I liked the Resort, friendly staff and they were accomadating. I had a concern with the pools chlorine level and the lovely receptionist got the manager who looks after the pools. This is was very nice of them to come out and explain... Views was nice , I had ocean view room 1 bedroom deluxe apartment, the room had new furnitures and it was cosy apartment. This resort is close to all shops, great location and few mins from beach.. Beautiful place

Few things that can improve: Having smart TV in the room or providing Google chromechast or Apple TV.. also DVD player is preety old school if they can change this to Bluetooth speaker would be great. The kitchen taps are very high .. each time I used the Sink the bench tops got wet and same for the handbasin in the toilet bathroom area.

Great location, plenty of parking, close to Supermarket, Restaurants, Nelson Bay wharf, Good view of the bay from balcony,

Rooms are outdated, no inbuilt laundry, have to use communal laundry by paying $4 for a wash and $4 for laundry powder. For the price paid, expected bit more modern rooms. No room service and extra towels are additional costs. However one time complementary extra towel was provided. Resort had heated swimming pool, however when we we went there the water was cold.

The hotel is not in the city centre but it is close enough (6 mins by walking and 2 mins by car) to many restaurants and shops, and Woolworth. Plenty car parking spaces, the receptionist is very friendly and informative. The room is spacious, clean and tidy with all cooking facilities, also with sea view from the balcony. The air con is working well.

It is minor to us, as I doubt that the room size is not as big as advertised (56 sq m, and I noted that this room is the smallest of the whole level 5) but we found that this size is OK with us.

Located close to everything! Especially the tennis and lawn bowls. The reception staff were so kind and welcoming! Lots of car park space. Bed was a really good size and very comfy. I liked how every room has a view of the ocean.

That there was no indoor spa/pool which would be good for the colder days. There was no gym. That you had to pay to use the gaming facilities e.g. pool table and air hockey - I feel like that should be included as it’s a facility of the hotel and have paid a lot of money for our stay.

Great location overseeing Nelson Bay. right next door to Golf Course within walking distance, good distance from Gan Gan lookout. spacious unit, self-contained kitchen. Friendly staff at the reception and quality outdoor pool facilities. The Nelson Wat restaurant was actually one of the highst ranked ones with good selection of f&b. Highly recommend for family trips

could do a little better job with housekeeping during the peak season. hair drops in bathroom and bedroom were the only thing missing expectation, however, overall good experience.

The room was well equipped for our stay, with crockery and utensils, microwave, and small dishwasher. The view across the carpark wasn't ideal but from inside the unit you could see across the bay. which was a lovely outlook. Access to the town was an easy walk from the unit. Plenty of parking available.

Shower over bath, allowed water onto the floor but not a huge inconvenience for a few nights stay.

I requested a cot but it wasnt set up. My husband had to pick it up and set it up. There was no space in the room for cot. The baby slept in the living room. When we got there we requested late check out abd they said it should be ok. Then when we went to check night before check out they only gave us half an hour more which was difficult with 2 toddlers.

Convenience and space. Was great to be able to come and go and proximity to everything was wonderful

We stayed a week and it would have been good to have the room serviced once in that time. There is no vacuum in the room. Other places I’ve stay will service every 4-5 days. Cooking equipment in room was also all damaged and Teflon pans were very damaged which isn’t safe to use.

Convenient 10 minute walk to most of the restaurants. Appreciated having a small kitchen plus dining table, plus an outside balcony with additional table and chairs. Comfortable living room which we used a bit due to inclement weather. The pool was huge, although we didn't use because of the weather. We enjoyed the distant ocean view.

Netflix didn't work well. Stalled when using, we didn't persevere. The bed was too soft, ie we kinda rolled into the middle of it which wasn't great. The glass in the shower needs to be extended as the water soaked the floor when showering. The kitchen cupboards didn't fit well. The crockery and glassware weren't the best, ie the breakfast bowls were tiny and the wine glasses and tumblers were cheap.

The room was specious and clean. We had a lovely view over the pool to the ocean beyond. Comfortable beds and great shower and a lovely balcony to sit out for pre dinner drinks. Staff were friendly and polite. Great having that cat park at the back of the hotel for ease of loading and unloading the bags.

The pool was noisy but it was holidays and only noisy through the day so not a problem for us.
