Hotel Xbalamqué & Spa Cancún Centro

I love the location and the Hotel is beautiful full of culture and the art is amazing every where inside and out. I also enjoyed the restaurants, spa, theater and coffee shop that are in the building. The front desk employees were very helpful and nice. Housekeeping was very nice too. I was able to walk to the convenience store and to the Mercado's. I also enjoyed the ADO public transit which was 3 blocks away. I felt safe at all times and I plan on coming back to stay again. Thank you the price was awesome 👍

It was a little moldy and could have been kept up some.

This hotel and staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The hotel is beautiful and pictures just don’t do it justice. Definitely highly recommend!

The restaurant is overpriced. I ordered the chicken tacos and they didn’t even give me any hot sauce. I had re request a chopped up habanero to help give it a kick The cafe didn’t seem to have much to offer. The food was mediocre. However, they didn’t even have creamer for the coffee and didn’t provide any tortillas for the eggs until we asked. They were friendly, just wasn’t what I would expect for the elegant ambiance. For a short walk around the hotel we ate at many of the taquerias that had exceptional food for way less and they give you much more in proportion.

we spend an afternoon and a night, had a breakfast in the morning, before leaving Mexico via Cancun airport. location is great for this purpose, short walk from ADO station. rooms are quite spacious, kids were impressed with the 'decor' of the place and enjoyed the pool very much. the staff was nice and efficient. breakfast in the hotel cafe was good and inexpensive (85 pesos for scrambled eggs with ham+american pancakes).

it could be way nicer with some maintenance.. there is no lightning in the shower/toilet part of the bathroom, there was no toilet paper when we got there, no glass for toothbrushes. wifi only in common areas, not in rooms.

For the location the price was very good. Not expensive. I travel with a teen and 11 year old My kids loved the pool, it has 2 restaurants inside and one outside, right outside at the corner they have a hair salon I didn't checked prices. That bathroom has a good size. They have ac. The beds were ok. Good size. Clean and comfortable. If you just want a place to sleep and don't want to spend much this is a good place with extras pool,restaurants,hair salon,tour desk. Pretty good has a theme of Mayas .this hotel is good for a few nights since it doesn't have fridge were to store your drinks I stayed there 2 nights only so if you are not staying that long this is a good hotel. The people were nice and friendly they helped me to open✂️ some water equipment for my son also on the last day i want to wash my dirty clothes, they dont have washer on site they do have a laundry like 1 block away really close but i wanted to self wash it so i had to take a taxi to a laundry . But overall i really enjoyed been there . For the price! the only thing is that water in shower wasn't that hot. We stayed dic 13-15 We didn't care since it wasn't that cold anyways and cancun is hot ..that water was ok for us it was refreshing but if you are used to really hot water like sauna you won't get it here. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Is not that I didn't like it. I didn't really need it but if it had 1 hair dryer and small fridge to keep our drinks will make it much better. Also they don't have laundry service there. :( I had to take a taxi so If they had some washers on site. That will.be a plus

The staff was very helpful, the decor was cool and beds comfy. Location was fairly close to ADO station (10 to 15 min walk) and close to the nightly fair they have too in the grandstand area. The pool was lovely btw!

Our room was not cleaned before arriving(it was in the process-this seems to be happing at most hotels we go to lately). They then moved us to a fresh one and the next room had a balcony off it with rather large group of people sitting right outside of it drinking. At 10 pm staff came and had them disapate. So yes we did have to small issues but both times the staff delt quickly with it with out even being asked.

Good place to stay if you have an early morning flight or need ADO bus to go next day. Good mattress and bed, water pressure is good. Located close to Las Palapas to grab food to eat. R1 Bus to hotel zone

The room was huge! It was very comfortable and clean. I loved the location in the downtown and being close to the bus station, it made easy to move around the city. Also the decors inside the hotel are really lovely. They have a restaurant and a cafe on site and I had breakfast at the cafè many times: great! Staff is also really nice and helpful.

The room we had was a bit noisy at night.

Location is perfect in the very center, close to the bus stop to Zona Hotelera; the room is big and full of light with a very nice design; the staff provides perfect service, they are helpful, polite, always smiling and ready to fulfill any request

The sound insulation of the room might be better, you hear everything that's going on outside the room. If you are with children mind that there's loud music on weekends, but anyway that doesn't spoil our holiday.

For the price we paid, the hotel was exactly what we were expecting. The room was very simple, with the bare minimum amenities a hotel should have. But the common areas almost felt like a museum! We loved walking around the hallways to see the statues and the paintings. Very original concept! The location, near the train station, was perfect for our needs.

The spa was unfortunately closed, which is understandable with the current sanitary measures in the region, but no mention was made of it on the hotel's website. Another thing is that you were supposed to give your room key back every time you went outside of the hotel to avoid losing them, which I thought was very weird.

The room was spacious and clean

The shower was awful it sprayed everywhere and wet your hair even if you didn’t wan to. The taps in the sink were so close from the border of the sink it was impossible to wash your hands unless you totally soak the whole work top and all what was on it. I was told at reception to take a bus n.1 I waited for ages it was in fact number 2. At least they should know the basic way to go around cancun.
