The cabins are pretty and not too close together. The setting is lovely with boulders and woodland to wander through. We loved the fireplace and forest feel of the cabin.

Restaurant/ bar should stay open every night, especially when it’s fully booked. It kills the atmosphere to have nothing going on last 5 pm. Breakfast was nice, but the muesli packs were quite small. I think the addition of a pastry or yogurt would make the breakfast better, especially considering the price tag. It’s difficult to fill the kettle as there is only a bathroom basin. It would be great to see the addition of a sauna or hot tub!

Beautiful cosy suites/cabins. Fully self-contained and very private. Ultra quiet and only the sounds of the bush at night. Private courtyard/verandah. Loved the ambience and the wood fire in the lounge area perfect. It was a chilly night so we lit it up and it warmed the entire place perfectly. Very friendly staff on reception and in the bar. Wish we had several nights here and not just one. Such a lovely place to explore Stanthorpe, the wineries, and all the local attractions. Satisafactory continental breakfast in the morning.

Noting at all. Everything was to expectation or exceeded.

Our cabin was nestled amongst bush land & beautiful granite boulders that really made us feel like we were in our own little world, even though we were only minutes away from Stanthorpe City. We loved the breakfast hamper filled with local produce & the selection of DVDs that allowed us to share our favourite ‘old’ movies with the kids. The cabin was clean & cosy, perfect for our two night stay. The staff were friendly & welcoming.

It was unfortunate that the restaurant was closed on all the nights we stayed. The wifi was also very slow, but that is only a minor point,

Restaurant atmosphere and food was good. Close to town. Quiet relaxing environment. Cabin was nicely laid out and spacious.

Aircon fan was very noisy at any level above minimum. Needs servicing. Freezer hasn't been defrosted for a while. Couldn't get ice tray out or put anything in due to ice buildup. Mattress must have been purchase second-hand from a monastery, definitely caused a little suffering.

I got a one-bedroom cabin for my stay. It was great and had the essentials for a short getaway (TV, kitchenette, microwave, kettle, essential cutleries, mini refrigerator). There was also a fireplace in the cabin (it was set up beforehand so you only need to light a match to use it and there's some wood fire allocated) which was awesome as the night got pretty cold. The staff was amazing, very friendly, and super helpful. There was also a small selection of DVDs to borrow free of charge to watch in your cabin (the TV has a built-in DVD player). The restaurant and food were ok, although the food service was a bit slow. Parking on-site is available and free of charge.

Cute cabins with wood fire place inside. Tranquil and quiet amongst the trees. Great shower with very hot water for cold days. Good heater in the room too. Very clean and well maintained. Nice breakfast box. Easy access to the brewery for a drink and a meal.

We arrived later in the afternoon and did not have kindling left for us (as it was meant to be) to start the fire when it was a very cold night. Pillows very hard and uncomfortable. Be aware there is only a kitchenette which is slightly inconvenient for longer stays.

The staff went above and beyond to help accommodate me with work and they were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms were lovely and great hot water. Very serene and parking was easy. Lots of friendly kangaroos, nice breakfast. Highly recommend for a getaway retreat. Will be back. Thank you for looking after us on our stay.

The steps (rocks) to our cabin was a little sharp and uneven,

The location is wonderful, amongst bushland on the edge of Stanthorpe. We saw wallabies, rosellas, native geckoes and other wildlife just outside our cabin. The cabin itself is cosy and comfortable, with everything you need (except a sink at the kitchenette to wash dishes, but that wasn't an issue for a short stay).

The only real issue was the service at the restaurant - it was excruciatingly slow. This is understandable as it was between Christmas and New Year, so they were probably understaffed, but what frustrated me was that you had to order a minimum of two courses on the menu, meaning you have to endure the wait twice. What Id hoped would be a "quick dinner" turned into a 2+ hour event, which after a long day of hiking was not great fun.

This was a good location. It is just a few kilometres out of town - quiet and easily accessible but also easy to drive to other facilities and points of interest. We appreciated the provided breakfast.

The beds were not as comfortable as we would have liked. Due to staff shortage the restaurant was not open, just the bar during the day. As there was a total fire ban, we were not allowed to use the fireplace - a big drawcard if you come from a warmer climate.

Great location, very central and amidst wine country. The cabins are cozy and warm with fireplace and aircon. Fire wood and breakfast basket are included and we had a buffet breakfast the second night. We were easily picked up by neighbouring company tours. The restaurant is delish

Uncomfortable beds. No streaming services on TV or ability to stream from your phone. Shower is small with poor water flow. No hair dryer. You wash dishes in the bathroom sink.
