Everything about The Falls is amazing. Alan and Aryna are amazing hosts, making sure that the cottage has everything catered for with some special touches that were totally unexpected. The provisions for breakfast were plentiful and locally sourced which made them so much more delicious, and the addition of a home made pastry was a nice touch! The location is so very peaceful and the cottage was the perfect size that there was no need to leave except we wanted to explore the falls and also Montville. The fire was the perfect size to keep the cottage warm and cozy and the bed was comfortable.

Nothing, the place is amazing

We loved everything about our stay. The cottage was large, comfortable and well supplied with provisions for our three day stay. Bed was super comfy and the rural views fantastic. Nothing was a problem for our host- Allan. Whilst it rained just about the whole time we were there, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. We even enjoyed the port left for us as a nightcap and the breakfast provisions were fantastic. Each morning we had a smiling face arrive at our door with freshly baked pastries.

Our stay was fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Alan our host from lifts to restaurants or reception made coffees. The bacon and eggs provided in our fridge for us to cook each morning was scrumptious but the daily freshly delivered croissants or danishes were superb. Our fridge was also stocked with milk, orange juice and yoghurts. Thankyou

The room was very clean and well looked after. Upon arrival Alan explained where to park and offered to carry our bags down to our cottage. He showed us how to put the fire on, the heated towel rail in the bathroom, breakfast supplies in the fridge and told us that a fresh loaf of bread would arrive later that afternoon. Fresh croissants the first morning of our stay and fresh danishes the second morning made for a beautiful breakfast. The decanter of port and chocolates waiting for us was also a beautiful touch. Alan and his wife definitely want all guests to enjoy themselves and we will be finding another weekend to stay again.

Very friendly hosts, lovely atmosphere, great breakfast and loved the fresh baked danishes. The cabins were romantic with fresh flower, chocolates and port. Beautiful fireplace with heaps of wood, large bathroom with wall in shower, spa bath was amazing with bubble bath. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. This was the cleanest place we have ever been and I’m very picky as I’m a professional cleaner 5 stars guys!!!

There wasn’t much not to like but maybe some blinds for the veranda as it was very windy when we started, the TV could be a bit higher so you can lay down to watch a movie and our cereal packs were out of date but not the end of the world.

500m walking distance to Kondalilla Nat Park and falls walking track. Extremely well-supplied room including breakfast provisions ++, spa and robes, fireplace, and other treats. Bed, pillows and lounge were very comfortable. Private cottages nestled amongst forested hillside. Tulipwood Cottage had it's own yellow wren visiting each day. Kookaburras galore. We also walked to Kondalilla Restaurant for a superb dinner. Hosts Alan and Aryna are generous with their hospitality and time. Very much enjoyed our conversations with Alan, who shared wonderful life stories. Not at all far from Montville and Flaxton. Very well rested and recharged during our time at The Falls.

Nothing to dislike. Good mobility needed to access the cottages via wooden boardwalk, which can be slippery after rain.

We loved our stay at The Falls Montville. Alan & Aryna are the most friendliest & obliging hosts we have ever had, they went above & beyond. Tasteful, clean & well appointed cottage. We stayed in the TULIPWOOD Cottage. Everything you need is within cottage, you could stay there & not leave. Private & tranquil setting. Breakfast was wonderful for 2 adults. Bacon, eggs, tomato, mushrooms, loaf fresh sourdough bread, bottle juice & bottle milk. Fruit on plate in fridge, cereal & muesli available, local yoghurt, spreads, coffee instant & plunge coffee, tea. Each morning we were supplied with freshly cooked pastries, (1st morning was croissants, & 2nd morning fruit pastries), AMAZING! All complimentary & part of our stay. Complimentary Decanter of Port with chocolates. Spa bath plenty of room for 2 adults, bubble bath included (no need to bring your own), candles to burn near spa. Fluffy robes to wear whilst there. Deck to sit outside, with small Webber BBQ that you can use. (Each cottage has their own). Lovely walk along a wooden boardwalk to get to cottage. People who may not be as stable on their feet may find the boardwalk a little harder to use. I'm in my 50's & husband in early 60's & we had no problems at all. We enjoyed the little walk through the canopy of the trees listening to the birds along the way. Be advised that Alan (the host) will assist with taking your luggage down to your cottage. (He is just so helpful). Whilst there Alan showed us & gave us information on the cottage. There is Wifi, & phone connection, but now & then the line dropped out. Otherwise OK. Beautiful place & beautiful hosts. We are definitely going back. We are already checking our diaries.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. We loved our time at The Falls Montville.

Every need was catered for in our cosy cabin. We enjoyed tranquillity and comfort & the hospitality of our hosts. The generous breakfast provisions were all we could ask for & the warm croissants delivered each morning we're a special treat. There was plenty of wood for the fire, while the spa added a touch of luxury.

Although necessary access for the secluded bush setting, as seniors we found the steep board walk to the cabin a bit challenging, however host Alan was ever ready to assist with luggage.

The hosts are wonderful and go the extra mile to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Fresh pastries delivered each morning, little extras like fresh cut roses in the room. Well stocked fridge with breakfast foods, plunger coffee, fresh bread. Chocolates and port on the coffee table. They pride themselves on the quality of the stay.

What wasn’t explained in the booking.com description was the on site parking is away from the cottages. There’s a substantial walk from the car to the cottage on a boardwalk. The hosts take your luggage down to the cottage and back up to your car at the end of the stay. It’s a beautiful boardwalk through rain forest so more of a treat than an imposition but the walk back up to the car when going out could be difficult for anyone of low fitness or disability. I think this should be explained before someone books.

We loved our stay at The Falls at Montville. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Lovely cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay including extras such as fresh roses, port and chocolates and croissants and pastries delivered to our door in the morning. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Loved the fireplace and the spa bath in our cottage.
