The location was great, easy walk to shops as well as restaurants and pubs. McDonalds right across the road for a late night snack if we wanted, everything was in easy reach. Our room was comfortable as was the bed but the walls are very thin!

I didn't like that I found chicken nuggets in the fridge and a full rubbish bin from the previous guests in the bathroom, also a disgustingly full ashtray outside our room. house keeping is questionable here. The brochures in reception dated back to 2015 so they really need to update their tourist information!

My wife likes that there is a hair dryer in the bathroom.

There is no kettle to make coffee and there are no complimentary coffee or tea bags in the room. I suspect there are bed bugs as I had a swelling and itchiness at the back of my neck. There indoor heated pool should be open at all times and not having the staff to unlock and lock the pool area. Especially as we want to use the pool after dinner. We didn't get to try the heated pool. The car park lots were too narrow for large SUVs and 4WDs.

The room was huge, with a large bathroom too. The hotel car park was close to the rooms. We didn't hear any noise during the night and the beds were big and comfortable. I used the small swimming pool - I went early at 7.30am and had it to myself. There were eating places within walking distance. The main historical area is also within walking distance, but as we had to check out before exploring, we drove there. We found free on-street parking not too far away. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room was well apointed. Check in and check out was easy and the staff were very pleasant and very helpful. The Motel is in a great location with restaurants and cafe's an easy walk, as is the city center. I would certainly recommend this motel to others.

Very clean and spacious room and wonderful central location. The rooms were adequately soundproofed as well as things were very quiet at night. Very helpful staff.

The shower set up was a bit funny as water went all over the bathroom floor and had to be switched back down the drain and so it would be easy to fall over and slip however good floor mats were supplied. Overall the room was spotlessly clean however there was a bit of mould on the edge of the shower curtain which was a bit off putting. It was annoying to discover that there were no breakfast options available to the room or room service dinner which was clearly advertised on the website. This was one of the main reasons why I chose this particular hotel however good eating places were well within a short walking distance from the room.

the beds were a little uncomfy - especially the sofa bed (could feel the springs and no doona cover) Lighting in the room was not great, very dim and no main light. Could hear people moving around upstairs very early in the morning, walls were extremely thin

Great location with most shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Older heritage feel to the building which played to Ballarat's heritage, but did leave some creaky floor boards which I'm sure would have been heard by those in the room below.

Well maintained, but the facility is ageing. Kept neat, clean and tidy though which resulted in a good experience.

Perfect locality in the city centre, easy access by car, good parking facility within compound, clean and comfortable large room on first floor - no lift, all usual hotel-room amenities available

bathroom had only a spa-bath with a shower head, access into the bath-tub difficult and slippery due to the spa outlets on the base of the bath, water just lukewarm - alerted owner.

didn’t realise checkin was until 9pm only - however, they were helpful and accommodating of a later check in. A few crickets in the room - not particularly bothered by it. may bother others.

The size and cleanliness of the room was very good. The bed was comfortable and comfortable furniture to sit in as well. Everything provided with a microwave and toaster and jug made for a pleasant nights stay.

The rooms are all upstairs which is a bit hard for older people to have to carry luggage upstairs. I wasn't aware of this when booking. It was also a bit hard to find the motel with the one way streets in Ballarat. I don' t think I would stay here again as it is stressful driving in an unfamiliar location.
