Scenery, the green, wildlife, architecture, cleanliness, location, facilities, amneties

One important suggestion for improvement would be installing blockout blinds with full coverage, esp in the bedroom. The roller blind right above our heads let in significant light from outdoor sensor lights in the night. On our first night there, there was a thunderstorm and the sensor lights were on almost throughout the night which disturbed our sleep through the night. Additionally, providing a pair of oven gloves, a mirror in the room would also be very useful.

Good location near the skitube. The staff were nice and there was a good restaurant on-site. However we were told that this would be closed by next season. Without the restaurant there we may not book again as it is nice to have the convenience of a restaurant nearby. After a full day of skiing we didn't really feel like driving to Jindabyne for a meal...

The rooms weren't as clean as we liked. The balcony door was also broken and couldn't be closed. They did organise for a piece of timber to be put in place to secure the door...

The location was fabulous. We could see snow on the mountain tops. The free shuttle bus to the Ski Tube was a bonus. Breakfast was included and substantial to start the day. The large windows allowed a view over the lake, which was beautiful each morning. Wildlife came close to the chalet, deer, rabbits, ducks and the birds. The chalet was spacious and well supplied. The laundry included a drying room for clothes that could not be tumbledried. Just loved the heated floor in the bathroom and kitchen. We had a gas fire in the lounge area which enhanced the winter ambience.

The gas fire was a bit temperamental and often needed coaxing to remain on. On the last 2 days of our stay the TV had lost channels but that was unavoidable as the issue included the whole town. It was sad that the snow cover across the Snowy region was poor.

Cuisine Restaurant dinner was amazing food and excellent service. Buffet breakfast food was great and staff were excellent

Alpine larder cafe unfortunately let us down. Advertised menu items were ordered and unfortunately the product was not good. I ordered wood fired pizza and received a frozen food type quality standard. Not cooked in a wood fired oven and the dough was poorly made, the topping was supposed to have fetta with vegetarian option however the cheese was morzarella. Serving staff were great as always however the quality of the food let us down big time.

Architect-designed studio in duplex building in Lake Crackenback Resort Village. Fabulous inclusions - everything you could want. Location is short drive from Thredbo (summer visit so we hiked) & walking distance from trout fishing in Thredbo & Little Thredbo Rivers. Fabulous breakfast in dining room (included in price).

Food is quite expensive, both in on-site restuaurants & supermarket in Thredbo. We should have taken more supplies to cook in the studio as the kitchen was very well equipped.

Property is very clean, had a kitchenette which was well equipped ( no oven though) and had good heating. We ate at the restaurant which was quite good - although closed for dinner now. Buffet breakfast was of a good standard. The location is close to the skitube terminal.

Room was a bit smaller than expected ( it’s a studio) and although looked clean there was an ant problem. No towels provided for the pool/ sauna.

Hardly a negative to say about the property at large but the chalet we had:No 5, was tired and in need of life cycle renewal. It was generally acceptable but the Queen bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The carpet needs replacing and there was just a worn out air in the chalet.

The Roman blinds in second bedroom had an inch of dust on the top and dispersed dust into the air when lowered or raised. The main bedroom bed was sub standard and strangely hard. The pathway to restaurant for breakfast was littered with duck poo attracting hundreds of flies near the entrance to the restaurant. :(

location is wonderful

An in room compendium would be great, I know we receive info via email but for the price paid, it would be good to have detailed information in the room on arrival considering there is no in-room wifi staff were good but need a little more training, Also small attention to details need to be brought up to speed (again for the price we are paying) eg. cutlery although washed, was very ‘grubby’ from not dry polishing once washed. it’s not a good look and the marks make them look dirty. Location sells itself but it’s the service and small details that could elevate this property to reflect t prices charged.

The location and views were amazing. Walking trails. Accommodation had everything you needed

Some up keep was a letdown, bulbs not being changed, couldn't change the water from shower to bath. TV remotes had seen better days. The deck needed a little work, but only miner things. There was only 1 restaurant opened for our stay. I'm definitely not complaining about the one we ate at.

Private entry with 2 min drive or shuttle bus to ski-tube. Fast hot water system for mountain accomodations. Outstanding views to lake and bush. Various fun activities for family stay. Clean bedding.

The clock is out of battery. Living room has very dirty blindspot. Some kitchenwares were not cleaned properly. Second bedroom should have a heater.
