We stayed in one of the deluxe spa ocean view rooms, the view was incredible. The room was nice, we loved the spa and the sliding door/window from the bathroom onto the balcony. The hammock on the balcony was nice… the man who I believe is the morning manager of the rocks restaurant (I think his name was something like ‘mauro’) was extremely kind and accommodating. Breakfast that was included was delicious.

We went down to have drinks by the pool twice, the drinks took ages to get to our little tables (15-20 minutes both times- and yes It was actually that long) because of this, we didn’t stay for more drinks, we went elsewhere… also, we wanted to order room service 1 night, they charge $8 to deliver your food to your room (as well as card charges- can’t seem to room charge through that type of ordering system). Because of this, we decided to just go out to eat somewhere completely different… I will say that because of these issues, this place missed out on hundreds of dollars from us. I also wanted to get a massage but didn’t because they charge $160, so again, I went elsewhere.

Fabulous location, excellent room and facilities. Ocean deluxe room, fab view, very clean and well appointed. Good selection of teas and coffee were provided and topped up every day. Nice touch with water provided on day one in refillable metal bottles. Pool was a great size, some shade available as the sun moves round. Continental breakfast included, good value and plenty of choice. If you want hot then you can order for an additional cost but we found it not necessary. 2 min walk if that, takes you into the boardwalk, turn right out of the hotel and your at the marina and a fab waterside restaurant and bar called Sorrentos. Turn left and walk for approx ten minutes and your on the high street, you can walk through the park for the lagoon and high street is behind this. Reasonably flat walk and good for those with accessibility needs. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend.

Restaurant was very expensive. Only one vegetarian option on the main meals which was very disappointing, this was a very good meal but meant we only ate in once. QR code ordering was extremely slow so after the first time of waiting 45 mins we just went up to the bar from then on.

Location! Cleanliness. Views. Proximity to ports and town centre Housekeeping did a great job with rooms Live music was great

Restaurant closed early Some staff (reception & bar) unfriendly Needs more activities - eg yoga only once per week, would’ve loved to have done more Bath salts should be provided for rooms with spas Pool towels should be replaced by housekeeping with every clean Quick build up of ants when drinks left on tables adjoining the day beds. Bar staff should wipe clean as they clear the glasses Given the extreme humidity, bottles of water should be topped up each day

Very clean and modern. Everything you need in the room. The fixtures are lovely. Great size bath and fantastic shower. Great storage if you are there for a longer stay such as a big drawer in bathroom vanity and bedroom side tables. Bed and pillows were so comfy! Great size TV with Netflix's etc. The balcony with view was lovely. Housekeeping service was spot on. About a 10 minute walk into town.

The pool is not heated. We visited in May and experienced various weather but most days were hot and lovely. I only was able to use the pool quickly once as it was so cold. It was very obvious that other guests felt the same either not going in or getting straight out. I over heard other guests comment aswell that if it was heated then they would have enjoyed it much more. I understand it's the Whitsundays and they have beautiful weather most of the year. But to visit in May which isn't even Winter, and not be able to swim was a negative. And it really changed the kind of tropical holiday we were hoping for. For that reason I wouldn't return to this accommodation and would stay somewhere else in town.

Beautiful place. Thanks to the Spanish girl and Birmingham girl in the restaurant/bar area. Lovely people Loved the room. Exceptional

Could order pizza to your room for 8 dollar delivery fee but couldn't eat it in the restaurant as it was classed as not fine dining. Which meant on my last night there, all I could eat was a bowl of chips as there was nothing on the menu for me to eat! Waitess would not offer anything different like no fish in linguine perhaps?! As a disabled person, I thought it was unfair that I couldn't eat anything and couldn't walk to another restaurant. No chicken dishes!

The hotel was beautiful. Room was a good size, bed was VERY comfy and we had a little view to the ocean (although obstructed by palm trees). The breakfast was a bit basic in options but delicious. We loved chilling in the sunbeds area where we had a beautiful view of the whitsunday islands. We also had lunch and dinner at the restaurant. It's a bit pricier than if you eat outside probably, but the food was excellent! If you are heading for a sailing trip from here, the marina is only a 3-min walk!

Reception when we came in wasn't very friendly as the rest of the staff. But we could let that go!

Views, location, facilities, food, standard

very limited gluten free options and vegetarian options. I would recommend the chefs only eat gluten free or vegetarian from the menu for 4 weeks straight so they can understand just how limited the options are. Placing one token vegetarian option on the dinner menu isn't a great experience. There are so many gf options available, there really isn't any reason these days for there being so few gluten free options.

The position and view and pool area were spot on. Beautiful Unfortunately it was raining so we didn’t get to use the amazing pool area. The room we had, had a lovely bathroom with beautiful toiletries. Room being served daily was great. The breakfast included was great as was parking.

For the price and the luxury of the Resort I feel that it should maybe be a resort for over 12 years old. Little kids running up and down the corridor, slamming the room doors ect didn’t really make it a relaxing time. Our daughter who is older came with us so it’s not a negative on children.

The location, the vibe - it’s like being on your own island whilst looking out to the islands. We’ve stayed here a few times and love it every time

Not so much the property however there was $100 difference in a basic garden view ground floor room compared to the same room off season - that’s a quite a lot and also considering the breakfast included was a continental (which was nice) I think for the price you pay on or off season it should be a hot buffet breakfast type which I thought it was quite a while ago.
