Darra Motel & Conference Centre

The room was a good size, the bed was fantastic, like sleeping on a comfy pillow. The table was a good size for 2 people but an additional chair would have been useful, although a chair could have been brought in from the setting outside. The spa bath in the room was unexpected. The meals in the restaurant were good value for money and you could actually find the meals on the plate, and it was delicious. You will not go hungry. Staff are wonderful. Highly recommended.

Traffic noise but earplugs helped. My navigator sent us around the block, but once we found our way no issues at all. Not being familiar with Brisbane, but once familiar no worries at all.

We stayed there a week with my family for son's wedding. Loved and appreciated how cheap the rooms were for what they provided and it very much suited our budget. A great place, very friendly staff especially the manager on site, great food, very clean property, We stayed in 4 rooms with kitchens and so they very much suited our long stay. overall an excellent experience. highly recommended. I had the best bed lol, so I was told but it was true.

could modernize the shower area esp room 21 sorry but it needs proper partitions and no shower curtains

Breakfast was delivered to our room and they were big enough to feed 4 people. I ordered too much but loved our breakfast - actually loved every moment we stayed at Darra Motel. Absolutely loved the hospitality that was given by Paul and Tony...we were both well looked after by Paul, Tom and the team 100% satisfied with everything. Nothing everything was perfect

Located centrally close to shops and train station other facilities. Even though on the main road it was very quiet in the room for sleeping. The friendly staff and.extreemly clean rooms and facilities were outstanding 👌

There was nothing I didn't like, perfectly catered for.

Great location for what we needed it for and that was to be close to Durack Canine Grounds, easy drive. I love that I can have my dogs sleeping in the trailer close by to us in the truck parking area.

Probably the only thing I think needs upgrading is the toilet brush cleaner in the bathroom as it is all rusted.

Room was not cramped, there was the usual bench space but the added bonus was the kitchenette and also the addition or a comfortable chair. Gardens were bright colourful and well maintained. There is also room to park a motorhome or truck around the back. Restaurant gave you the option of Room Service and offered inside and outside seating

In this case ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. The management were friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Table and chairs outside room for smokers. The kitchenette was great. Unit wheelchair friendly.

More attention needed with cleaning i.e. wiping front and sides of cupboards and kitchen tiles. More attention to detail. Make sure that the crockery used by previous guest is clean

Breakfast was served early as requested and exactly as ordered. Facilities good. Bed very comfortable 3 pillows.

Nothing the motel could manage, but the traffic on highway continued all night. I found it disturbed my sleep. One thing management could address - the room clock was set on alarm which went off at 3.15am waking me . They need to check their room clocks before new customer.

The service we received was excellent. We had breakfast in the morning and the manager also cooks you breakfast. It was also excellent. The rooms were extremely clean. Will definitely go back there to stay, if we need to be around that part of town.

There was not anything we could fault.

First your greeted with a friendly manager who makes you feel like a royal. The rooms are really clean, beds are extremely comfortable and being a 6ft 2in bloke i could stand under the shower with no bending of my neck...(first time ever)... the chef cooked the best steak i have had in a very long time and my favourite they have fantails for free.😁 Cheap beers, food and accommodation... everyone wants that right? I rate this place 10/10 motels.. best one I've stayed at around Australia... honestly interstate truckie and I've stayed in heaps
