Lake Jindabyne Hotel

The location is excellent, with the shopping center just a few minutes walk away. Our room faces the lake, and the winter morning scenery is gorgeous, with a light mist enveloping the lake's surface, creating a picturesque scene. The hotel's breakfast is also good, offering bread, eggs, meat, vegetables, and beverages that are satisfying without being wasteful.

One drawback is that the room has air conditioning instead of heating. Sleeping at night can be quite dry, and the noise from the running air conditioning affects sleep. The bathroom area is also tiny. Overall, we are satisfied; it would be even more perfect if the price were slightly lower.

overall the property in my opinion offers a great value for money when staying here. the rooms were spacious. staff were beyond helpful in all situations including when I needed a cot for my daughter. rooms were clean and honestly the overall look of the rooms and property were okay compared to the reviews I’ve read who say it’s outdated. I think it’s actually okay and have seen worse. location was a massive bonus considering it’s close-by to whatever you need around the snowy mountains. breakfast was included in our package and it was only a basic breakfast but it was good enough to satisfy the needs. we’ll equipped breakfast if you ask me. we would definitely stay here again trust me.

I, personally didn’t mind this neither did my family BUT if you like quietness and or have a newborn who doesn’t cope well with sound, then I’d used caution booking here. Friday and Saturday night the pub does get loud and it will disturb that peace. it’s very loud in the rooms. luckily for us, we’ve trained our daughter to sleep even in the noisiest of places and us, ourselves don’t mind loud music at night. but this is a caution to families.

Very happy with the breakfast, there was plenty of options to choose from. The room size was well above our expectations and 6 people would fit with no problem. The main bed was comfortable. Value for money! The hotel dinner menu was good and the food we all had was great.

The room could of done with a microwave, however, this didn't have too much of an impact for our 2 night stay. If we were staying for a week and wanted to save a little money on food that would help. The room does not come with the standard complimentary items, milk, shampoo or body wash so byo these items.

We were MTBing at Thredbo and also the Jindy trails. Beds were super-comfy, love that the showers are hot and push out a lot of water. The cooked breakfast is a huge bonus and a key reason why we stay there before a day of MTB action.

The TXT with the room PIN code to open the door isn't as useful / helpful as it could be. It seems starting with a tick, then enter code, then re-hit tick is the way to go, but there is no mention of the ticks in the TXT sent to my mobile.

Breakfast included was fantastic. Great location to use as a base for activities in the area. Shops where you can get what you need close by including a superb hardware store and a great supermarket. Dinner in the bistro attached was very good. Not a huge menu, but more than enough dishes to choose from. Our meals were cooked just right. There is a two level section and a larger single level section, all with lake views. We stayed in the single level section. Car parked at the door. The view on the lake side was fantastic.

The fridge in our room had to be turned almost to max cold to chill things properly which is minor, but may be a problem in the future. Fly screen needs to be installed on the bathroom window to stop bugs. Maybe windows with fly screens which can be opened might be of use in summer or mid season. Both the screen door and the main door to the lake side need to be "eased". They got stuck, especially when the sun shone on them. These are not major issues, but a little bit of simple maintenance goes a long way.

Spacious room and comfy bed. Decent amount of parking. Complimentary breakfast from 6:30-9:30 was great, and the bistro has amazing food.

Only two things that stood out to me. One was that one of the glasses that was provided was broken and could have been dangerous. I also feel bedside tables would be a great addition. It's just a little annoying having to get up everytime you need a drink or anything.

Loved the location! Close to all shops and restaurants. Loved the lake view from our balcony! Just incredible!😍 The room was nice and clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Going to sleep and waking up by the sound of the lake outside our window - it was so great! Loved the friendly staff checking us in and out within 5 minutes.

The breakfast! We had a guest who isn't an Australian. He said it was the worst he tried from the many countries he visited. It was very average, unfortunately.

We enjoyed our stay at Jindabyne Hotel, and the room was very clean and tidy. The location is very good, you have to go for morning and evening walks beside the lake Jindabyne, all the restaurants are at a walking distance, make sure you choose the free breakfast option if it's available, totally worth it, warm and fresh breakfast, staff was very friendly.

perfect location. The view of the lake from my unit was spectacular. Shopping centre,cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom consisted of the toilet and shower only the hand basin was in the room, a little unusual but it was fine. A free buffet breakfast was included in the price.There is also a bistro on the premises,great pub food. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect

WE ate at Bistro most nights as it was great food an d atmosphere, and very handy. Breakfast was good quality and comprehensive menu. All staff very friendly and helpful. Linen was quite new; fitted bottom sheets would have been better Good wifi speed

Room was a little cramped for 4 people. Rooms could have a few extra shelves and bunks need some attention to reduce noise during the night. Saturday night the Bistro was very noisy and we couldn't get much sleep.
