Super clean, good water pressure in shower, great location with easy walking distance to public transport and heaps of great cafes and shopping, quiet, bed was comfortable and included decent quality pillows. Parking was super convenient

The parking wasn’t signed so I was a bit confused whether it was the right place to park. Other than that, no faults for me! Be aware that there is no lift so if you are on top level it’s quite a lot of stairs (request a ground level room if you don’t want that). The Espresso machine was broken (the water coming through was cold, wouldn’t heat up) and used cheap pods so was a pointless addition which was disappointing. Get real Nespresso pods.

Excellent location right in the middle of South Yarra off Chapel St with plenty of restaurants, shops and amenities at close hand. Great to have dedicated parking as well. The flat was very clean and sufficiently appointed to be very comfortable for a short stay. I had a ground floor unit which comes with a little private backyard for outdoor dining in the summer. It was quiet even though it was near the railway tracks.

The kitchen had basic crockery - could do with a few more utensils (like a scissors), cook and tableware for longer staying guests. Also some basics like salt, pepper, olive oil and sauces would be a nice additional touch.

Very convenient location just off Chapel Street and a short walk (6-7 mins) to the train so great for getting around and exploring the local area. The shared laundry was actually pretty efficient although it wasn’t very clean.

The kitchen was very sparsely fitted out - we have booked two rooms, one twin and one double. We catered for ourselves at breakfast which was fine. But, but when we cooked dinner one night, i only had very small saucepan and had to raid the other kitchen for anything big enough to use and enough crockery etc for the three of us.

The mattress was a bit too hard. I stayed in a ground floor apartment and there were no sheer blinds in the living room or bedroom to offer privacy during the day so I had to keep the blockout blinds down which darkened the room and made it feel quite claustrophobic. It would have been nice to have the sun shine through the windows with blinds that offered privacy. There was no shelf in the shower to place toiletries. Bending down to reach my shampoo etc on the shower recess was tricky due to health issues.

These are great apartments in South Yarra, one of Melbourne's best areas. Clean and compact - and stylish for the price - with a Nespresso machine, decent toiletries, free onsite parking and a coin-operated laundry that came in handy, the stay being a part of a long work trip. Our ground-floor apartment even had a courtyard with outdoor table. It's less than 1-min walk to Chapel Street, so super convenient location wise, with excellent cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries, even a cinema, within a short walk. The street is close to the train line so there is some train noise, although I acclimatised to the sound very quickly - there is train noise even where I live in country NSW - and didn't lose any sleep as a result. If train noise bothers you just pack some earplugs. Aside from the excellent balance of comfort, cleanliness, location and price, where these apartments really excel is in the service. Communication throughout the booking process was excellent and after my stay, when I realised we had left a few items in the wardrobe, management quickly retrieved the items and had them carefully packed and posted to me the following day. Furthermore they did it with a smile. It was a work trip and I forgot to take photos of the property but I can definitely say I would not hesitate to stay here again.

While there are of course more luxurious and opulent places to stay in a city like Melbourne, for the price, I have nothing but good things to say about Apartments of South Yarra.

Beautifully clean and fresh. Walking distance to Prahran market and restaurants we were interested in. Great place in a great spot.

I hate having to give my ID. I don't understand why I have to give over a digital copy of my drivers licence when I can walk into other accommodation places and they either don't even ask or simply ask to see it ... not copy it. No wonder there is so much identity theft. And we'll see how long it takes for our $200 security deposit to be returned. :-)

Well equipped refurbished stylish apartment in a good location. Ground floor easy to access. The apartment is a short walk via Chapel St and Toorak Rd to the South Yarra Train Station or you could catch a tram if you wanted less walking. Lots of car parking for guests at the apartments. Heading to the CBD from the apartment, it's only one train stop to Richmond Station for the sporting precinct (eg AMMI, MCG, Rod Laver) then one more stop for Flinders Street Station. One more stop and you're at Southern Cross Station where you can catch the Skybus to and from the airport. Easy to get a Myki card from 7eleven or machines for transport. The apartment had a microwave, toaster, kettle, nespresso, stove top, oven, large fridge. Tea bags, sugar sachets, coffee pods (3), UHT Full Cream Milk (~400ml) provided. Well equipped kitchen. Table and four sturdy chairs in dining area. Lovely outdoor courtyard with large picnic table. Bathroom was spacious and had a good shower. The beds were comfortable with two pillows on each bed (we requested twin beds). The blinds blocked out a lot of the light and the a/c worked well. Nice artwork through out and comfy armchair and lounge. Could hear trains and planes but did not disturb sleep. Some noise from other apartments during the day but a quiet location overall. Had to collect key from Hotel Claremont in Toorak Rd which was on the way walking to the apartment from the South Yarra train station. Overall a lovely place to stay!

Took a while to find the towels, they were down low in the bedside table. So, not really anything to dislike.

The apartment is conveniently located, with plenty of places to dine locally and has good access to transport. It allowed us to park our vehicle close to our accomodation and being in the open we were able to park our vehicle which is too high to fit in many car parks. It is very clean and nicely furnished with comfortable beds.

I collected the apartment key in Toorak Road and walked up William Street to Arthur Street, only to discover that the access to Arthur Street is blocked off at present, so I had to go back to Toorak Road and walk to Chapel Street and walk up to Arthur Street. This also made the walk to South Yarra Station longer than normal. I would have liked a washing up brush to help me wash up, and more toilet paper.

The apartment was cosy, clean and very central to Chapel St shopping and dining. Comfortable bed and great that there was a coffee machine and some milk provided. Great value for money in the area. TV in both the bedroom and living room. Generous sized self contained apartment much more homely, spacious and economical for a longer stay than a standard hotel.

Loud cleaning staff in the storeroom next to my room on the day I arrived. The apartment block has very close proximity to the train line which meant very regular and fairly loud train noise every few minites between approx. 6am - 11pm. I eventually tuned it out and didn't lose sleep because of it. The couch although trendy was very stiff. All lightglobes throughout the unit were blue/cool white instead of warm white.

Location was good being right off chapel st. The parking space being included was perfect for us and the main reason that we ended up choosing this accomodation over others options.

Light switches and power points were in weird locations. We had to pick up the key at a different location which was a 5 minute walk because we hadn’t seen the email that told us this prior. However, these two negatives were really not major issues and our stay was very pleasant.
