Hotel Maria de Lourdes

When I first arrived I was somewhat disappointed because it looked bigger and "fancier" online. When I arrived and the longer I stayed the more I liked the location. Central to everything! It is especially great for traveling with family. The pool is shallow but I don't swim much anyway. A great place. A great location. The staff was very on top of the cleaning. Not overly friendly and that's okay. They tended to my needs as I requested. I ended up knowing that when I travel again to Cancun, I will likely stay in the same hotel.

Honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like. Maybe it's me adapting or maybe it was just enough.

THE BREAKFAST WAS WELL PREPARED. THEY COULD OFFER SOMETHING DIFFERENT EVERYDAY BUT I GOT THE SOMETHING EVERYDAY. I WOULD OF LIKE TO AT LEAST BEEN OFFER MORE THAN 1 CUP OF TEA. THE TOAST WAS VERY GOOD AND HAD REAL BUTTER AND NICE STRAWBERRY JAM. THE WAITER WAS GOOD THE COOK WAS THE BEST. ROOM CLEANER WERE GOOD TOO, OVERALL FOR THE MONEY IT WAS GOOD

I SAID IN PREVIOUS NOTE WHAT I FOUND WRONG . I WAS THE ONLY AMERICAN THERE . WISH THERE WERE MORE BILINGLE. THEY MAY OF UNDERSTOOD WHAT I SAID BUT DID NOT SHOW THAT

The best of the place is the staff, they were so helpful. They help us in all our requests, and solve all our questions. Also, the breakfast it was amazing.

The windows in the room weren't so good, so you could listen the traffic for the street. But we were in the second floor, so we slept really good.

The location is good it is on a main street. The parking is big. The shower was okay, cold and hot water worked okay. All was clean, even they were painting the entire hotel.

There isn't restaurants near to the hotel. However the hotel has restaurant but I think the prices are expensive.

Unlike the overpriced beach hotels further up the coast, this little hotel in downtown Cancun has an authentic feel of old Mexico. Very cheap, excellent $5 dollar breakfasts, nice swimming pool in the courtyard, and lots of interest nearby, what's not to like?

breakfast choice limited choice and NO buffet to could not order more to eat if requested- only toast or tea could be re-ordered No tea -coffee making facilities in the bedrooms refused to refill water bottles- insisted on you buying each time from the drinks vending machine location- easy to get to airport bus station male receptionist was helpful and accommodating lady receptionist unhelpful and miserable pool was cold highly recommend local restaurant La Parrmilla

Not much.

There was no airport shuttle (the only filter I used when I searched on Booking.com), there were bugs in the room, no extra pillows, extra beds and it was really loud at night. It was also really expensive.
