Clean and comfortable accommodation, very convenient location and great value for money especially for families.

Unfortunately we couldn't eat in the restaurant because it was already booked for a Saturday night - will definitely plan ahead next time! The open man hole cover in the wardrobe in one room didn't help for heating up the apartment on a cold winter night - might need to look at fixing that?!

Booked 1 night then decided to stay for 3. If our next lot of accomodation was refundable we would have stayed for 6. This place is excellent for couples travelling together. Apartment is large with everything you need. Hotel is attached but not noisy and handy for meals. Cost was same as 2 bedroom tiny cabin. So much better value.Love this place. We will definitely recommend to family traveling to Hobart.

Convenient spot as it is quite central to many things. Close to Derwent Entertainment Centre. Generally clean. Comfy beds. Good air con. Good key system. Nice modern interior. A nice experience for us.

Dining chair had not been cleaned, and smearing on oven door. Faucet in bathroom sink smeary and bin in bathroom had something sprayed on it. Floor in bathroom sticky perhaps cleaning spray residue? None of these things really a big deal though. Overall very pleasing.

Very clean and convenient with a no hassle check-in via email. Great to be able to stop after a long drive and just relax, go eat, have a few drinks. And the best thing was the large comfy bed!! Meals at Hotel were great, staff were friendly, and the staff member that served us in the bottleshop was amazing! She has the most outstanding customer service I have received in a long time. Thank you 🙂

Good accommodation, looks brand new, bed is comfortable and large. Hotel is next to a bottle shop.

Overall all good but we did call the hotel when we had a flight cancellations. The lady picked up the phone said will have someone to give us a call back but no phone call received. It is a self- service hotel so we can collect the key from letter box so it is not a big issue.

Very clean, modern, comfortable and roomy unit (3 bedroom apartment); large open plan kitchen/lounge area to relax in; and excellent facilities for cooking and washing/drying.

There is one air conditioner in the lounge area of the apartment, but nothing in the bedrooms, so it got a bit hot. Even just some smallish pedestal fans would make a big difference.

The room was spacious, clean. The bed very comfortable.

There is nothing beside a restaurant and a bottle shop. It is right on the highway.

It's very clean and comfy. Self checking in and out is super easy. Location is not the best but if you drive a car this is not a problem.

Not easy to find someone to get the toilet paper. There was only half roll in the bathroom when we arrived and this is obviously not enough for 4 people 6 nights.

Although Risdon has a poor reputation the hotel is in a very quiet location. It is very convenient to get around Hobart. The room has a separate bedroom and a great kitchen dining lounge room that is ideal for short stays. It is our second time staying there and we were not disappointed. As the light is on in the passageway for safety we took some cardboard to seal the light from the door as we are used to pitch black at night and we needed the air con running so had to leave the bedroom door open a little.

The door needs blacking out the light coming from the passageway is very distracting at night. Plus we always rearrange the room so that the couch faces the tv and the dining table is out of the way.

Spacious apartment with a little lovely courtyard. It was unmaned check in and check out with easy to follow instructions. The apartment was clean and well equiped also the car space has apartment number on the ground. 15-20 minutes drive to the city centre / Richmond / Airport. We enjoyed our stay.
