B&B Opera Prima

Centrally located in the historic part of town. Most major attractions within walking distance. Room and overall facilities were clean. Staff were friendly and responsive. Room met my minimal needs. Shower pressure strong. Air condition worked great. In-shower body gel.

Breakfast was not included in rate (8€), negotiating stairs just to reach the elevator, no complimentary water, tiny mini-fridge, skylights only in room/no view, slow 1 -2 person max elevator without luggage. Have to keep pressing the elevator to go up or down or else it suddenly stopped. Elevator broke down @ checkout (possibly storm weather related the night before). Multiple keys to open front door, corridor and private room doors. No English speaking TV stations. 10 am checkout. Paper thin sheets. Pillows didn’t provide much support. Mine was a two night stay so these issues were not desk breakers individually but had my stay been a week or more, maybe more concerning. Limited toiletries.

The accommodation is in a superb location we couldn't of asked for better. It is literally a minutes walk away from the Arena, Piazza Bra and the main shopping strip. Our room was very spacious with the bonus of air conditioning which we took advantage of. There is a lift which our tired legs appreciated after walking the beautiful streets of Verona. The host Jessica is a warm friendly person and we enjoyed our chats with her. The continental breakfast was of a good standard with plenty of choice. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this accommodation if we return to Verona.

I loved everything about B&B Opera Prima!!! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the host Antonella who was very friendly and recommended excellent local places to eat and sights to see. The room was beautiful!! Very large and very clean and neatly presented…Sure, the wifi isn’t the best but that’s expected when you are staying in a building from the 13th century, this wasn’t an issue as I was out exploring the beautiful city of Verona. The room was warm and cosy and the kettle and complementary tea and coffee was great. Excellent bathroom with toiletries and hot shower. The location is excellent, 20mins walk from Porto Nuova station and no more than 20mins walk from all the main places of interest in Verona. Thank you for a lovely stay….I will definitely return when next in Verona.

nothing to dislike, this property is amazing!

Location location location .. right behind the main shopping area and the arena. The unit was big and with seperate lounge area plus table and chairs - there was a small kitchen but it wasn’t for use, however the bar fridge was excellent with free aqua and nice and cold.

Worst thing was the wifi. If we didn’t sit by the door it didn’t connect. Each time it dropped out we had to select other and type in all info to get it back. Dreadful. It was also very noisey even with the double glazing. I would ask for a room away from the street below. But we turned the air conditioner on and that drowned out the noise.

Great, central location - easy access to various tourist attractions. Lovely room with plenty of space for us as a couple. Antonella and her team were friendly and helpful. The cafe around the corner which provides the breakfast offered a tasty selection and great value for money. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again when we come back to Verona!

N/A - we had a lovely stay

The staff is really helpful and the place super cute and clean. It is in the city center very close to everything you need. Love absolutely everything about the place. For the breakfast you have to leave the hotel for a 5 minute walk and the options are very limited (meat sandwiches or butter croisants, coffee, water and juice). For me as a vegan and alergic to dairy was not suitable. But other than that the place is amazing.

Great central location very close to Verona arena. Large room with private bathroom and mini fridge stocked with bottles of water. Staff at check-in were very kind and welcoming and gave us recommendations on what to see and do as we only had one day to explore.

Only negative may be the very small (could only fit one suitcase and one person in) and slow lift if you are not able to walk up all the stairs to get to the fourth floor of building

Great location and even though in the main centre it isn’t horsey at all due to the great insulation. Perfect for getting into the main heart of Verona.

Pillows and bed are a little hard. Would be nice to have a nesspro machine and advertised as H&B but it’s actually just an apartment only.

The host was so lovely. The breakfast in the morning was great and specifically went out to get me vegan pastries - hugely appreciated (especially after the wine festival!!) The location was also amazing - on one of the main streets right off the central arena area and around the corner from the main shopping street.

Really spacious, right in the heart of Verona. Very comfortable bed and really good bathroom. Breakfast was good. So central we could sneak back during the day. Nice and cool inside when it was very hot outside.

It was all great.
