Great location for the beach, a little out of town centre for young kids to go out during the night but we were able to prepare food in Kitchen was well equipped Clean and comfy

Water pressure wasn’t great No outdoor furniture on balcony Furniture was a little shabby but it was still okay More bedding needed on bed. Stairs going up to the apartment (although we were warned on booking, but hard with young kids) Indoor pool great but not warm enough in winter. Spa wasn’t working

The apartment we booked had the views overlooking the ocean as described when we booked. The view was awesome! We were happy we could park undercover and that with the location , most things were walk- able distance for us. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, rather special and were very pleased. The indoor pool was great and I used it daily. All the staff were lovely, big smiles, reception, the housekeeping staff and a special mention to Jazz the maintenance guy, super helpful trying to sort out an issue we had. Will definitely be back.

Unfortunately the weather was humid and warm and the fan in the bedroom made loud clicking noises, which you could not sleep through, too humid to open the balcony door, a couple of uncomfortable nights. Maintenance tried different things but we ended up switching rooms, Identical to ours for the remaining 2 nights. These things happen, it didn't take long and it did not spoil our stay. Excellent customer service from Melissa and Jazz.

Courteous, kind and helpful staff at reception. In particularly stressful conditions following a horrendous storm on 03/02/2023 the staff did all they could to assist with no power, no lifts, no air con and numerous other issues. I personally witnessed the staff being abused at reception but they conducted themselves admirably. Some priviledged individuals just have no empathy. The event was violent and damaging but no fault of theirs. Hats off for the way they handled a very confronting and difficult situation.

Location. Great room. Comfortable bed.

The location was beautiful overlooking the park & ocean. We really like the balcony how it had glass shutters which gave us fresh air when open but when closed it was Lovely and warm with the sun coming in on the table & chairs. The garage was easy to access and the lift took us directly to our floor. We had a toaster in our room so we could make toast and tea for breakfast.

Nothing really. We were very comfortable. If I was staying longer I would get an apartment instead of a hotel room.

We had the three bedroom apartment which was perfect for me, my wife and our four grown children. It was very comfortable and is located just across the street from the beautiful beach park. The kitchen was reasonably well stocked with dishes, pots and pans so we could make a hearty breakfast before hitting the road. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Though our van was too tall for the car park, there was plenty of street parking available right in front of the building.

I wish we had more time to stay there.

We loved the room set-up....it has a delightful view over Town Beach, looking through the Norfork Pines. Easy walking distance to town and the local boardwalk which takes you to the other end of town. We always pick this resort because of the heated pool/spa area.

We could not use the pool area on our last morning because it was being cleaned. We had a late checkout approved, so this was disappointing. I suggest that a notice should be put up the day before letting visitors know in advance which hours the pool would be unavailable :((((

great location just across the road from the beach, where there's also a popuar cafe right by the water, and a park area. reception staff were very friendly and helpful. nice views, although a bit blocked by the large trees along the coastline. was pleased to see an option to put back used tourist brochures so they can be re-used rather than thrown away, that's a great initiative. parking was pretty easy, but got a bit full later in the day, but plenty of free parking on the street infront and behind the hotel. the bistro at the bowling club was pretty good, a shame no views from the club. the walking path that goes around the coastline can be accessed from the beach and park area, well worth checking out even if it's not the whole 9km.

it's on a surprisingly busy road, so it was quite noisy. i didn't get to listen to the ocean much, because it was drowned out by traffic. i think i may have chosen a weekend where there was some kind of car club meet on, because it seemed like every 2nd vehicle that went past had an unnecessarily loud exhaust. also there's about half a dozen street lights, because of the park area right in front of the hotel, so if you're not on one of the higher levels there's a lot of light coming in at night. i was on level 2 which was exact height of all the street lights. not a huge choice of restaurants around, the seafood restaurant downstairs looked quite expensive, i didn't eat there, but the cbd isn't far, just annoying to have get in the car or wait for delivery.

The apartment was very spacious, the kitchen was reasonable equipped with a large fridge with freezer, microwave, stove and oven, there was even a Nespresso machine. There was a washing machine and clothes dryer. The apartment looked clean and did not smell in any way (I have seen reviews in that respect).

The beige carpet looked quite dirty right at the edges where it touches the walls and a normal vacuum cleaner cannot reach (actually it was nearly black). That should be rectified. Another minor critic point would be that I would like the towels changed once in a while. I believe the current policy is only doing house service for stays of 8 nights or longer. (To be fair to the hotel, they probably would have changed them if I had called reception and asked for it).

we stay often at the observatory and love the pool, spa and sauna. often it has rained on the weekend we have visited and because the pool etc is indoors the kids love that they can still enjoy a swim and play no matter the weather. And if we manage to have some nicer weather the beach is literally across the road.

It’s not ideal to walk back from pool to garden unit wet and cold. we have started to walk via the carpark which was less cold and exposed

The location was amazing, loved the ocean views.

The back bedrooms in the 2/3 bedroom apartments need their own air-conditioner. They were so hot and barely any air circulation, even with the ceiling fan, it was unbearable in these rooms. Our son and his partner had to sleep out in the loungeroom. I was embarrassed and felt so bad for them, as the other rooms were fine. Please do something about this, I surely can't be the only one to complain.
