. Also close to the bus station. The staff in the reception very kind and helpful. In the room the was a coffee and tea provided and also still bottled water which was I nice touch. I was very happy with stay and would come back and recommend. L

The hotel is next to a pub where during our stay was a live music. So we could here that in the room but slept well anyway. The hotel is giving information about the noise which is fair I think. If there will be any hook for the towels in the bathroom that would be very helpful. This only small thing I found missing.

The location was excellent for wandering around Limerick as well as for finding dining options. Breakfast was much better than expected and appreciated. The staff was very pleasant and responsive.

Everything about the hotel was fine. We had hoped for free parking, but since that couldn't be, it worked out very well. The first time we walked out of the parking garage we wondered where the hotel would be - and there it was! Right in front of us. The only difficulty in parking was finding the narrow entrance and then managing to get around the corners.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was cozy. Breakfast was great, it exceeded my expectations. The hotel is located in the city center and close to all amenities. The staff was super friendly, especially the girl in the reception (Curly blond hair, speaks a northern dialect).

The elevator only runs to the first floor. Initially, we were given a room on the 2nd floor, and due to health reasons, I had to speak to the receptionist about this (she was super helpful, changed our room, and sorted everything out).

very central. near to everything

nothing bad with the property or the facilities. the hotel did warn us about the pub next door, which was all closed by 12.30. however, there seemed to be very little control over rowdy guests. for example - people shouting at each other in the corridors, a person banging on our door at 1.30. Also a full blown argument from a couple at 5.30 in the morning. We appreciate that the behaviour of other guests is not always at the control of the hotel, but there seemed to be little effort at trying to control their behaviour especially as there were families also staying at the hotel.
