Stayed overnight with my grand daughter... it was a lovely clean and spacious room for the 2 of us. The bar fridge was one of the best I've used in a hotel/motel it kept your drinks lovely and cold. The room was well presented and clean... the bathroom although a bit 'oldish' had new tiles, no mould anywhere and very clean. I'm particularly fussy about bathrooms being lovely and clean. We both had a great nights sleep so that was a plus and guessing the beds were comfortable. (I always take my own pillow) While we were watching a movie on the large bed that was comfy for sitting up on... and they have Foxtel!!! Only con would be the tv could be a bit larger but was still watchable. I would definitely stay there again, the price was great and it's only about a 6k drive into Ballarat central. Location was great! The owner was extremely friendly and was keen for us to have an enjoyable stay which we did.

From memory pric was good, room had a big TV With Foxtel (even though I had to turn it back on and scan all the channels myself) and also a giant spa in the room for some reason which I used of course.

Luckily my GPS routed me to the back entrance as the front entrance is only 2m high which I wouldn't have fit under, so if you have a taller vehicle, you can enter from the rear cul-de-sac access which is always open. Parking spot layout meant you had to reverse onto the grass to get out and be facing the right way. Motel is far from the centre of town so definately make sure you have a car

The staff in the office is really friendly, called us before we arrived to confirm the booking and arrival time, and when we arrived it was very easy to communicate and sounded welcomed. The two bedroom unit was quite equipped with everything, from kitchen to bedroom to bathroom. Mattresses are very comfortable and everything is simple and clean.

Some neighbours are having some sorts of games and they made a lot of laughing sounds, it was well heard from our room. If the sound proof can be improved, it would be excellent.

A gem of a motel. Clean, spacious, massive tv with Foxtel, comfy bed and pillows with nice bedding in a quiet, leafy location. The bathroom was dated but that doesn't matter to me, especially when the shower in our room had water pressure so good it could blow you through the wall. Good for massaging travel sore shoulder muscles. You can tell the owners take pride in their business. There were even grassy areas with picnic tables. We'd definitely stay here again.

No negatives.

Lovely huge comfortable room at a good price. Pleasant helpful proprietor. Loved the extra touches..... biscuits, milk, salt & pepper, bottled water....

Noisy nextdoor neighbours on 1st night of my stay. Children running beserk, screaming,shouting right outside my door... ahhhhh till after 9pm. I shouted out to them: SHOOSH.... Pity their parents had no control. ** Perhaps signage to respect others & no NOISE after 9pm would be good **

The staff are friendly and professional

The only thing I could fault and it's a minor thing (this comes from my cleaning of motel rooms) there was not enough bottles of water for each guest and not enough condiments for guest. example : 5 people = 1 bottle of water 5 people = 1 milk 5 people 2 biscuits. (3. children and only 2 biscuits when all 3 wanted to try them = upset children)

The shower had good water pressure Friendly staff A spa bath in the room! I could watch the football on tv whilst I enjoyed the spa! Lovely sheets.

I had no milk in my fridge. Only 2x coffee mugs where provided and teaspoon. I had to go and ask for some crockery and cutlery. On the morning of check out, a staff member tried to entre my room, I had the safety chain on. He apologised profusely, but it scared me.

Very clean and good value for money accommodation. love our very spacious room, which offers a great view of the sunset. it's located within walking distance to Coles supermarket and bowling alley, where food can be purchased at an affordable price. Staff is very helpful and friendly. clean swimming pool is available for people who like to swim.

Microwave in the room. Pool was good for kids, too cold for me to swim yet. We used the BBW for cooking dinner one night. Reception gave us plates and knives and forks.

No-one was at reception when we arrived early. When we called no answer. So we went to the Eureka stockade museum and had a look around town. It's a beautiful place.

Visiting Sovereign Hill but didn't want the expense of the hotel onsite. This motel is 7 minutes drive to the heart of all attractions in Ballarat. Best service and stay of our summer road trip (10 towns). Service was 5 STAR, from check in to check out. We had the spa room, what a treat. Clean, larger than expected and comfortable. Owners are so accommodating, we organised an extra single for bed for our child, this was arranged at a small cost immediately upon arrival. You don't expect much for a motel in the middle of nowhere however this was 5 star city living in the country with great service as a bonus. Very clean, comfortable and air conditioning was excellent.
