Kiama Motel 617

Clean room, clean bedding, comfortable bed, good air conditioning and everything actually worked. I really loved the shower, the water pressure and temperature was just perfect and so relaxing. I definitely would recommend this place.

Extra rolls of toilet paper would have been good, also a proper dishwashing sponge would have been better than a piece of cloth to wash the dishes. I would also recommend that for the milk options they should also offer plant based to cater for others who do not consume dairy.

Well lit, cosy looking room with plenty of power outlets and a decent sized TV. The room was also very clean and secure - an extra sense of security was achieved by their use of a door chain. The staff were also very friendly up on gaining our keys as well as returning them. The location of the Motel meant that it was far enough away from the busy parts of town, but close enough to get to them via a quick, 2 minute car ride.

The pillows were very uncomfortable (firm). I felt like I'd woken up on a cement slab and my ear had been pancaked. Also, the shower head (or lack there of) left a lot to be desired. Having a small, jail like spout, protruding from the wall and drizzling tiny jets of water, made for a very uncomfortable experience. Especially if you couple the tiny shower with a cold winters night, it really didn't cut it.

It was very clean, quiet and comfortable, reliable help from reception due to late check in, facilities included everything you could hope for and it was all in good condition and worked well, the shower was great, the bed comfortable, peace of mind in terms of security, windows had nice privacy with appropriate blinds, one window opened if necessary for fresh air, soaps etc were fixed so environmentally friendly with no waste, even the shower fan was strong so there was next to no steam residue on the mirror, tasteful room decor, overall it was impressive.

Very clean & comfortable room. Loved the big coffee mugs & crockery/cutlery that were supplied. Bathroom looked to have been renovated & shower was great with nice fluffy towels. Fairly quiet considering the motel was quite busy & on a busy road. Staff very friendly & accommodating.

Just a bit pokey. But was OK for us as we were only there overnight.

Lovely greeting upon arrival! Modern refurbished interior and very clean. Being on the second floor - great district views. Central location. Brochures on tourist attractions. 2 aircons and 3 TVs made it very comfortable and entertaining. Cosy furniture - material and velvet coverings on lounge/chairs

Could have had a few biscuits in the kitchen. Too many towels/face washers..placed untouched ones in cupboard - save washing.

Location was good for a walk into town. Communication to arrange keys for room was efficient. Allocation of a ground floor room appreciated when request for a good spot to keep an eye on our classic car.

The cleaning of the floor behind the bathroom door needed improvement. Not a lot of space once bags inside the room. No particular allocated car spaces. Felt we had to leave our car and not move it.

The property has obviously undergone a recent refurbishment and it looks great. Loved the neutral tones, large shower rose, great water pressure and free onsite parking. Bed was very comfortable. While on a main road, it was very quiet in the room and no pesky street lights coming through due to the block out curtains. The lady at reception was very welcoming.

I booked the Executive room but it was very small. Hardly any room around the bed. OK for me but would have been a squeeze if I'd been travelling with someone. Also, I couldn't watch Netflix or Prime as the internet wasn't working in my room. Either it was too weak wifi (I guess everyone was trying to access it all at once) or it wasn't connected. Oh well, first world problems! I also felt it was a bit overpriced for such a small town but I guess it's supply and demand.

Very clean room, quiet location, free parking and comfy bed.

The shower head could do with an upgrade, low pressure. I had called ahead to say we would be checking in late and I was told I would be notified of late check in process, however this didn’t happen. Had to call the out of hours number when we arrived to gain access to the property.

The motel had everything we needed. Susan at reception was lovely and was only to happy to help. The room had been refurbished and was beautiful. The kitchenette had everything needed and the bathroom was clean and airy. We got more than we had hoped for. The price was great and our room was serviced daily. I did read in the room that they are not serviced on the weekends. Free and fast wifi. Parked straight outside our rom +++

If I had to complain about something it would be the pillows they were too hard 🤪

Good location for visiting with friends. Clean, comfortable bed. Recently renovated. Water in the fridge was a nice touch.

We stayed 2 nights, one night was noisy because of a couple of neighbours arguing loudly and swearing late at night and early morning. Nobody seemed to be onsite to contact. If you have trouble with stairs ask for a downstairs room.
