Amazing views, well maintained, spacious, felt homely, great customer service before and during stay, helpful having laundry facilities in house and undercover parking, very quiet during day and at night.

- For the price, it would be nice if basics like loo paper, washing up soap, bin bags etc. were included. - The 2 pools are quite small and difficult for more than one family to be in the area. - We were a party of 6 people but the lounge area only has seating for 4 people. Not a huge issue but could have been comfier.

Wonderful ocean view. Bed linens were nice and well chosen for the climate. Local birds, Currawongs, Butcher Birds and Kookaburras came for hand feeding each day which was magical and the perfect balm for a homesick expat. Friendly staff and residents. Quiet and felt very private. Peaceful, low key beach town.

Mattress was supportive but could probably use an upgrade and a topper for better pressure relief. Could not work out how to get to free to air channels and was stuck with foxtel which was unpleasant, brief instructions would have been useful for those unused to Australian cable. Could not stream from devices as original television remote was nowhere to be found and could not initiate permissions from TV side.

I was in room 44 and it was on the second floor with a great view of ocean from the living room, bedroom and balcony. The apartment was super clean and recently renovated. This time of year the weather is also great up in Sunshine coast. If you like a tranquil area with ocean view, it is the spot to go.

Road noise is a bit annoying when you sit in the balcony but nothing can be done about it especially during public holidays. It is tolerable though and you barely hear it when you are indoor. The only two minor things: mattress quality was poor you could feel the firm springs on your back. Also no toothpaste was provided for our two nights stay.

This is a stunning apartment, with a fabulous view. We saw whales breaching from our balcony, which excited us to no end. We enjoyed the short stroll into Coolum and the nearby beautiful beaches and walks. We were in close driving distance to Noosa National Park. The apartment has everything you could need.

Only a very minor thing - a fitted sheet rather than a flat sheet over the mattress would have made the lovely bed linen even more comfortable.

The Point at Coolum Beach was superb for our 7-night stay. We had a wonderful view out over the ocean (the whales were migrating North!!) and it was quiet and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, and the linen was spotlessly clean. Our apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and it was spotlessly clean. We would certainly stay there again.

View. Space. Location. Staff were most friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable! Well equipped kitchen which was great over Christmas. Bus stop is at the entrance. Walks nearby are breath-taking!

Sofa and lounge furniture in our apartment were uncomfortable - a little past their use-by date. You had to hire beach/pool towels.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in apartment 44, which was lovely and very well equipped. We loved being able to come home from the beach and put all the dirty swimming gear straight in the washer and dryer, ready for the next day. The bed was very comfy. The ocean view from the very large balcony was wonderful.

The pools were a little uninspiring, but that's okay when the beach is so close and the surf not too rough at Coolum for leisure swimmers.

Amazing location, amazing apartment. We stayed at The Point before, but this time we had the 3 bedroom apartment with stunning ocean views. The heated swimming pool was a hit with the kids and the beautiful secluded beach right in front is so so beautiful.

The Point is just outside the town centre, so to get coffee we drove as it was a little bit too far for the kids to walk.

1st floor two bed unit had distant water views through the trees, well equipped with everything needed for a short/long stay. Heated pool was a bit of a steep walk away. Nice coastal walk opposite to main part of Coolum. Large modern bathroom. Very comfortable.

Stairs to room can be a nuisance when carrying multiple bags. Lower floor apartment so units are above.

Our accommodation included a large balcony with a beautiful view over the ocean. It was roomy, very well presented and provided all of the comforts of home including a much-appreciated washer and drier. I am very happy that I booked 3 nights in Coolum Beach because it was a convenient location from which to explore the Sunshine Coast. I am also very happy that I booked The Point Coolum because it is a stylish complex and it is in a serene location that is slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre.
