Rooms: Stayed in the superior king room, the bedroom was good, although it was surprisingly noisy around at night. The bathroom was clean and fine. Rooms were cleaned well each day. TV had sports channels showing European football and the minibar food snacks were a fair price. Location: 5 mins drive into Puerto Iguazu, 15 mins to the entrance of the National Park. Makes it a decent location. Front desk: Helpful in sorting things out for you and answering questions. Can book taxis for you to visit the falls, or to cross the border into Brazil, either to see that side or to go to the airport. Prices about 15-20 USD for a taxi to the Brazilian airport, same to the Argentine falls, or 30-35 USD to the Brazilian falls.

Breakfast: Main disappointment here, limited amount of hot food which wasn't too tasty. Fruit and pastries in abundance but lacking in proper hot breakfast options. Pool: Icy cold, didn't see anyone using it. Jacuzzi is mildly warm and comfortable, although not kept very clean with all the trees around.

Everything regarding Mercure Iguazu Hotel Iru was amazing. The entirely staff was always helpful, with a great smile and ready to help. Front desk and buffet staff always with a great attitude and smiling. Special Thanks and recognition to Ervin Foerster.. He was our designated driver. What a great personality and so easy going. He’s mind is well set to treat clients the way clients should always treated. Very respectful, professional, alway o time. Impressive!!

Honestly, there is nothing about the property that we didn’t like. Everything and everyone was amazing. I was really impressed

A great place to stay in Iguazu. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the park by cab. Rooms are very spacious, great view of the pool, room had mosquito netting which is very important in those parts. The staff are really friendly, they helped us to find drivers who was with for all our vacation.

We had difficulty setting up the hot water in the shower. Also, in a hotel of this caliber, it seems like extra water should be free, especially when you are traveling with an infant. We were sold the water for 1100 ARS per bottle

Food in general was great , breakfast had so much variety it was just great, all of the installations where very clean and the staff was super friendly and attentive everything was exceptional.

the outdoor pool was a bit too cold to go into in this time of the year I would suggest heating it up just a little bit it was literally like swimming in ice water. Our room AC was not working correctly.

great property with a lot of amenities. good spa but felt a bit rushed. decent breakfast and they have drivers on-site to take you around. rooms felt modern with good amenities

I wish the beds were slightly bigger m we also had a room near the staff rooms and storage areas. it didn’t feel that nice as we could hear them. I wouldn’t recommend those. they were also quite stuffy due to humidity so maybe they should use more perfume or dehumidifier in the rooms.

The hotel is nicely designed, it feels like you are right next to, if not in, the jungle. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room, which included a spa bath and shower with a rain shower head, was very spacious with a fair amount of storage and with a large and comfortable bed. The pool was great to cool off from the hot day with a pool bar right next to it. The breakfast was decent but not amazing. The hotel organised a taxi for us to be picked up from the airport, the driver was very helpful and he ended up driving us around the entire time we were there. The taxis organised by the hotel have fixed rates for travelling to/from the airport and to the Argentinian and Brazilian national parks. As we had a bit of extra time on our last day, we did a free guided walk organised by the hotel (the guide spoke mostly Spanish and a little bit of English) which was very interesting, telling us about the plants/animals/insects in the jungle and the indigenous populations that live across the road.

As the hotel is in the jungle, it is not in the Puerto Iguazu town, therefore we ate at the hotel restaurant (which was fine, expensive by Argentinian standards but normal by European ones). If you want to go into town, you have to get a taxi, it is not a short walk.

Beautiful hotel with stunning amenities. You get the feeling that you're actually entering a forest and staying there. Had a room with a view of the pool which was quite airy and spacious. The place just seems to exude peace and calm. Cleanliness is clearly taken seriously here. The hotel breakfast is also quite notable. The restaurant figures in TripAdvisor, though I found the steaks that I ordered a tad tough. Great facilities. Wasn't able to try the spa, but it's apparently also among the hotel's highlight.

Front desk service could be better. I got the feeling that some of them didn't want to be there. Thankfully, the others were very helpul.

We loved the hotel location - jungle feel. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. The hotel restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The hotel staff was so good at organizing our taxis for day trip to Brazil, into town and the airport. We would definitely stay here again.

A very pleasant experience, the staff, the hotel, the food, the internet, everything was exceptional. The pool and the bar as well, even the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely come back

Only one thing didn't work and it was secondary anyway. It was my girlfriend's birthday and I had called for a cake in the room when we arrive, I asked them for it a week, two days, and one day before arrival but it wasn't there. I re-asked for it later during the day and still didn't receive it. I asked for it a 3rd time in the night until I received it. It was a free cake anyway so I wasn't bothered at all, the advantages over weighed this incidence by a huge margin.

Our room was surrounded by jungle, just lovely! The pool area was fabulous. Breakfast was a veritable feast of eggs, breads, fruit, yogurt, etc.

Service in the restaurant and at the pool was very slow. Ordered a quick ice cream at the pool - it took about 30 minutes!!
