Diaz 18

We absolutely loved our stay at Diaz 18. The flat exceeded our expectations in every sense. The check-in couldn't be easier. We are especially grateful to Klaudia for being so helpful and accommodating. The location is wonderful - just a few steps from Porta Borsari and an easy walk from Arena di Verona and Piazza delle Erbe. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine. Breakfast vouchers for a cafe nearby were provided. The flat was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fully equipped with toiletries, hairdryer, etc. There was a coffee machine in the room. Everything in the flat was designed to make one's stay more comfortable. We were really impressed with many lovely, thoughtful touches such as the book about local trattorias, bars and restaurants, another beautifully illustrated book about local cuisine, a lot of information about the sights of Verona, a selection of maps, bus timetables for day trips from Verona, a small fridge for wine and water, and so on. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer. Many thanks to Raffaele for our enjoyable and comfortable stay!

The hosts Raffaele and his wife Francesca are incredible. They contact you upfront to make sure they will be at the apartment when you arrive. Moreover, they are very helpful and flexible. The locationm is downright perfect, right next to the Porta Borsari, one of the entrances to the old city center. The apartment itself is an excellent mix of authentic with modern touches. I have stayed here twice now and look forward to many more to come. Thanks and keep up the great hospitality, Raffaele and Francesca!

There is nothing I can think of.

The apartment is really beautiful and very spacious. We loved all the finishing touches. Location is also amazing, couldn’t ask for better. Nearby underground parking is a big bonus in this busy town. The owner is very friendly and you can tell that he cares about his guests and strives to deliver everything you need for your stay in Verona. If we ever visit Verona again, we will definitely stay at Diaz 18.

The property was in an excellent location. The property was clean, smelled great and had all the necessary amenities plus more. The owner was also very accommodating and welcoming. He went above and beyond to make our one night in Verona special by getting my fiancé a cake, candle and bottle of Prosecco for his birthday.

The property was amazing! The blow dryer however might need to be changed, it burned a bit of my hair.

Very large, clean and comfortable apartment in an excellent location. You can walk everywhere. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The breakfast which is offered at the cafe downstairs is lovely and a great initiative from the host. I would recommend this apartment for a stay in Verona. Thank you Raffaele and Klaudia!

The only thing I didn't like is that not a lot of daylight comes into the apartment due to the windows being low, but this was no problem because we were out all day.

Beautifully decorated and clean. Comfortable bed and great facilities. Location was perfect. The host was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble, even after our flight was delayed until the early hours of the morning. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Nothing, just wish we stayed for longer

Great, comfortable and clean apartment. Short walk from the attractions of Verona, all the shops, cafes and restaurants. Raffaele was great and very attentive host. Parking house is located just across the bridge (price 20 EUR/24 h). The breakfast is served at a cafe downstairs, great selection of sandwiches and pastries. There is also coffee machine in the apartment.

. Fabulous big two room apartment. Clean and comfortable lovely ambiance. Tastefully furnished. 10 minutes walk to historic centre.

Unfortunately the apartment is over a cafe/restaurant which was noisy late at night and opened early morning with music playing. We had very little sleep. Such a pity for a fantastic apartment.

Great central location in Verona with an overnight parking garage close at hand. Lovely big spacious apartment with good facilities. The host was friendly, welcoming and helpful

Our only issue was the wifi which was patchy and, at times, just not accessible

The location was second to none - within a few mins of all major sights Host was wonderful and friendly

Breakfast was nice - across the road in cafe - however staff in cafe were rude and uninformative. These people let the overall experience down but I don’t blame that on the hist Raffael who was excellent
