Location, comfort, deck, BBQ and view. All very pleasing. I found it all relaxing. A lovely villa complex next to a flowing creek (Obi Obi) with lots of wildlife. Quiet. Clean. Cozy. Sound value for money. I’ll probably be back in the future.

Breakfast was rather basic. Not really worth paying for (it was complementary on the first morning, but no doubt it contributes to a slightly higher accommodation rate). Would recommend either a more significant complementary breakfast (not just forgettable sourdough, jam and yogurt), or revert back to cheaper rate with no breakfast provided (which I think was the status during the previous two times I stayed here; most recently in Oct 2022.). Coffee was pod-only (why?) and the pod coffee machine produced cold-to-tepid coffee at best. Not a good way to start the day. Coffee pods are inefficient and less sustainable than other methods (create a relatively large amount of waste). We were only given 5 pods for two people for two days. Three of the five pods were decaffeinated.

Location was fab and not to far a walk to the main streer, scenery was superb

Location was great. Lovely and quiet. We were greeted by the owner on arrival (even though we had contactless check in so it was a nice surprise). There was everything we needed in the villa for a kid free getaway. And the place was within walking distance for anything else we may have needed. The jet bath was lovely. And with a view!

The bed was comfy enough for a two night stay but every time the other person moved in the bed, I felt it. I also found the fact that the place moved when we walked about very disconcerting! Maybe because it was up on stilts?

I absolutely loved staying at Ttranquil Gatways on Obi Maleny. I will definitely go back if I can and I highly recommend for everyone who wants refill their positive energies or have a relaxing rejuvenating time. The view from the balcony is exceptionally beautiful! You can see all the animals living in the crystal clear creek water😄

Very clean with everything you need Great view of creek from our balcony Saw a platypus within 10 minutes of arriving and again the next morning. Short walking distance to great eating venues and markets Hosts go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Loved the flowers and card for our anniversary and the fire pit.

Breakfast was included in our stay,.fresh local.priduce was amazing!! Sitting on the balcony looking at the creek with platypus in it was perfect! All the little things included in the room was great, salt and pepper ,netflix even air freshener in the bathroom. The spa had a beautiful view and we could walk to get dinner or supplies !!

Beautiful location, super friendly and helpful management who provide easy self check in. Spa bath is awesome with view onto the obi river. Lovely welcome basket on arrival. Super comfy bed, nice self contained kitchen! Dedicated undercover parking,

Only MINOR thing I could think of was that the cooling/heating unit seemed a bit old but on a crisp morning it still warmed up the lounge area very well.

We loved the location, the beautiful creek, trees and bird life. There was a lovely balcony that looked out to the creek it was so relaxing. The location is great u can walk to shops and there was a lovely Italian restaurant we had dinner at, both nights.😊

It’s not something that u can change but the bats are sometimes very noise especially at night. So if u are a light sleeper then this may be something to think about. I was ok to deal with it because the location is so good.

Excellent location by the banks of the Obi river yet only 5 minutes walk to the town's main street and to supermarkets and cafes. The "cabin" was beautifully quiet at night and the bats in the trees along the Obi river mean you don't need an alarm clock to wake up!

Overall the facilities are very good. The only negative was that the sofa in the living room of our cabin, which is clean and looks good, could be improved to provide better lumbar support.

Tranquil Getaways on Obi Maleny perfectly lives up to its name. Situated close to the main street yet far from the hustle and bustle, it embodies a serene atmosphere. Upon entering, you immediately feel a wave of positivity. Our stay was amazing, and we're eager to return for another delightful experience.
