The views of Sydney Harbour were spectacular from my room on the 22nd floor. The bed was comfortable and the room size was very generous. Access to the sauna and steam room on 24f were an added bonus, and much enjoyed. The staff were friendly and eager to help and made considerable efforts to accommodate guests' needs. My high floor room request and late checkout was arranged - thanks to the reception team. The location is ideal for easy walking access to the city, Botanical Gardens, and Circular Quay. Museum or St James are the closest train stations. There is a Woolworths grocery store across the road and a few coffee shops close to the hotel. There are many restaurants within 10 mins walk, including a whole foodie corner around Stanley Street. For me, this was good value for my money and any negative comments are to provide a balanced review.

Although the hotel has some old-world charm, it needs some upgrades and modernisation. The carpet and furnishings are dated and tired, especially in the corridors. The hotel needs to increase its staff so that more frequent room cleaning can be attended.

room, location, cleaning, room service and reception was lovely, please keep up the good work.

Uber driver struggle to find hotel entrance down to car park at the front of william street. a sign saying to turn in would be ideal. Uber drivers needed to pick up from back of hotel everytime.

very convenient, walking distance to the city and places we intend to visit

All is okay aside from: 1) only one teaspoon provided, need to wash the spoon as taste funny to use teaspoon stir into a cup of coffee, then use to stir into cup of tea. 2) shampoo, conditioner, body lotion provided already been used by previous guests. it’s a bit un hygienic and felt off using them. Please advise staff to check when they are cleaning the room. My friend did not have her a shower, as she is very fussy in that matter. who ever cleaned Room 1910 this morning 12/05 , might have noticed that the other set of towel and hand towel not used.

The bed was huge and room was very spacious. We were also allowed to have early check in which is very considerate as we came from 7hour flight. That was very nice. The location of the hotel was good not too crowded and a few mins walk to the townhall station, museums and church. * just across the street is a supermarket which is very convenient to buy basic necessities.

The only thing is the housekeeping which was scheduled every 4th day. They should inform before booking, not after booking. We stayed 8 days and housekeeping was done 1 day only. Coz the 2nd scheduled one is the last nyt we are staying . But nevertheless, good hotel 😊😊😊

The room was spacious which is the main highlight of staying in the hotel. Everyone else from work who stayed right in the heart of CBD commented their room is small.

I wish it could have been a lot closer to the city. Although it was only a 10-15 mins walk, if its a holiday, it's okay. But when its for a work trip, it does get in the way when I have to walk back and forth carrying heavy bags to the city. Saving grace is easy pick up and drop off for Uber. But the thing is, if you are ubering to a destination that is 10 mins by walking, it does put you in a spot whether it's really worth being stuck in traffic and get there later.

I like the building itself, it’s 70s vibe with modern amenities and amazing views of the Harbour Bridge and city skyline. I loved the location, short walk to many places such as Museum, Art Gallery of NSW, Sydney Opera House, Botanical Gardens, city centre shopping, cafes and restaurants. There’s even a small woolies shop next door.

I understand that staff shortages are quite common these day, however I didn’t like being told after free cancellation deadline passed that both restaurants are closed and room cleaning will be done only every 3 days which meant on day 4 of our 7 day stay. After raising this issue, the reception staff kindly agreed to arrange cleaning for us twice during our stay. It would also be better if there were more towels available per person, that way they wouldn’t need to be changed as frequently. Drying them after use was a problem.

The location is great, 10 mins walking to the St Mary's Cathedral and museum, close to the train station and bus station in front of the hotel. Staff members are very kind and servicial, we could leave the luggage before the check-in time and same in the checkout time they kept our luggage up so we could go to the airport. The cleaning staff always with a smile, providing excellent service. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with no noise coming from the street, the mattress and pillows excellent quality, and the room is huge with everything that you need. The sauna and steam room are amazing good. We had a lovely staying in The Sydney Boulevard Hotel. I will stay there once I go back to Sydney

Everything was great :)

The harbour views from our room were spectacular. The rooms are large, and the bathroom had both a shower over a bath and a free-standing shower. The location was great .. easy walking access to the city centre via Hyde Park .. or you can cut down the side street to the NSW State Art Gallery and through the Botanical Gardens to the Opera House and Quay for the Manly Ferry sevices. Reception staff were very helpful. Parking at $25 per day is good value for CBD. WiFi was of good quality and the lifts were surprisingly fast for an old hotel. Sauna and Steamroom on level 24 were a nice feature.

Hotel decor is getting dated .. carpet & curtains need replacing .. needs modernising. Hotel Cafe closed.

Location was amazing, so easy to walk or catch public transport. Harbour view from room was amazing, check in and check out process nice and straightforward. Room was clean and comfortable. Cafes, supermarkets, convenience stores, food shops and parks all within easy walking distance. Perfect little base for a couple of days in the CBD.

Air con was very weak and you can’t open any windows to let in the fresh air. You can adjust the temperature all the way down to 5 degrees, but it doesn’t make much difference. Room feels a bit warm and stuffy when you first walk in to it, but you adapt and there were no issues with sleeping. Not a huge problem for us given that it’s a bit cooler at this time of year, but I can see how it would be a problem in summer.

We thought the location was great and were able to walk to a few sight seeing locations

We understand that sometimes staffing is an issue and were not able to attend to our room at all during our stay. We did get an email prior and thought a discount may have applied upon check in or perhaps breakfast could have been added for the inconvenience but this was not the case unfortunately and we were not able to cancel our accommodation and go somewhere else as this would have been at the time of the email non refundable.
