Had an absolute wonderful time staying at the Mirage. The view from the room was excellent, the beds were super comfy, the rooms & full apartment was super spacious. Was super close to the main strip of town which was great! Everything we needed was already in the apartment which was great. The staff were helpful and wonderful + friendly! I must say, the complimentary buffet breakfast that came with the room was amazing! I would highly recommend staying at the Mirage for your next holiday at Airlie Beach!

I loved everything about the property, but I just wanted to mention that the toilet seat in the master bedroom was loose and kept moving while using & the water pressure was quite low. I’m not sure if this is in all rooms and is to keep everything eco friendly but I thought I would mention it.

The location is great with a nice pool Easy to get a taxi (13cabs) to go around but you need an Australian phone The bedroom was huge and very pleasant Apartment was very clean View was great

The building is getting a little bit old Had 2 cockroaches in the bedroom Kitchen and laundry products were minimal and for 2 nights, you don't want to buy everything...

The view from our 1 bedroom suite was really nice. It was really spacious. Everything was comfortable. They had the baby crib ready for us. We should have asked for a high chair! We didn't even know it had a washer and dryer too which is nice since we had a toddler with us. It's about a 25min walk into town with a baby stroller. But taxis are really easy to call and reserve. We had no problems getting around. The breakfast buffet was fantastic!!

It was a bit strange that our place didn't come with paper towels but only a couple of washcloths in the kitchen. We got the napkins from the cafe. This was not a big deal.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with ocean views, the room was spacious and layout was great, had everything you would need for long stay or family. Breakfast was fantastic with numerous options. Plenty of on site undercover parking, with easy access to rooms.

Advertising & charging for ocean views should really state “partial” ocean view, because we seen more buildings and pool area than ocean views. Was rather disappointing for the price paid for ocean views. The rooms need maintenance, while those are cosmetic, our room had damaged walls down to missing large chunks on gyprock corners. The balcony tiles were loose and lifted, and just placed down, some no longer held on with any adhesive. After busy days and needing a night in with dinner the onsite restaurant at dinner time food options are not great, and really doesn’t cater to many people, unfortunately neither was the smell coming from the area.

The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. The units were very comfortable and the views fantastic.

No lifts operating to the adults only pool, spa and gym. Making it impossible for older people and people with disabilities (even sore knees) to access these facilities as there are lots of extremely steep stairs to navigate. Even getting to breakfast, bar and other pool proved difficult for some. If it was raining you got wet. There was no mention of this when booking, and I was told the lifts have not been working for some time and they will not be fixed any time soon. Just a shame about the lifts, otherwise the Resort is amazing.

Loved the quietness of the area and the view over the water. We loved the marina walk and being able to explore the area too. The shuttle bus was great which we would use one way and walk the other, the staff were awesome and always happy and welcoming and pleased to talk to you. Great having restaurant there and we had some dinners there which were excellent and again staff so friendly.

Great selection for breakfast and it was all presented and prepared tastefully and always fresh. Staff were happy to help and were always working hard. Having a few other options of gluten free or dietary options woujd be a small suggestion such as gf cereal or bread options or dairy free milk/yoghurt would just make it better. But we both loved our breakfasts every day.

The apartment was so spacious and well equipped. We were impressed with everything from the huge balcony to the bath in the bedroom. The facilities on site were great too and there was plenty of choice for breakfast. There was easy access to the boardwalk and it only took about 15 -20 mins to walk into the Main Street which was quite pleasant in the evenings. The shuttle bus was brilliant, pity it doesn’t run in the evening too. The staff were lovely and we enjoyed some happy hour cocktails at the bar. The apartment was so quiet and we couldn’t hear our neighbours or anyone else outside so we slept really well! We really loved our apartment and the complex.

Spacious apartment with terrific views that was clean and quiet. Nice location close enough to Airlie Beach main st without being in amongst the busy tourist area. Friendly and helpful staff at reception and in the restaurant. We would definitely come back.

Breakfast was great but I agree with other reviewers that instant coffee not acceptable for a buffet breakfast in the last 20 years! Filtered coffee at least should be provided. Some maintenance work is needed around the property in the main pool and walkways etc to replace broken tiles.

Room was amazing.

Ordered room service and the restaurant was actually closed. They took my payment and order online . After an hour I called and got an answering machine . They said they were busy with customers when in fact the restaurant was closed and no one was there. The answering service staff were also unaware that the restaurant was closed and told me to keep trying to call them. Very unprofessional and just pure laziness on the management of the restaurant.

Our apartment was huge and catered for every eventuality. We could have cooked dinner every night in the fully equipped kitchen (but we didn't!). The views from the balcony were amazing, staff were helpful and the breakfast (included in booking price) was great. The pool area is well kept and there is plenty of sun loungers and cabanas available.

Although the location is good, it's about a 15 minute walk from the town centre. There is a courtesy bus running 3 times a day but it stops at 2PM. It would be much better is this bus carried on until about 6 or 7PM, enabling people to get into town for dinner.
