Oaks Brisbane Festival Suites

Stayed before and staff as friendly and helpful as always. At least for the kids this time the foxtel worked.

This time the overall 2 bed room was a little on the small side for a family of 5 requiring a roll away bed I know the rooms aren't absolutely huge anyway but this particular one you couldn't fit the roll away bed in the kids bedroom like before so its not a moan or to detract from the hotel just a mention. Also just a mention the shower in the en-suite low pressure and a millimeter of movement on the tap had the water either cold or to hot but the shower in the other bathroom was great.

We stayed in a Executive 2 Bedroom Apartment on the 39th floor . Good views of the city and parts of Brisbane river. Beds were comfortable. Staff were fantastic and attended to our issues immediately. Great service. . Easy access by lift to parking space. Excellent location in Brisbane city.

We paid $600 per night for this room plus $ 39 per night for parking. When we entered the room on first day the aircon was not working and the room was extremely hot. This was fixed immediatey after we contacted reception. The next issue we had was the cuttlery provided was stained and dirty . You would not expect that sort of cuttlery even in the cheapest motel. This was replaced immediately after we complained to reception staff. When you pay $600 per night you expect a high standard of quality from Oaks. We were disappointed with the quality control checks done in our apartment prior to our stay.

• Great location - close to everything (queen st mall, shops, restaurants and a nice stroll to Southbank in less than 10 minutes. • Kids loved the pool, gym and sauna. • Scooters were close by and easy to locate incase you didn’t want to walk to your destination lol. • The staff during our stay were so welcoming! The pm staff who created the Easter egg hunt for our kids - thank you so much! They loved it and kept going down for more hehe. • Washing machine & dryer worked a wonder with all our washing! • Shower amenities smelt amazing and wide showers! • Requests met by staff - thank you! • Bed was comfortable! • Views from the various rooms we had was amazing!

• Unfortunately the spa was not hot enough to call it a spa. The main pool was warmer than the spa! Did inform staff on check out though so hopefully when we return, it’ll be hotter! • The air con felt like it wasn’t reaching the rooms when the doors were closed so had to keep the doors open to feel the coldness from the air con. • Bbq seating area was small with only one table area to eat - just for large families, may need a larger eating area. • The tv in the ensuite room was so small with no Netflix (3409).

the old Indian lady who must have been our neighbor who lives their full time, either underneath our room or beside us who decided to knock on the door and swear at us in front of my 2 year old who was crying because she was fully on yelling and asked us what that dragging noise was (which was the table on the deck because we took one photo next to thw window which look over the brisbane river) and that we need to be quiet we dont live here. Than went on to tell me that we are useless young fuckwits who are noisy. So i told her to go back to where she came from

The apartment was very spacious and clean. The heated pool was a bonus and loved by the kids. The location was perfect for walking around the CBD, visiting the botanical gardens, and walking to Suncorp Stadium for the Women's World Cup! The staff were very helpful and accommodated every request, e.g. late check out, room with a bath, twin beds set up for the kids.

The shower in the main bathroom was low pressure, but the en suite shower was great. There was no TV in the master bedroom, which would have been nice. The kids had a TV in their twin room however.

Central hotel which is easy to get to from the airport. The apartment was very big and comfortable. The laundry machine in the room was super convenient too! Absolutely loved the pools on the 4th floor. They have very long opening hours too which was nice as well. The view from there was amazing too. The staff was friendly and great as well.

Unfortunately, most of the time the internet connection was very slow, and I was only available to connect in certain places inside the apartment.

Location is central to everything, its a walking distance to the food court and other supermarkets like Coles. I also like the place because right at the ground is Starbucks Coffee. I think its just so great for me.

Room was close to the central Garbage removal system & it sinks, i suggest we find ways to neutralize the smell every now and then because you can smell it from the room. This is quite disgusting

Fantastic apartment for our family of 4. We were here for a holiday from Perth. With high ceilings the rooms were very spacious & each had access to the courtyard area. We were on the same level as the pool & outdoor area which was perfect for the kids to take a swim each day. Location was perfect, walking distance to everything including the bridge over to Southbank. Had everything we needed including good food/family restaurants & there was a Starbucks & little grocer located downstairs. Was located a short walk to the airport train & also the train to Surfers/Gold Coast. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Our kids really enjoyed their stay & wanted to stay longer. Would definitely stay here again & highly recommend it!

Property was spacious and clean. We had four people per apartment and I was delighted to have both an en-suite and bathroom, made getting ready in the morning a lot easier! Bedrooms and living area had plenty of room and we appreciated having a large fridge, kitchen area etc. The staff were very accommodating whenever we spoke to them. I also loved the pool/BBQ area and wish we had time to take more advantage of it!

I would have liked to have been offered fresh towels each day.

Good little unit with a balcony, self contained and with everything you'd need for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and let me check in early after a long flight. I didn't use the pool or gym, but they looked good. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. Wifi was pretty good. An ideal base for a few days.

Difficult to find fault, but the particular unit I was in was pretty close to the neighbouring buildings so privacy wasn't perfect, but it wasn't an issue for me.
