The kitchen, cutlery, drink ware, beds, bathroom were all immaculately clean. The room was bright and airy with a beautiful balcony. Although situated on a main road, there was no heavy traffic noise throughout the day or night. Cafes, Woolworths, petrol station were all in close walking distance. It was a lovely area to explore by foot. Very suburban with all essentials close by. Aircon worked well and was comfortable. The whole space was lovely and a joy to come back to after a day out. Hot water came quickly and remained hot.

Wished to have stayed longer.

Have stayed here multiple times, and plan on coming back. However there’s 2 things that could be improved- The Wifi and kid friendliness. The wifi only worked while I was sitting outside. There’s no games room or anything obviously but since they’ve had to shut down the pool there is nothing for children to do. Would be a great if you could turn the pool area into a play area for kids since it’s already got a fence around it!

Nice quiet room away from traffic noise. Bathroom was nice & clean and had a good-sized basin, with some storage space in cabinet below the basin. Much better than some other rooms which have a cabinet above a small basin - overhead cabinet makes it hard to use a small basin. Kitchen bench area with a kitchen sink, and a microwave. Overhead shelving in kitchen was convenient for storing my food items.

Overhead shelving above kitchen bench was welcome (as stated above), BUT part of it sticks out too far, especially near the sink in some rooms. So when I was standing at the sink I kept hitting my head on this bit. I think this part of the overhead shelving used to be where the microwave was housed. Please don't remove all the overhead shelving, just the part that sticks out near the sink.

narrow car park spaces not numbered, the maroon fabric upholstered chairs were grotty, stained with what appeared to be food, we chose to cover the chairs with a spare blanket rather that sit directly on them. bathroom has been renovated but original floor tiles (didn’t match colour scheme) were evident. The cutlery provided didn’t match and was missing items

The room was clean and well equipped with a microwave, kettle, fridge and dishes. AC was cold. The lady working the front desk was very friendly and made several local recommendations

The floor in the room was quite tired and could do with replacing. Most was tile so did feel clean despite missing grout

I was amazed at all of our expectations being met. The privacy of the village is brilliant, would stay there again and again. My trip was intended for my grandson to have his first train ride, surprise visit with his big brother and grandma memories for when I am no longer on the twig. Loved the stay, thank you. Lady in the office is a little gem as well :)

Nothing to not like, amazing place.

Location was great, not a long drive from centre of Newcastle or beaches. Walking distance to local shops and cafe.

It would have been good to have use of the pool but I understand it wasn’t available and we knew that when we booked as the hotel let us know. So it wasn’t really a problem.

My husband and I stayed for a week in no.21 Villa. It was at the back, away from the road, and was private and quiet. There was a well-kept garden with trimmed hedges which provided a pleasant outlook. The Villa could accommodate 3 people with a double bed and a sofa to sleep a third person if needed. It was very clean light and airy. It was spacious with table/chairs, and a kitchenette area with a microwave, fridge and Tv. An ensuite with toileteries was off the sleeping area A sliding door led to a small courtyard with a table and 2 chairs. Crockery, cutlery and tea/coffee were provided. The staff were very obliging and friendly. We would be happy to stay here again

If I must comment here - A bread knife to cut the bun we bought would have been useful. There is nothing that we didn't like.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was basic, but very clean, quite big and had everything we needed. It felt safe and the beds were very comfortable. Very happy with our stay.

The area is not fab and unfortunately many places were closed because it was Monday. However, it is a good place to stay for a night.

Bed was comfortable. Location was good. Facilities provided good. Staff friendly.

Would prefer extra lock on door. Noises on patio during night. May have been possum from overhanging trees but a little scarey. Skylight in Cabin 10 bit silly. Prefer a nice dark room for sleeping in when on holidays.
