My Mum and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this property. We have travelled all through the USA, Europe, and parts of Australia and we have never been so impressed as we were with the thoughtfulness and friendly professionalism shown by Michael and Di. The experience was overwhelmingly positive from the very start, with host contact prior to checking in to confirm dietary requirements and logistics. Prior to our arrival, I was asked what music we liked. I mentioned Taylor Swift, and they had even organised some Taylor Swift albums via their Sonos sound system for us and had it playing on our arrival! The location was beautiful and peaceful with gorgeous views, private parking and a bus stop right outside. Short and pleasant drive into Hobart city and other places of interest. The property was impeccably clean, thoughtfully decorated and tidy, and had everything you could possibly need including a picnic blanket, slippers and comfy robe! Breakfast was phenomenal - heathy, super tasty and great portions. My Mum’s dietary requirements were catered for beautifully - it just felt like nothing was too difficult for Michael and Di! It was a lovely touch to arrive home in the evening to some treats each night too. As you can see, I could go on and on. Please do yourself a favour and book this property. I would give it 5 stars again and again and again! We would definitely go back.

Absolutely nothing. Super hosts extraordinaire!

It was like the feeling of a room that was my home away from home. Fresh clean sheets, comfy bed (I have back issues and this bed was great), very thoughtful set up for guests. Everything you need as a traveler is catered for including things you wouldn't think of like spare computer cables, picnic basket, lots of spare pillows etc. Nice eco friendly supplies in bodycare cleansers. Breakfast was delicious with Michael and Di going to a bit of effort to cater to your dietary requirements and making adjustments if needed. Absolutely lovely experience with lovely hosts! Will stay again for sure

Absolutely incredible. Michael and Di were so helpful with suggesting places to go and things to do. The room on arrival was so clean, tidy and very cosy. They provided a different delicious breakfast for each day we were staying and the food was to die for. All round beautiful and caring people. Thank you for everything, Michael and Di. We will definitely be back 😊

Michael and Diane were super friendly, they gave us tips and suggestions to enjoy our stay in Hobart. The room was spotless, we had everything we needed and even more. The breakfast Michael and Diane prepared was definitely something to look forward to. We stayed for 3 nights, and the breakfast was very tasty and different every morning. Overall, we are very happy with our stay, strongly recommend Oceana B&B!

The hosts were amazing right from the start. Their hospitality of being air bnb host goes over and above. From the amazing breakfasts to the friendly nature both host exuded, it made a stay in Hobart relaxing.

Everything was perfect

Michael & Di were perfect hosts.Very caring & attentive & provided so much more than expected.They thought of everything you may need & more. The room & ensuite were immaculate .The walk in robe Was great to put your belongings & suitcases away . We felt like we were staying in a five star hotel. The bed was comfortable, great heating in room .The views over the water & Mt Wellington were spectacular.We were amazed at the breakfasts brought to our room each morning.Everything beautifully presented & tasty.Would definitely recommend if you want a place to stay not far from Hobart CBD & want some luxury .Would definitely return to the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in.

We loved everything.

7 days, 7 different breakfast that were absolutely wonderful each time. The servings are huge & everything is home made by the wonderful hosts. Our hosts met us at the door every evening to see how our day was, and left us little treats each evening. The view is absolutely stunning, ocean and snow covered mountain. Couldn't have picked a better location, close to the airport & the city. There's also a great little town centre with some great places to eat. Toiletries are provided. Just bring your own face wash & loofah. They have MOR products which are absolutely wonderful. Everything you need is available. Picnic blankets, portable fridge, coffee & tea facilities, ipad with recommendations for eating & sight seeing, warm fluffy robes, extra pillows, puzzles, Netflix. Very homey & comfortable.

We loved how Michael and Di were so very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. They went over and above with their service. Breakfasts were incredible and delicious and we looked forward to them daily.

Michael and Di went above and beyond to make our weekend away as enjoyable as possible. their kind and approachable nature elevated our Hobart/South Tas experience to another level. The room was clean and tidy and came with everything we could’ve asked for and more. When we come back down we will certainly be staying here again.

The property was super cozy and provided all the facilities a couple needed. Michael & Di were extraordinary in their hospitality and provided us with a first-class breakfast every morning. They also checked-in every evening about how our day went.
