Country Rose Motel Warwick

it was very clean and well maintained. A lot of thought had gone into the “little things” that make a lot of difference. Of all the motels we stayed in over a 10-day trip the Country Rose was far and away the most comfortable, welcoming and well presented. Les, whom we met at reception, was friendly and helpful and had clearly made a lot of changes to the motel in the two years he has been there to update the rooms and facilities. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Country Rose to anyone wanting to stay in Warwick.

It is bounded by a major road which takes a lot of traffic including heavy trucks.

The owner of the Motel was wonderful. Very welcoming and helpful prior to arrival and during our stay. We were also travelling with our Jack Russell which was not a problem (we had let him know prior to arrival which I strongly recommend). The room was lovely and spacious with plenty of room for luggage and even a small table and chairs. The little kitchen had everything you would need for a short stay including crockery and cutlery (glasses and cutlery were individually wrapped which made you feel safe). Very good Covid safety in place including hand sanitizer as you enter the room. The Motel is on a busy highway, therefore road noise is unavoidable, however we still had a good nights sleep so that is saying something. There is a small, fenced pool onsite (far too cold for us at the time) which would be great in summer for a quick cool off. The gardens a lovely and well cared for. There was a grassed area just near our room which was perfect for puppa to have a little walk around and sniff. Would happily stay here again.

The only minor feature that I would change and I would not be surprised if it was not already on the 'to do list' for the new owner is the air-conditioner. It is the older style box aircon and of course they are pretty clunky and noisy. Did drown out the road noise I suppose but I feel a quiet air-conditioner would finish off the room nicely.

Reception was very accommodating for us getting there late at night and the room was warm and lights were on for our arrival. Garden was beautiful!

My partner is a very light sleeper and there was some noise from the nearby road early in the morning. It was no issue for me. A very minor thing for the convenient location.

Well run and maintained, neat as a pin, friendly staff. Nice touches like car windscreen washing provisions. Bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Clean. Larger fridge than usual, appreciated.

Worst aspect - road noise from trucks. Nearby motel has a big fence, would help. Aircon noise not an issue if you pre-cool the room and turn it off before sleeping.

Very friendly guy ! Place was spotless and a good layout of the place with a bathroom. Good supply of coffee and tea , bikkies etc. Beautiful bed and clean sheets. I will definitely stay there again! Highly recommended ! Thank you !

Les allowed us to use his laundry for 2 loads of washing at absolutely no charge. Room was very well appointed. Hot water shower was exceptional.

Some truck noise from the highway at early hours of the morning, but it did not bother us.

The Country Rose Motel was exactly what I needed for an overnight stay in Warwick for work purposes. I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail to ensure that guests feel valued and important to the business. I will readily stay at the Motel in future and would highly recommend it to others.

Staff were amazing and very accommodating, we had an unexpected extended stay and they were more than happy to assist us with a discounted rated

Les is the man!! Anything he can help with he does so u can’t ask for more than that.

The only thing he can’t fix is the location on the highway but it didn’t worry us at all so all good

Very clean and comfy room. Kitchenette had all the bells n whistles. Great pool and lovely gardens. We would definately stay here again.
