Large family accomodation, Quite location, warm rooms, comfortable bedding, great kitchen, loads of free activities for the whole family. Great family destination close to Ballarat central and Sovereign Hills. Friendly and helpful staff.

A restaurant would have been nice. The room smelt like prawns. Unusual and not pleasant to have a person try to force us into a 1hr 30 min seminar about joining the timeshare club, upon checking in. Felt awkward that the person kept trying to dangle the $100 gift card "emailed" for more than 10mins, even after I repeatedly declined. Made me not want to come back.

This place is a beautiful old collection of buildings surrounded by amazing birdlife and wildlife. The room was large and comfortable with everything that we needed for 4 adults. We loved waking up to the crazy birds, wandering around spotting the rabbits or seeing the possums in the evenings. Having on-site laundry facilities was handy and the Pool and spa was awesome. Located in a lovely quiet area less than 10 mins from the CBD.

Not so much a didn't like, but there wasn't a lot of info available. So we didn't find out till we asked that rooms aren't serviced but you can get replacement everything at reception. Our room did smell damp and it turned out there was a leak in the shower which we reported to the Reception team.

The rooms were spacious, clean and presented beautifully. The pool was fabulous.

The water pressure was terrible in the showers, parking was too far away from room and I was not impressed with the round about way our host offered to save us money on our accommodation by watching a presentation. Would’ve preferred an honest upfront discussion. We are yet to receive that “money” by way of an emailed gift card.

Just 10 minutes from most of Ballarat, it felt like everything was easily accessible from the Wyndham. The kids loved the pool, but I didn't venture in because it was a fair walk back to the room, and it is cold in Ballarat in July. I also loved having plenty of space for the kids to run around. The gold panning activity was an unexpected bonus. Hot water and water pressure in the shower were fabulous.

The sheets for the fold out bed were a bit too small for the bed which meant they were constantly coming untucked. Also, there were only two white towels plus two pool towels in the room which was booked for four people.

Lovely grounds. Nice roomy apartment with nice fittings.

Our apartment was fabulous. It had everything we needed. Great kitchen. Plenty of space. The underfloor heating in bathroom was perfect for the icey -2° mornings and the room heating was nice and toasty. The beds were the best we had ever slept in. Luxurious.

Some lovely features have been retained in the interesting buildings. It is perhaps a little spooky and institutional 👻. You could get a little lost in the hallways of this former convent orphanage... but that's fun. We would have loved to stay longer.

Very nice stay. The room was lovely and clean and the beds were comfortable. Great shower and the kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the heated bathroom floor. The apartment had good heating and we were very comfortable.

We were told the pool would be heated however it was too cold despite being "heated". It needed to be warmer than it was given its freezing in Ballarat.

The facilities inside and outside the room was great! The suite room is huge, very comfy and warm during winter. Beds were very comfortable and we had a great time using the paddle boats. The gym, pool and jacuzzi were a good addition as well. We love the architecture of the building, and very friendly staff.

Pool and carpark is far from the room so that was the downside as it gets very cold iwinter

Our kids absolutely loved the paddle boats and other activities on offer. Every morning they would wake up and go for a run around the lake, use the spa and then we would explore Ballarat before heading back for an evening on the lake and tennis!

I honestly cannot think of anything! We were thrilled with our stay 😄

What a great place to stay in Ballarat! We had a two bedroom unit. Both bedrooms were a very good size as was the living room. Being in an old building it had beautiful high ceilings. The facilities in the property are very good - including games room, laundry and indoor swimming pool. The grounds are also beautiful. The rooms are well heated and the beds comfortable.

Maybe the location is slightly out of the way but that’s no problem if you have a car.
