Terry and Julie have done an amazing job with this gorgeous and romantic getaway destination. We were given helpful tips about where to go for meals and entertainment during our stay. We stayed in the Calm Cottage. This was a beautiful cottage with fireplace, huge comfortable bed, a very well appointed kitchen, a huge gorgeous bathtub on the back deck, as well as a huge double shower and twin basins in the bathroom. There were fairy lights over the back deck that overlooked a huge canopy of trees. Sitting in the bathtub was a perfect way to view the stars and even though the temperature outside was cold, it didn’t affect the bathtub experience. Things like a four burner stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee station and a full-size fridge made for a comfortable stay. Where we could choose to cook or not. We will absolutely put this at the top of our where to stay for the future. It was pretty close to perfect for a romantic getaway for our Anniversary.

The only negative was that it had to come end.

From the moment we arrived at the luxury cottage in Maleny for my birthday weekend, we knew we were in for a treat. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, engaging us in delightful conversations, sharing his in-depth knowledge of the area, and introducing us to the vibrant Maleny community. His recommendations for local attractions and eateries were spot-on, adding a personalized touch to our adventure. The cottage itself was a haven of comfort and luxury. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to enhance our stay, from the cozy interiors to the stunning landscape surrounding the property. Waking up to the scenic views each morning was a highlight, reminding us of the unique beauty of the Sunshine Coast. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the exceptional hospitality shown by Terry. His dedication to his guests is remarkable, and it's hosts like him that transform a simple getaway into a memorable journey. We wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in Maleny. Whether it's for a special occasion or a much-needed break, you can rest assured that you're in for an extraordinary experience. Thank you, Terry, for making my birthday weekend unforgettable. The view was absolutely stunning and the bed was super comfortable .All the devour / painting and images were a very fun touch and made us both smile it was all very cute and lovely

The only thing that made it a bit upsetting was the spa it was a huge draw to why we booked the place but every time the jets were turned on a large amount of gunky stuff came out.we were told to turn them on and leave for ten mins then drain and clean we did this 3 times and in the end just used the spa without the jets cause the cleaning was to much as I'm pregnant and my partner has a bad back .And also you don't really book a place to have to clean it 😕

The property was absolutely beautiful and modern, spotlessly clean and tidy. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, duvet very warm with extras provided. The deck bath tub was huge and perfect for two people to share, surrounded by mood lighting, perfect for a romantic get away. The view was breathtaking, providing different landscapes at different times of the day. We loved this property!

Great location. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. AMAZING views. And the outdoor bath was a delightful surprise! Perfect getaway location to relax, recharge and reset the body, mind and spirit. LOVED sitting outside - watching and listening to the birds, taking in the mountains and sky, and feeling my whole body exhale.

Only thing I wasn't a fan of were the mozzies! But then I discovered that the hosts have thoughtfully catered for that too - with mozzie coils and spray (in the cupboard under the sink) - so it didn't actually end up being an issue.

The location is great overall. You get beautiful views and its seclusion is amazing as you get little to no noise aside from the sound of nature. The cabin is brilliant with lots of great features including the bath spa and outdoor baths. That combined with the cold weather allowing us to have a nice fire going was great. The owners are very accomodating and knowledgable and give great ideas on things to do in the area.

Only the weather as it did rain more than not. No ones fault of course. Otherwise nothing that are the responsibility of the owners.

Stunning location, the cottage was quiet, cosy and beautifully renovated. Loved the bath on the deck and the fireplace. Was the perfect weekend away for our Anniversary. Terry was super helpful and had some great recommendations for things to do in the area. We will definitely be booking again!

We loved our few days at the cottage. The views were amazing and lying in the bath in the early morning was spectacular. A very charming and relaxing start to the day. Seeing the stars laid out before you at night was very special.

Gorgeous location. Incredibly private. Friendly and knowledgeable host. Spotlessly clean. Everything you need for an amazing stay. Close to Maleny town but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.

It was a beautiful location, clean, comfortable, just.right for a getaway. The tub on the deck was a delight to soak in and enjoy the view. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway.
