General location (ground floor), easy parking. friendly reception, convenient location.

YOUR SIGN! After dark the script 'Lakeside Inn' is far too small, especially in fast moving traffic with headlight dazzle, and with distraction masking from Service Station (particularly as the entrance appears to be simply part of the service station). Is it even visible for traffic travelling South? We expected a nice big obvious sign and had to run up and down Windang Rd 3 times before finding the entrance. Minor issues. The TV aerial wall socket is dodgy. The overhead shower suddenly let rip on my wife and resulted in the operating hand piece being dropped and fumbled with the whole bathroom drenched. How she managed that to happen is not clear. No spare blanket (yes AC could be used but my wife won't, thinking it would be noisy.)

The staff was very friendly and in fact called us to check if we are able to arrive on time for check-in or alternate arrangements are to be made. The room provided to us was very spacious with two double beds and one single bed, capable of accommodating 5 adults. Lots of car parking slots available.

The window had a gap and would not close properly. Due to this, the gush of cold breeze kept flowing in to the room all night, negating the comfort provided by the room heater.

Generally the room was at a good standard however the bathroom needed a small amount of maintenance. The bath tub tap would run at the same time when the shower was turned on. Also when the shower was used the bath tub plug would not drain freely resulting in the water building up in the tub when showering. The toilet roll holder was loose resulting in the toilet paper roll falling to ground. Other than these small things the stay was excellent. Thank you Lakeside

The staff first and foremost are lovely helpful people, and it was a pleasure to stay there. My lakefront cabin was "bloody beautiful", and the sunsets were amazing to witness. My cat was able to come with me and hes a very anxious cat, but was so relaxed and content. The little cabin was cosy and comfortable and the heater worked very well. Huge big tv on the wall with Netflix in the loungeroom, and very nicely lit with lots of windows for natural sunlight. Bed was really comfy also and pretty close to shops and things

Very hard to find the entrance and when you do the driveway is quite concealed and on a busy 6 lane road, so you just scoot in and hope for the best lo Other then that, my stay was by far the most enjoyable I've had anywhere in a long time

Never judge a book by its cover. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The beds clean and the bathrooms updated and immaculate.

Upon arriving at the place I thought it was a shambles. The whole outdoors was a complete rundown motel. The pool has seen better days and trip hazards everywhere.

We had 6 nights in a Lakeside cabin and Wow!!! was worth every cent to be 3 metres from the lake with the stunning views, wild life and sunsets, Totally Amazing and made our trip.

I guess not having cooking facilities in the cabin we had (eg Cooking and Kitchen sink) was not the best, however we did know this when we booked. One other thing was that the Bed in the bedroom was hard up against one wall and couldn't be moved to gain easy access, so some acrobatics was required to reach pillows

This is a fabulous holiday park in a beautiful location. We booked the cabin with queen bed and separate double bunk room and didn’t realise this cabin was not absolute lake front. We asked the lovely people at reception if we could change to a lake front cabin with separate main bedroom and if the sofa bed in the living area could be made up for our daughter. This was no problem and the lady at reception immediately went to work to put fresh sheets on the main queen bed and make up the sofa bed. Fantastic service and very accomodating of our last minute request to change rooms. These cabins have a lovely veranda and we had a fantastic evening watching the sun set over the lake and then the twinkling lights across the other side of the lake. The rooms are very comfy, the air conditioner and panel heater in the main bedroom keep kept us very comfy on a chilly winter night. It was so quiet, no noise from the outside, we had a peaceful nights sleep.

The rooms are great value for money and clean and QUIET (especially necessary for a family stay) We ate at the restaurant at Golfview which was amazing - the staff there are friendly efficient and nothing is too much trouble! Both dinner (when we arrived tired hungry and only just in time for a meal) and breakfast both meals were cooked perfectly and staff helpful.

The cabin on the lake....the view.....omg bliss! The fact we could bring Phoebe, our little dog with us made us so happy. She loved it too! Cute little cabin, great water pressure. Hoping to stay again and soon!

The bed haha It gave hubs and I both sore backs. A motion sensor light on the verandah would be helpful and also the shower head wouldn't stay up, so that was a good work out in a tightly confined space....lol

Bed was comfy, good shower. Roomy. Buffet breakfast is offered at the Golf Inn a drive down the road that was superb.

Need a maintenance person, grounds had rubbish everywhere and the pool looked dirty uncleaned for a well used area. BBQ was filthy cobwebs on chairs and BBQ. wardrobe up against QBed was stupid would hv to rearrange everything to put things in there. Get in early for a car park.
