Close to airport for easy rental car return (gas station on same site) and airport transfers available if needed. Good basic restaurant onsite and beds exceptionally comfortable. We had a suite with separate bedroom with super king sized bed. Lounge area comfortable and nice area for dining table and kitchenette

Equipment in kitchenette as advertised on booking.com site not there( toaster and kitchen equipment) so couldn't toast anything or really use microwave. They said it was to do with fire regulations but I suspect it is a business decision as travellers use their restaurant for breakfast rather than making own and less mess in rooms.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean with a good sized bathroom and all the expected amenities. We ate at the restaurant and were very pleasantly surprised at the quality and value for money of the food. Easy transport to the airport the next day made it a really convenient stopover after our Three Capes Walk.

The room would benefit from block out curtains as the car park outside was well lit as was the service station on the corner which we could see from our room. There was also quite loud air conditioning noise when we opened the window.

There was no cutlery. Only teacup and a teaspoon As I was there for 10 nights it would have been good to have some cutlery also a knife, fork, plate, bowl and even a microwave would be good however as an airport location I imagine most peoples stays would only be for a short period

Travelodge was one of the first hotels I stayed at during my 18-day tour around Tasmania, and I had the pleasure of staying another two days at the end of my journey. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient, especially since I had rented a car. The large car park, nearby petrol station, and car wash made everything hassle-free. The room was very cozy, warm, and clean, providing a comfortable retreat after long days of exploring. The entire hotel maintained a high standard of cleanliness, which I greatly appreciated. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety of options and was excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and accommodating, contributing to an overall pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Travelodge to anyone visiting Tasmania.

Very convenient to the airport, offering a shuttle bus or a 20 minute walk. Close to Hobart and other attractions. A comfortable and very well priced stay.

Our room had a problem with the aircon, heating in particular. We were offered another room without hesitation. It didn’t completely solve the problem, so were given a fan heater which was quite adequate. Despite this small issue, which the staff tried very hard to rectify for us, we would not hesitate to stay here again, was perfect in so many ways.

My stay at Travelodge was thoroughly enjoyable. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport, as we had an early flight to catch. We decided to upgrade to the executive room at a reasonable price, and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. Additionally, the hotel offers designated car parking, which was convenient for us. The gas station was located just in front of the hotel too. For guests who prefer not to venture into the city, there is a restaurant and bar located within the hotel. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and hassle-free, adding to the overall positive experience.

There was nothing that we didn't like. However, there was one minor inconvenience worth mentioning. The charging point beside the bed was difficult to access, as it required moving the bedside tables. Overall, our stay at Travelodge was comfortable and convenient, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation near the airport.

Close to Airport… big room with huge bed . Had a delicious dinner in restaurant!

We bought the breakfast for $20 p/p…. Big mistake! We ordered our bacon, eggs, beans and were told “ I will go cook it now”. Made ourselves a cup of coffee & looked for cereal … was walking back to table, no more than 3 mins and she arrived with our two breakfasts……. ABSOLUTELY STONE COLD. The bacon was stuck to the plate the meal was so cold. So disgusted… a waste of $40 and not a good start to holiday. We waited for five minutes to ask for hot meal and left in disgust.

This place was clean and modern. I spoke to three different staff members and they all seemed genuinely nice and helpful. I didn’t spend much time here so didn’t use any of the facilities - just rested in my room. My (international) flight was at 6am. I needed to be at the airport before the hotel shuttle started running, and I resented paying $45 for literally a 5min Uber (that’s the price I was quoted when I went to reserve one), so I dropped my bag in the luggage lockers at the airport before dropping off my campervan the afternoon before, walked back to the hotel, then the next morning, walked to the airport - there’s a footpath the whole way.

If you do have a really early flight, check your options to get to the airport - hotel shuttle might not be running and taxi/uber might be crazy expensive. Walking is an option if you’re not carrying a heavy bag.

Perfect for access to the airport. The room was a great size considering we had 2 large suitcases & 1 small case, so we could still easily move about. The bathroom was a good size as well. I don't remember hearing the planes, so fairly quiet area. It was a relief to know there is a lift as we were on the 2nd floor. Heaps of parking available when we arrived. It was handy having the garage and Subway right next door. Would definately stay there again if ever we are back in Hobart.

Paying $5 for overnight parking.

I stayed one night before flying out of Hobart early the next morning. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and big compared to some airport hotels I have stayed at. I ate at the restaurant as there is nothing else nearby. The food was good. There is also a shuttle service to the airport which is helpful.

The rooms are well used so are starting to look a little tired in places ie the blinds in my room were showing signs of wear. The hotel was a little under staffed when I stayed as the receptionist also had to help in the restaurant when it got busy and drive the shuttle van. This I understand was something out of the staff's control. But they did exceptionally well to maintain a good service standard.
