Friendly greeting, room is ample size, not huge but well appointed, with kitchenette, full size fridge and microwave. King bed, comfortable. I had one of the rooms in the annex with off street parking All fittings and fixtures were good quality. Bathroom is modern and good size Overall a comfortable affordable option for a night or three. Not too far from the water at all. Couple of takeaways (Fisho and Pizza) 200m away.

All good, no complaints from me as a solo traveller. Room might be smallish for 2 people for a lengthy stay, but if you need a bed and kitchen in between sightseeing, can't go wrong for the price.

Super clean. Had a bright, airy feel. You could open a window or use the air-conditioning. Tea and coffee facilities. Plates, bowls and cutlery, microwave & toaster in room which was great to have! Compact room. Spacious bathroom. Has a tiny ledge on either side of bed that served as bedside tables, we thought that was cute. Power points on both sides. Wardrobe had proper hangers and were mirrored, so you could use that while someone was in the bathroom. They had a recycling bin on the premises.

Bathroom exhaust was not very strong. As a budget room, it doesn't have a seat anywhere or a place to put luggage. Very tiny wardrobe. Bed was a little too soft for my liking. Would have liked a second bin in the bedroom as there was only one in the bathroom.

These units are very well-designed and extremely comfortable. The bed was very comfy and the room was spacious with good facilities to heat food and keep it cool. Parking was right outside the door.

We have been on the road a lot and looked forward to a couple of nights here to recharge our batteries. However as we tried to relax the morning after we arrived, children were racing around on bikes and scooters and yelling up and down the path outside our door. It turned out that these were the children of the motel staff, who were on half-term holiday. I did come out of my room to question what was going on and was told by one of the staff "they are only kids!" I think this is a pretty poor attitude towards a paying guest! This spoiled what would have been a perfect stay.

The host was very friendly. Seems like a family run motel. My room was small (I booked a cheaper room on line) bu tit had everything that I needed for 1 night, including fridge, microwave, cutlery, shower products, lots of power points etc. It looked to have been renovated recently so flooring, tiles in bathroom etc. were in good condition. There was lots of hot water and strong pressure which was welcomed after a long drive. There was air con but I didn't use it. As advertised it was 10 minutes walk to the beach or the city. There was a popular fish and chip shop as well as a pizza shop less than 5 mins walk away and within sight of the front door.

Towels were a little thin.

Friendly, helpful staff & the room was very clean with modern decor. For a reasonable price the room was very well equipped with a microwave, fridge, toaster, plates etc, iron & ironing board. The motel is walking distance to all conveniences. Also good communication from them relating to check in procedure. This is the second time I have used this motel & have been very happy both times with my stay.

Parking on site is not always included but I have been fortunate & given off street parking when I arrived.

Perfect overnighter as I was enroute north. The room in the cottage although small was all that was needed and it was clean & fresh looking with all the basics. Arrived after hours and the instructions were very clear & simple to follow.

Had to park in the street as our room didn't include parking (which I knew when booking). Most other rooms do have parking. This was no issue as I could park right in front of the hotel and only had a short walk with out bags. The street is quiet with plenty of parking.

Motel is in a quiet street and the room was ground floor with parking outside the door. Staff responded nicely to an update on our arrival time, and were very friendly and helpful on our arrival. Facility seemed to have been there a while but room interiors were renovated with modern colours and appliances. Quiet one night stay. Comfortable, practical and easy walk to the beach (Town Beach) and town centre. Room had a microwave, small refrigerator, small kitchenette with dishes, cups, glasses and cutlery. Ironing board in room. We were also offered a toaster if we wanted it. Recommend for a short stay.

No onsite or nearby meals, but a short trip to cafes and restaurants.

Excellent location, comfortable room, great value for money and friendly staff. The room was clean and tidy. It had a spacious bathroom and good shower pressure. The provided amenities were generous, including Moccona coffee

The walls were a bit thin, so we could hear the people in the next unit. Hair dryer and toaster were only available on request rather than automatically included with the room. As we arrived in the evening after reception had closed, we had to wait until the next day before we could get those.

No-frills motel, but everything I needed. Spotlessly clean, everything worked, hot shower, comfortable bed with blanket not doona (yay!), friendly staff, convenient location within walking distance of everywhere I needed to go.

I bumped my head on the towel shelf above the towel rail (bent down to dry my face, didn't see the shelf). Turned out the shelf has reasonably sharp metal edges; I got a very minor cut on my scalp. My fault entirely (careless) but maybe the overall arrangement could be improved somehow?

Probably the most comfortable motel bed we’ve ever slept in. Large room with nice kitchenette with microwave, toaster, jug and plates, bowls, cutlery etc. Great water pressure in the shower. It was a short walk to city centre, waterfront pathways and the beaches. The guy at reception offered us recommendations for restaurants and was very helpful. Great service and great accomodation for a great price.

Nothing. It was one of the best we’ve stayed for the price.
