We were initially given The Pantry booking, but found that we were upgraded. Thank goodness. Friends were staying at the house section and they later showed us the Pantry. It would have been good for kids, but we were so pleased to get the upgrade. So much room and we were able to spread out. Used the microwave for our breakfast. So much nicer. Thank you for the upgrade

Some of the furniture was a bit wobbly (stools) and chairs in the house area. Maybe a maintenance check might be in order before an accident may happen. We are nurses so always looking at the safety aspect.

The place was incredible with great facilities and a very unique atmosphere. The views of the town and mountains from the summit are spectacular. Great place to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunset. The property had great facilities, we used the bbq and enjoyed a meal under the stars.

There is wifi but it is not free. However, there’s great mobile network coverage so it wasn’t really a necessity. The only thing missing was an iron box which I had just expected would be in the room. Otherwise, our stay was superb.

We had a family room which was lovely. It is in a lovely location with a great view. We had our own private kitchen and sitting area, plus we could go across to a larger common lounge room dining room and kitchen which has a proper oven. Our room/apartment was large, clean and modern with good towels and sheets. It was the nicest place we stayed on our holiday.

The information booklet said that at a sister property in the town they would be given directions to a great platypus viewing spot, it would have been nice if we had that info too

We liked the position and proximity to everything. However the book in process while was very efficient, we prefer the personal touch.

I felt for the size of the bedroom, the doors not sliding efficiently, the rotting timber in the shower, not enough pillows and blankets. It was overpriced. Entrance was dirty and not enough signage to tell guests where the rooms are. We were lucky another couple were leaving as we arrived, so they showed us what to do.

Large space, great faculties with everything supplied you could ever need, pool and spa were incredibly luxurious and the views of the mountains were second to none.

There was a crack in the bathroom and toilet windows which allowed bugs including ticks to gain entry to the ceiling in the toilet and bathroom, I had to pick a large tick off of my friend and eventually we found the source so just be wary of those little buggers when venturing around the retreat luckily bug spray was supplied in the apartment and they were quickly dealt with.

A spacious unit which easily accommodated 4 adults and 2 children. Pricing was very reasonable.

There are two 'The Summits' in Atherton both listed in Twelfth Street and the numbering isn't clear so we initially went to the wrong address but after a phone call, we found the right place, up a dirt track and high on the hill with a beautiful view and privacy. We would have liked dining chairs to be able to eat around the table and there were only 4 chairs for the outside dining table.

It was more than what I was expecting. For the price we paid we got a whole lot more. The apartment was larger than what we were expecting. The kitchenet had all the amenities for us to cook dinner so we didn't have to eat out. it was modern and updated. just had a very relaxing feel. the views were just incredible with rainforest walking tracks right out your front door. We will be staying here again but next time it will be for longer

We were told to park in our bay for our apartment however they were not numbered so we picked a parking bay right by the apartment.

This property gives guests a wonderful view of the town. The shared kitchen was very well set up and maintained. All the place was spotlessly clean. Such a lovely atmosphere. It was the first time we had stayed in a retreat like this and we found it such a great experience. Very quiet at night and lovely bushy atmosphere.

All the rooms except for one have internal ensuites. We had the one that has a private ensuite over the passage way. Some people with privacy issues could have been uncomfortable going through a public area to got to the bathroom.

The place was quite away from the city the other quest kept to themselves. The surrounding outside was beautiful and peaceful. The view was perfect. The neighbours had been blocked out by amazing trees. The bush turkeys were delightful to watch

The bed was a bit hard for my liking. I think the smoke alarms were in the wrong place, I had to be careful when I cooked my bacon and eggs and had to have the door and windows opened. The blind in the room let to much light in

This is a B & B. The house is massive, it had 3 bedrooms. Our room was the Majestic Room. This is the only room with its own patio area. We enjoyed views overlooking the town of Atherton. Bed was massive, huge King and very comfortable, with our own ensuite. The common areas, such as kitchen, dining and lounge were huge and extremely comfortable. Kitchen is very well appointed and outside is a large Weber BBQ. The outdoor patio and decks were beautifully set up. Breakfast was included in the price and consisted of a was a very generous continental breakfast. I loved the large open timber framed doors and how they slid back to reveal the outside. I would recommend this place to a couple or a large family who could book the whole house and enjoy what the property has to offer. It would make a great long Easter weekend getaway.
