My stay at Ibis Styles Brisbane was fantastic! The hotel's location is superb, with a mall, a supermarket, and plenty of delicious halal food options right next door. Additionally, there were numerous halal dining choices within walking distance. The hotel's proximity to the Queen Street bus station made exploring Brisbane incredibly convenient, allowing easy access to various parts of this beautiful city. What made my stay even more enjoyable was the friendly and helpful reception staff. They went above and beyond, even printing out Google maps to assist me in navigating the city (that happen before I knew that there are free city wifi everywhere, even when you're at the city!)

The room was a bit small for two people, making it somewhat cramped, especially when trying to find space for prayer. Secondly, the absence of complimentary drinking water in the room was unexpected and slightly inconvenient. These were the main aspects that stood out as areas where the hotel could make some improvements for a more comfortable guest experience.

The staff were so warm, friendly and accommodating. I was greeted with a smile everyday in the lobby, all my questions were answered with a smile and nothing was ever too hard for them. The facilities were fantastic and the restaurant/bar was beautiful. I looked forward to a breakfast there each day, the value for money for sensational and I cannot talk it up high enough! Already planning my next holiday down and to stay with there again.

The only thing I could say was the tv didn’t have Netflix but that’s nothing, all the boxes were ticked for me and I was very very happy with my stay.

I was very impressed with the room - small but everything that was needed. The view was amazing!

Upon check out, the staff member was charging me for parking - I gave her my work card and asked it to be charged on that, she said no problem. It wasn't until I was home I realised that she had charged my personal card that was put on the room for incidentals, and not my work card. I now have to apply for a work expense claim for this charge which is extremely inconvenient, not to mention that the staff member incorrectly processed the wrong card and failed to notice.

Choice of food for breakfast very good, chef and staff at breakfast always friendly and welcoming, very comfortable bed, rooms and dining area cleaned daily to a high standard, friendly cleaning staff, lift is fast, excellent views of city and river, hotel location in city very convenient and accessible.

Seating in reception and dining room not comfortable resembles more like cheap kindergarten furniture than giving the impression of comfort and style. Shelves with rows of jars of sweets behind breakfast / dining room bar is a waste of space and looks in poor taste. First two days staff at breakfast gave us a jug to pour soy milk, then following 4 days different staff at breakfast gave us a cup of soy milk for our cereal which does not pour well and spills over the table. Only one face wash towel provided for 2 people and no hand towel and no shower cap provided. Staff at reception are courteous but not welcoming appear to be more robotic in their answers than friendly towards guests - they could also smile occassionally.

All the above points regarding the location, room and bed was super

I did not like the gentlemen who was at the reception on the morning of 30th June. The ladies were excellent and should have more of them. I also sought a receipt for my stay for purposes of acquittals as required by my employer however even though I raised the matter with Sarah your CEO, she referred me to the Hotel IBIS direct yet Iam yet to get a response on the matter. Therefore I would already recommend a opening or link somewhere in the website for such matters to be addressed or receipts provided.

Breakfast was great. Good selection although I do prefer the individual vegemite/jam etc and they hard jars which was not appetising but I do appreciate less packaging is preferred in terms of environmental impact. Cannot fault the staff. Every staff member we came across was welcoming, friendly and kind without being over the top or intrusive. Room very clean and comfortable.

Bit of road/nightlife noise but that’s to be expected in the city. Maybe thicker curtains might help with noise reduction. Having said that, it did not impact sleep in any major way.

Stayed 3 nights…Location was excellent. Staff were very helpful and amenable. Restaurant room service was quick. Room was cleaned to a great standard. Comfy bed and pillow.

The noise over weekend due to loud music being played nearby until approx 11pm - trying to sleep after a long day of travelling and then walking etc. was annoying. Lack of shampoo and conditioner - thought this would have been a standard extra

The location was excellent, the beds very comfortable, rooms serviced after one night (we had a 2-night stay) probably not really required, but appreciated the coffee & milk being topped up. Car parking that was in the Myer car park next door to the hotel was discounted for guests, much appreciated. The first thing I noticed as we got out of the lift to the rooms was the wonderful smell - The complex/ rooms were very clean & smell great.

There was no hot water in the basin & I could not get the water cold enough for drinking. The shower rose needs to be able to be more flexible so you can direct to body only when you don't want to wash/wet your hair, as the rose was too high (no I am not short) We had to run the water in the shower for quite a few minutes to get the hot water flowing. The TV kept freezing & very hard to watch - not impressed to have to pay for wi-fi on top of room fee. We were not advised of any amenities available to guests.

Great location. Nice rooms, a little small but clean and had everything needed. It was great being able to use the free guest laundry too.

Our room at the front of the building was noisy in the evening due to the bands playing at the pub nearby, and it was hard to get to sleep. I asked in the morning if it was possible to get a quieter room but was told if it's too loud again in the room at night to let them know and they'd contact the pub to reduce the volume. Night 2, it was even louder, phone call didn't help. Night 3, I tried my luck by requesting a room change again when we returned in the evening as the music was so loud in the room. I spoke to a different staff member than the first time and they didn't hesitate to assist by quickly offering to show me an alternative room at the back of the building. Room was 💯 % quieter!! Not a great view but at least I could get a good night's sleep.
