This otherwise excellent motel had two of my pet hates: a noisy extractor fan that came on when you turned the bathroom light on (quite chill air, too, especially at night); and a single sink so dishes had to be washed next to the toilet, and the jug didn’t really fit under the tap for refilling. The shower was just adequate - no adjustment mechanism on the shower head - and single taps rather than a mixer, so it was very difficult to get just the right temperature. But these are relatively less important than the overall comfort and space of the room.

Closeness to Garden City and public transport and within easy driving distance of where I had to go.

It’s looking tired. Small maintenance things needed to be attended to such as broken hook behind bathroom door. The inside of the microwave door was rusty and the door of the refrigerator had rust spots on the outside.

Location was great and despite being on a main road it was surprisingly quiet with very little traffic noise. The room was very spacious and well maintained.

The shower head constantly dripped when left in the overhead position. Eliminated the noise by hanging the shower head down near the base of the shower. One bed light wouldnt switch on.

Nice big room, beds were pretty comfortable. Easy to find and right across the road from mt Gravatt shopping centre.

The pool was great but they had fake grass around it which was mouldy and slippery. They would be better off getting rid of the fake grass to make the area might nicer and honestly safer to use

Clean, well-appointed. Two mini packs of cookies. Hairdryer. Milk pods in fridge. Toaster. Everything I needed in a motel room. Quiet even though pretty full. Close to food places.

Office carpet and windows need a clean to make a good first impression. I was worried, but luckily the rooms were well-presented.

The fridge was really cold and the glasses were already in the fridge. We enjoyed the cold beer.

We wanted to see more photos about the room before booking. For example, if we see the entire room photo from the entrance, we can tell what the room is like.

A light was broken in our room which was unable to be fixed during our stay which made using the kitchenette a little difficult but not insurmountable. The clothesline was in a poor state of repair but was still useable.

Comfort, cleanliness, close to buses and shopping centre just across the road. The owner was very helpful when I asked for a room further away from the road.

All good. I did see a couple of tiny cockroaches, but I mentioned it to the owner and I am sure they will deal with it
