I like it that the rooms were clean and bathroom was clean.

No bedroom slippers provided in-room ( not everyone would like to walk around barefoot). I have to go downstairs to get it from reception. No toothpastes and toothbrushes provided as well ( Reception staff brought it upstairs). Again, those are just basic needs that MUST BE easily accessible by the hotel guests. Please be mindful that guests that stayed in every hotel came from their looonnnggg and tiring journey. A complimentaey welcome drink would be nice ( a glass of wine or orange juice) and free bottle of water) for each guest provided would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Our expectations were just blown away. We really liked our superior room for our family. With the kitchenette and bath it was really kid friendly to do baby bottles and bathe the kids. It was clean and even though the train actually passed our window we didn’t even notice! On demand movies was a nice surprise and really handy with the kids and all the foxtek channels. The daily housekeeping was great too. The lifts were fast, service at the counter great, location excellent as could walk everywhere. Car park no dramas too.

The only thing which was our mistake really, we didn’t put the sign out for housekeeping on one of the mornings so it wasn’t done when we were out for breakfast, then when we went out later I put the sign out but it didn’t get done that day. Not the end of the world though. Maybe if buffet breakfast was open until 10am we would have been able to have a try as tricky getting kids organised.

It's a decent sized room, and the staff are lovely. Free parking is excellent with a lift direct to the carpark. I liked the cute wooden electronic room keys and the room has pretty good soundproofing from the road. The huge fig trees provide a lovely outlook. Great location.

At the end of the day, it's just a hotel room. Like most other hotel rooms we've encountered you can still find mould in the bathroom, a questionable tiling job and only a small amount of shelving for your toiletries. A corner lamp would improve the room's ambience.

Room looked a bit ‘tired’ but it was very comfortable and the bed was great! A ‘grab bar’ in the shower area over the bath would have been good. It was great having such a good range of options on the TV. Great having plenty of milk in the bar fridge.

More power points would be good in every hotel room in this day of technology . Need a grab bar in shower over the bath. Needed to have camomile tea in the tea options

The location was fantastic. The hotel was clean & the rooms well appointed. The staff were friendly & helpful. Most of all, I was pleased to find a hotel that offered a family room that had two single beds (as my kids no longer want to have to share a bed together). If there was an option to have an interconnecting room, that would have been even better.

Ideally we would have loved it if the hotel had a swimming pool.

Like how it was close to everything and lovely views of the Bay and Ocean. The staff were very helpful and happy to help.

I think you need ceiling fans to get air circulating at night as some people don't like sleeping with air con on. Also you need a shelf near the hand basin in the bathroom for make up, deoderant etc as there isn't enough room on the side of the basin as everything falls in. Last thing you need more than one small bottle of water in the fridge as least 2 bottles per person each per day.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, well-appointed kitchenette. Front desk staff were excellent. Didn't really have much involvement with anyone else, though cleaning staff were courteous when passing in the hallways.

Bathrooms really some maintenance/upgrades. All tapware/drain grates need to be changed out. The grouting on the tiles in the shower stall and bathroom very dirty, needs to be cleaned or redone. The inclination in the shower stall sees the water run down and pool at the other end, and eventually onto the floor. The opening into the shower stall is too wide, it allows more water than necessary to get onto the bathroom floor. On occasions there was a distinct bad smell coming from the drain in the shower stall.

The room was a great size. Breakfast was amazing, lots of variety available.

everything was great except...having to pay lots more because it was peak time for the room. Also the fridge was very small. A slightly bigger one with freezer compartment to set ice would have been great. There was no coffee machine, Most accommodation places now have a Nespresso coffee maker. No one drinks instant coffee any more. A coffee machine would have made it an exceptional stay.

The staff at the restaurant went out of their way to help us. We asked for a mocktail and one was created for us. We asked to be relocated to a quieter table and we were instantly relocated to a much quieter area. The view from the dining room was amazing especially in the morning eating our excellent breakfast Underground parking near the reception was an unexpected bonus especially with the rain and winds about

Great location. Room was huge. King sized bed was very comfortable. View of Kiama. Railway runs right past hotel but it isn't very busy and windows are double glazed which cuts noise to a whisper. In fact I enjoyed watching various trains going by. Breakfast room overlooks harbour. 5 minute walk to Hungry Monkey cafe which does great food. 5 minute walk the other way takes you to Penny Whistlers cafe with outlook over harbour (book).

Two minor gripes with bathroom. Ventilation is very slow and sluggish. This is a feature of a lot of modern hotels but some work better than others. Also in bathroom, it was very spacious but hardly anywhere to put razors, toothbrushes etc. I left a note with reception about this. The move towards minimalist design seems to have gone a bit too far.
