Reception was very friendly and welcoming - glass of wine after a long drive much appreciated. Room was nice, clean and relatively spacious. Bathroom was a good size. Good location next to the Longyard and close to Zarraffas and McDonald's.

The music at the Longyard on the nights we were there was my kind of music so didn't worry me that I could hear it but if it wasn't your music then it might be a bit loud.

It was very clean. The location was great with the long yard hotel right there and plenty of food options all around in walking distance. and the staff were great and very accommodating. I highly recommend staying here.

Let me be up front first ....... This would be the 8th or 9th time I've stayed at the Golden Guitar when on motorbike trips , so that speaks volumes for a start .......Really friendly and helpful staff who can't do enough for your stay with them.....Rooms are always clean with all the facilities you would need......opp Macca's , BP , Bikewash centre and of course the Longhorn tavern next door ( Top meals ) ........What more could a group of Motorbike riders want!....Always the best stay in Tamworth by far !

It was clean, smelt clean as well. The beds were comfortable and the staff lovely. Wish we could have stayed an extra night but we had to keep on our travels. I loved the pub next door with amazing food and the information centre , wax museum next door as well. Perfect location.

Loved how friendly and approachable the staff and owners were. Also, how respectful they were when my daughter was down for a nap. The location was perfect for what I needed. Everything was so close to us. And many food options around.

A stay at the iconic motel with the photo opportunity just out the front. This is a very popular motel so make sure to book ahead if you want to stay here. Fantastic cooked breakfast also close meal options that we did not take advantage of this trip. Zarraffis coffee just a short walk if you are after a nice coffee.

The location was perfect for my stay as it was close to AELEC. On arrival I was promptly greeted by friendly staff and check-in was easy. My room was spacious, clean and well appointed. During my stay there was staff onsite if required. I travel frequently for work and will certainly stay here again and highly recommend to other travellers visiting Tamworth.

Exceptional cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff especially was our first time ever staying. Paid extra for the bath and was a bonus for me, pub so close, very convenient and with the souvenir shop and wax museum right next door was a very well worth stay and will definitely be staying again soon.

The fact we didn't book breakfast. Will do it next stay.

I love that you get a free drink on arrival. I had a glass of white wine. After a long drive there is nothing better. I would ask for a white wine, and it would be in my room before I had parked the car.
