The room and location were great. The spa in the bathroom was fabulous and the room big and airy.

There were guests that were noisy; drinking and talking loudly on their balcony. It was a Tuesday night and well and truly after 11pm. The balcony the guests were on, was directly opposite my room. I rang the reception to advise the staff of the situation and that I would ask said guests to be aware of their noise level, considering it was late. I stated to staff, if the guests do not quieten down after I politely ask them to, that I would expect the staff to step in and ask them to be quieter. The staff at reception were not in the least assertive and I could sense they felt uncomfortable dealing with the rowdy guests. This is an area of customer service that staff need to be trained and competent in, thus an area for management to coach staff in.

At night you can hear the idiots P platers driving around in their hot up cars. so may need double glazing doors. That definitely keeps you up at night as your right there near a look out area. Curtains are mouldy, needs attention. Doors & locks are hard to open cause of the salt on the tracks. the place needs looking after abit more especially so close to the sea. The salt water will distroy things slowly if you don’t keep on top of it. Bathroom getting a bit smelly & old with rust forming. Yellow on tiles. Do the cleaners do the maintenance too?

The bed was very comfortable and the property was clean and tidy. It was brand new and the location was excellent. Definitely staying here again!

The bathroom in this particular room was terrible. If I was taller my knees would hit the wall when sitting on the toilet! You couldn’t open the door because it hit the sink. If you were claustrophobic or hard of movement, I wouldn’t recommend this particular room. However, we visited another room on the property and it was spacious. So just unlucky pick for us, I don’t think all the rooms would be this way.

Great view over the beach and bay from the room, which had a small balcony with table and two chairs. The only hotel in our month-long trip that had decaffeinated coffee sachets!!! Large comfy bed. Modern bathroom, immaculately clean, plenty of pump-bottle toiletries. By far the best included breakfast in our month-long travels. Served in the sunny first-floor dining room with lovely sea views, there was a huge selection of items: several kinds of cereal with milk and yogurts, lots of fruit (fresh and canned), bread, crumpets, croissant-style rolls, banana bread, ham cheese and tomatoes with which I made a toastie, juices and excellent coffee.

We were charged a surcharge for using a credit card to pay. Not a large amount, but it should have appeared on the website, which misleadingly states “Includes taxes and charges”. The pool was closed, reason unspecified. There was a sign on the hot drinks machine in the breakfast room saying “out of order” in the afternoon. It was working fine at breakfast, so we wondered whether this was just to stop you using it. No lift - luckily, we were only two floors up (and help was offered). The outside of the balcony window needed a good clean as it was covered with salt spray. The extractor fan in the bathroom was as far away from the shower as it could possibly be, so the steam removal was not effective.

I love this place is not only pet friendly but the staff actually love pets. They go above and beyond and I would definitely come back.

The pet policy, although I understand the reason of the pet agreement that you cannot leave your pet in a room unattended, I guess for pet barking/noise, this should be discretionary as it does not apply to all pets. I felt like I had to sneak out to get some food. My pet was quiet and never barked. She never does. Other hotels do not insist on staying in the room at all times, they rely on the owners to show responsibility and should be held accountable. Could have same waver with, if you leave your pet unattended…. You risk or consequences….I am looking for a place to stay on my regular travels down south. Need to know I am not, and pet is not under scrutiny when she never barks or causes disturbance.

Fantastic location overlooking the beach. Was very close to a few great eateries too. There was two playgrounds within walking distance. Room was very spacious and well appointed, as was the bathroom with a good sized shower.

Nothing the motel could do about it, but the beach car park across the road was the scene of an impromptu car show late at night. They thought we all wanted to hear their sports exhausts. As for what the motel could do, there is nothing to complain about!

It was in a beautiful location. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Kyle was an excellent staff member at the motel. He was very helpful, kind, polite and knowledgeable person to sum it all up he was a gentleman. Will definitely recommend this beautiful motel to friends and family. And we will be visiting again. Nothing Everything was amazing

Great location. Straight across from the beach and easy walk down town to restaurants and shops. It was so good to find a hotel that is doggy friendly too. It was the biggest reason we chose to stay at Ibis Styles as they allowed our pet to stay with us as well.

Nothing really to dislike. It was exactly what we expected. If I had to find something to pick on, it would have been nice to have some more hot food options at breakfast, but for what we paid for we had plenty to choose from. Other than that the place was great!

Fantastic location. Away from the main drag but an easy 7 min walk. We chose an ocean view room to take advantage of the views which were magnificent. Even managed to get a few snaps of the sunrise. Room was clean and tidy.

Rooms were very basic and not worth the price. King bed was uncomfortable. One side was actually higher than the other. Public carpark across the road - on a Saturday night it seemed to be the place for the young ones to hang out and make lots of noise. Parking - get in early otherwise you have to park out on the street.

Clean and well located, we enjoyed our stay at the pet-friendly Ibis styles Port Macquarie. The staff were courteous and friendly, the room was renovated, had good AC and was well-sized with a big tv, and had amenities like a microwave and crockery which came in handy. Nice to have fresh milk in the fridge each day too. We loved the big comfortable bed! Thank you team Ibis Styles!

The pool is small and not well located on a busy road.
