Location was fantastic & staff were great too!

Two things that I would suggest being looked into in regards to the rooms. One being putting in a proper wardrobe with a rail, 3 hooks to for hanging is definitely not sufficient especially for a stay longer than 1 night. I also didn’t like that it was open which made it look more cluttered as you enter through the door. I would also suggest putting in an hand held shower not just for obvious reasons but for any health or physical needs. My husband had a central picc line in his chest for health reasons & had to avoid getting it wet, this made it very difficult to shower.

The checkin process was quick and efficient. We had a standard room which was minimalist and well designed, with lots of surface space and natural light. The bathroom had heaps of space for organising our toiletries. Location was excellent - just a short walk to the main street. The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, as was the food truck manager. We didn't have time to use the pool though it looked lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

It would have been nice to have a box of tissues in the main room.

Location was excellent, easy to walk to shops, clubs and foreshore, etc. Secure underground parking was very good, and key card entry to hotel room, lift and car park was excellent. New hotel so all was very modern and streamlined. Very good shower with big rainhead. Very good range of teas available in room, as well as nice coffee

Shower tended to splash over bathroom floor, lighting over hand basin was mor mood lighting rather than being effective for make-up, shaving etc. Also mirror steamed up even with exhaust fan on.

The property was close to the centre and was very walkable to the shops. The room was clean and well lit. The bathroom was fairly new and the bed was comfortable.

There was no fly screen for the balcony door, so if we wanted fresh air, the mozzies could also come in and feast. It would be great (not a must) if there was a hangar closest so you can hang your clothes. A hairdryer would have been a nice addition (for the ladies). The shower screen can be a bit longer, as the water splashing from the head, leaks into the main bathroom area.

Very clean and fresh feeling property. Great view and really nicely located near the beach, blowhole and town - ticked all of those boxes very well. Staff were great and the combi-cafe downstairs was both cool and tasty!

Pool had a broken heater and the weather wasn't warm yet so swimming was out for our child - understand it happens but timing sucks. No lamps in the room meant bright downlights (even the dimmable ones are still bright - and ours flickered when dimmed) or darkness - a bit frustrating for the adults at night.

The location was great. Walking distance to Main Street. The hotel is linked to the pub next door and the food was amazing.

Minor - very minor CONS. The bin in our bathroom was not emptied from the previous guest. (We just looked past this) There were a few bugs in the room, we killed about 6. The room service menu was not fully functional. There was only one main on the menu and some starters. I did tell the lady at reception who told me that I was able to call through my order and they would still deliver room service- which they did. The food was worth the hassle in the end.

Location to town, coffee combi downstairs. Parking off street, clean bed/sheets, balcony (fresh air), great shower!

The fridge was leaking, but the receptionist sorted it out for us. The air conditioner was loud and clunky and was a little difficult to use. The toilet required 3 to 4 flushes to get everything down - really bad! The TV was very slow, worked well when it got going, but felt a bit cheap.

Nova is a Scandi style hotel/motel room. Clean, crisp and minimal. This starts with the reception area, just a simple desk, but it works. The room we booked (Oceanview) was a comfortable size and there was a Ocean glimpse, but we could hear the sea during the night. The AC worked well and not noisy. The Bed was Queen and comfortable, a good pillow choice was available. The bathroom was compact but worked well and the water was hot and plentiful. There was a kitchenette (hotplate + MWave+ sink) which served the purpose and there was crockery, cutlery and utensils. Mugs rather than small cups was also appreciated. One issue we had was there was only one stool, so the 2nd person had to sit on the bed. We did get another stool, and an ironing board so all good. Nova Kiama was a nice break and the room was clean and comfortable, just what was needed.

I understand the Scandi minimalist, but if two people book, have two stools/chairs for use,

Great location to the festival we attended at the show grounds. has a cafe underneath it and close to the pub and shops. recently revamped also parking space for guests which was a great. The lady at the front desk was also lovely as were the cleaners as we crossed paths

Beds were quite small in comparison to another accom we stayed at in Kiama. We arrived early to see if we could get early check in as the festival started by 11am but only manages to check in by 1.45pm. We wish we had more time.

The location was perfect! Easy walking to everything, including the Blow Hole, cafes, pub’s & restaurants. The room was clean & the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the toiletries lovely. Tea & coffee stuff provided plus wine glasses and milk in the little fridge. Undercover parking provided & included. Lovely person to check us in and we left our keys on the front desk on checkout as advised. Easy! We will stay at the Nova in Kiama again.

I would have loved a full length mirror on the wall in the hallway of the room.
