Love the location, the pool, Lulu's and FInns and the staff.

The muddiness around the pool, decking and spa. Some simple fixes could drastically improve this. 1. Install more stone steps and ensure they are more elevated. The stone between the pool and spa is too low and become a puddle. If it was higher, the deck and spa would stay a lot cleaner I reckon. 2. More towels. We were 3 guests (2 adults and a toddler, yet only had 2 towels in the room) 3. Improve soundproofing of the rooms. Excited / noisy kids impacted our sleep on both nights.

Reception Staff, Cleaners, Restaurant Staff all helpful, polite and eager to please. Rooms overlooking the premises and pool were a delight. Dog friendly was an added bonus. The Restaurant New Years Eve Canapie and Wine Menu was a treat and very cost effective even though my husband doesn't drink alcohol. The only thing I would suggest for those of us that still need to work during holiday breaks was either a desk and chair in the room and/or a dedicated space somewhere to work from. Highly recommend The Lodge to anyone wishing to enjoy tranquillity, access to many facilities and close to beaches and restaurants.

Perhaps more bins around the place to place the doggy waste into.

We LOVED The Lodge! The grounds are fantastic! Beautiful surroundings and so much to do with kids. (Would have loved the pool to be heated though as it’s freezing so kids can’t last too long!) We had a great experience at Lulus restaurant too and highly recommend eating there and trying their delicious cocktails!

So unfortunate there are some negative reviews about the rooms before talking to staff or taking the complaints to reception. If you had your know The Lodge is in the stages of being renovated with rooms being last on the list. We too had a few complaints with our room too but when we spoke to reception they were so accommodating and helpful and resolved any issues they could. The customer service was fantastic!

This lodge is really designed for a Wedding Venue, and we were there during the week so it was really empty. We wanted to stay in the Rainforest and this certainly met that criteria. We were able to visit a few National Parks nearby which made this place very convenient. Lots of hiking and Free bikes were at The Lodge itself as the property is expansive. Great staff and the food was very good! It was very quite which was wonderful at night to hear the wildlife with the windows open.

The room was very large, but for some reason it didn't have a table, desk or dresser. It had 1 chair. Most of our items had to be on the floor as did the coffee pot in the morning when I made coffee. A nice touch was the Breakfast basket I had delivered to the room at 8:00am. (small extra charge). The resort had a nice pool and a Wooden Hot tub.... (I took advantage of the Hot tub.)

Super location and facilities. Loved that all the rooms overlooked the pool. The decor was awesome throughout all the parts of the Lodge. Very friendly staff across the board. Great grounds, really just wish we had more than one day (but thats on us).

A couple of issues with the Restaurant whereby we tried to change our booking due to weather looking a bit inclement and being told initially it wouldnt be possible to change to inside. After asking again they said they could squeeze us in but restaurant was full. When we got there, it was very empty. We asked to move outside as the air con was blasting and terrace was also not busy. Food was great but our dessert came after more than an hour and we had to go enquire about it, think it was just missed. We were offered by staff if we wanted something else for free but I think these shoudl have just been comped. It didnt ruin our experience but given we were inhouse guests, Id suggest not telling people they are booked out only to turn up to a very empty restaurant.

The Lodge far exceeded our expectations! The art deco vibe is fab, with amazing spaces like the river room, and the games room available for guests, along with tennis and basketball, bikes for use and more! Our room was comfortable and well appointed. Loved the generous pool and way the manicured outdoors lit up a night. Magical. Standout surprise was the quality of the food and drinks! Will 100% come back.

Our only complaint would be the damp smell in the spare blankets that permeated the room. Very small thing and didnt bother us.

The facilities included pool, spa, sauna, games room and gym. We loved everything and it kept the kids happy and entertained.

We loved everything, only small issue would be that it was public holidays so we understood there was less staff available, although we would have liked to be able to empty our room rubbish bins and somewhere to put our dirty towels.

The Lodge is SO cute both day and night with lots of different areas to walk around and explore. We received complimentary marshmallows which we could toast in the outdoors fireplace at night and it was a beautiful vibe with fairy lights everywhere. It's very child friendly which was handy as we were travelling with a young baby. The restaurant is gorgeous and very quirkily decorated and again very family friendly and the food was delicious. All the staff were great. There was a free yoga class one morning which was such a good way to start the day. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and they even provided a portacot. Only a 20min drive from Kiama so great location. Overall we loved it and highly recommend!

Floor in bedroom was a bit dirty, there were some stains which looked like hadn't been cleaned properly. The hot water in the shower wasn't very hot - we turned on the hot water only and that was just warm enough without any cold water.

What a great little getaway. The staff, especially the groundsmen were so nice and friendly. The pool and facilities around the place were excellent. Not alot of reception which was great to actually switch off and relax. Lots to explore without leaving the property. Poolside food was great. Would def stay again.

They were upgrading some grass spots and there was patchy soil areas we had to pass to get to our room which meant the room would get messy from our shoes and feet but not a big deal would be fixed when the grass grows. A few thing I suggest is maybe a table and chairs inside the family rooms to feed kids snacks instead of the beds and something to hang wet towels and cozzies on. Otherwise great stay.

The ambience is unique, charming and full of character! The gardens are beautiful and the atmosphere takes you to the Hamptons!! Large pool, outdoor hot tub, gym, sauna and games room - what more does a family or couple need?! Exceptional location in the rolling green landscape.

Lost one point for the food. It is average but everything else makes up for it.
