The location was perfect and the room was spacious with everything I needed and more. The mattress and pillow were perfect for me and the shower was nice and hot. The motion lighting in the bathroom at night was appreciated. Aircon was great. My room was tucked away and quiet but I occasionally heard people in the hall.

There is no restaurant or bar inside the hotel but there is a cafe right next door. There was three steps inside the room. I couldn't close the curtains

Walking distance to bus station and Roma and Central stations. We stayed in the 1 bedroom apt and the Delux Queen room, both great size rooms with kitchen and washing and drying facilities in room. Wonderful when travelling around Queensland to come back to our base and have these facilities. A restaurant was on the ground floor which was well used. We made use of our kitchen for breakfast. Hotel centrally located walking distance to the arts precinct, Botanical gardens. We would definitely recommend.

Unable to turn off the air conditioning. Staff assisted in turning down the fan to reduce the noise. Signage by controls to not touch.

Central Location; Large room size; flexibility of having self meal prep if wanted. Cafe attached to building - great for all meal options and plenty of other restaurants/cafes and bars/pubs within easy walking distance. Relatively quiet given proximity to centre of the CBD. All of the various staff we encountered were friendly, courteous and efficient. The valet parking was first rate and very reasonably priced.

Bed could have been larger - especially given size and rates ($) of room. Bed also felt past use by date. Every movement of partner could be felt by other. Pillows also need to be improved. They varied from rock hard to lumpy and too thick. We all know pillow quality is a real sweetener for a good night's sleep. The hotel needs to revisit this aspect. Aircon whilst efficient was on the noisy side, especially in the quiet of overnight.

I have found our new Brisbane CBD luxury accommodation. Excellent customer service and friendly staff on arrival, the large reception area, stunning English feel, Royal Albert teaware is all around you, deluxe suite is absolutely massive, large windows, in-room laundry facilities, a minibar with a wide range of refreshments, stocked fridge, beautiful long bathroom, pillow top mattresses, the room is spotless, fresh, warm and inviting. On-site elevated stacker parking (F&F Tokyo Drift) for smaller cars, though our large truck was best parked at the Myer Centre, all of this for a great price! Walk out the front reception area, to a wonderful cafe, eatery onto the street to a ladies make-up store (perfect) Location is directly opposite the Myer Centre and our favourite Beach Resort. Love it! Well done Royal Albert Brisbane 50 stars

Being in the heart of Brisbane, the location is fantastic for a city stay. You can walk to wherever you want to go. We were pleasantly surprised with the "room", it was more spacious than expected which made for a very enjoyable stay. Having separate bedrooms was a bonus. The beds and the couch are very comfy. The kitchen facilities are more than enough to be able to cook a lovely meal, that is of course if you don't want to go out to the many restaurants available close by. The character of the building was also very appealing to us, it has that charm of yesteryear.

My son did complain that he didn't have a TV in his room, not that we minded.

fantastic location . beautiful rooms, very large and with antique style furnishings. Bathroom was beautiful. Extremely comfortable and super quiet. Fantastic cafe downstairs. Stunning lobby and entrance.

Curtains didn’t shut properly. Poor wifi . Unable to turn on FOXTEL. Not big issues with me though.

Excellent Location. The Royal Albert is our Hotel of choice when staying in the CBD.

Wifi Internet access is poor, difficult to logon, and slow. This has been an ongoing problem for a couple of years and there has been no noticeable improvement. Unacceptable in 2022 and likely to cause loyal clients to look elsewhere especially those of us that come to the city to work. Staff are always apologetic but management don't seem to see it as a priority.

Old-fashioned [from the inside and outside looks like a glance from the fifties to the Art Deco age, but with modern shower & kitchen facilities]. I stayed in an one-bedroom apartment that had a slightly strange (but pleasant) plan, as it had parts on different sub-levels [kitchen at the entrance was three steps above the living room and everything else, but the service room also was 4 steps above the corridor -- I actually liked it, but this will be unsuitable for people with a limited mobility]. The restaurant Mondial at the ground level serves very nice dinners (tried they special and liked it) , beers on tap and appetizingly looking breakfasts (cannot comment) . The kitchen is well-equipped. The stuff responded very quickly.

My only complain is that there are multiple wifi networks that none was really fast.

The Royal Albert is very conveniently placed in central Brisbane. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lots of people, like us, wanted to store their luggage for a while on check out, and although space was limited, the staff were more than willing to oblige. The hotel has an associated street side café at the exit which provided great coffees and breakfasts.

The Royal Albert is a very historic building and whilst our room was very spacious and clean, it was definitely quite dated in décor. Not a significant problem.

Fabulous hotel right across from the Myer Centre. It's vintage luxurious, understated and very comfortable. We stayed in a two bed apartment and were pleasantly surprised at the size and amenities - beautiful marble bathroom with complimentary toiletries, well-equiped kitchen and comfy beds. So many restaurants and cafes to choose from close by. The staff were so helpful as well, even let us remain parked for a few hours after after checkout so we could do some shopping (because they had the availability - note that the carpark is quite small, but it is fully valet). They really could not do enough for us. We will be back.
