Location is excellent, short walk to shops, beach, clubs and local brewerys. Very quiet, undercover parking and we were lucky enough to check in early as our room was ready. Checkin was easy and all the staff we met were very friendly. Our beds were very comfortable, our room was quite spacious and the shower was hot with excellent pressure.

A box of tissues would be a nice touch. Getting up the stairs with a heavy suitcase isn't welcomed, but that goes with the type of property. Not a huge problem but, if you're getting on a bit in age, book a ground floor room.

Finding the place was easy, check in was easy and the staff pleasant. We had an upstairs room, with a sunny aspect and a bit of a view. The room itself was a good size, and even though the main road is fairly close, we heard no traffic noise. The pool looked clean and well-tended, but unfortunately we had no time to try it. The Pacific Fair shopping centre is just up the road, with its EV charging station - conveniently close for us.

We couldn't find much to criticise - the door was a bit stiff, and we had noisy neighbours one night (not that the resort can do anything about that) but there's not anything else worth mentioning.

Clean Room

We booked through Booking .com for the 7th of May - 1 night when we went there I didn't have a room for us - Told us, they could find our booking We went after hrs around - 5:15 - and waited until 6:20 for someone to arrive and help us, until then we were sitting outside - it was a rainy cold day. wondered how come they couldn't find the booking ?? Booking .com ? - answer me

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the family room we were in was not cramped and had a little balcony which was nice. The pool and spa was very clean and well maintained. Lots of parking and never struggled to find a spot. Despite being right on the highway we didn't hear any traffic noise. The beach, shops and some nice cafes were in walking distance.

We didn't dislike anything; it is basic accommodation but you know that going in, and it is reflected in the lower price you pay compared to other motels in the same area. We would happily stay here again on any future trips

The room was clean and the staff were absolutely lovely and helpful.

The noise, I am sorry to have to day this b I t the neighbours of the property having parties and the noises from each room travelled. I am a heavy sleeper and I woke multiple time to people flushing there toilets, showers running, coughing, people coming home and slamming doors at all hours, babies crying and just general people talking Loved everything else though. The curtains don't leave any protection for light as the hall lights are on all night beaming into the room over curtains and underneath the doors, it's very bright sadly.

The location was very good for us, being close to family at Varsity Lakes. It was also just a short walk to a nice restaurant and other shops. The under cover parking was a bonus. The lady in the office was very nice and helpful. It was also very quiet, clean and comfortable.

The bathroom door was a bit hard to shut and the wardrobe was hard to open. There was only one towel rail in the bathroom and no hooks for clothes!

Wow! Thank you so much for the upgrade to a double room. This was literally a last minute booking due to forecasted weather. Thought camping would not cut it. The room was great. Everything required. Absolutely loved the location. 350m from Coles and walking distance to other eateries. Loved the fact we could also catch a bus then tram to the main shopping areas in Surfer’s. Booking this accommodation saved our Splendour trip. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for everything. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay again.

No complaints except for weather the first two days.

Did not have breakfast. Quiet clean comfortable premises. All the amenities I required for this trip. Close to area I needed to be for the visit. Great that toaster and microwave available in room. Handy to shops.

Not many power points. We carried a power board so not inconvenienced. Stairs were an issue with our luggage, but only required to do it once.

Rooms very clean with good number of facilities. Beds very comfortable. Plenty of parking space. Great location to beach and shops. Plenty of space to place cases and travel bags. Overall more positives with this Motel. Staff friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Rooms not sound proof as rather noisy with other guests walking past rooms. Did not like the sitting chairs as they screeched (noisily) on the tiled floor when moving them, not comfortable at all. If you sat down on them with food at the long bench the TV was too high so not practical. Room a bit pricey than expected.
