The location is terrific! We got off the bus and crossed the road. Restaurants and cafes were at our finger tips. The staff accommodated our needs, yet respected our privacy. They were super friendly. Reception staff attended to our responses to queries in such a polite manner especially granting us a room with natural light. They went above and beyond our expectations. The facilities were fantastic, clean pool and a wonderful rose garden to relax in and generally a warmer than Melbourne temperature too!!

There were only 2 electricity outages in our hotel wing , however the issue was rectified swiftly.

The location and the sumptuous surroundings including the pool. Spanish Grill had the best steak I have ever had.

Wifi reception is poor

The Quality Hotel Mildura Grand in Mildura is a grand and historic old hotel close to the New south Wales border. It is a fine place to lay your head for the night. A short walk to shops, restaurants and pubs. Or you can dine in house at their own restaurant. There is no onsite parking which to be honest if I had of realised I would have stayed elsewhere. Leaving my car in a public carpark on the next block (across the road) with a motel tag on the dash was not something I’d like to do again. So location earns a score of 4.

We love the ambience of the Grand. Staff were kind friendly and really helpful. The room was a great size and the quality of the linen, the bathroom and the facilities were excellent. We love the location and the ability to be comfortable in a number of areas of this hotel from lobby to pool to outdoor areas.

Breakfast was not well explained and we only realized there was fresh fruit etc as we were about to leave.

Very clean, comfortable and well-appointed room. The Art Deco style motel is in a great location, easy walking distance to restaurants and cafes. The off street parking was convenient and free.

No complaints - a good experience overall. The reception staff member directed us to the stairs and we subsequently found there was a lift - given we had quite a bit of luggage it would have been good to have the lift pointed out upfront.

Spotlessly clean. Pleasant, spacious old fashioned room with a very high ceiling. The furnishings were basic but the bed was extremely comfortable. Excellent shower. The staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful.

No off street parking. Window looked out onto a basic sort of streetscape, not unpleasant but not inspiring either. Some of the furnishings were scuffed and scratched. All in all not a very warm, cosy feeling even though the room itself was large and gracious

I enjoyed the ambience of the hotel and it’s proximity to Stefanos restaurant and cafe.

Breakfast was very good. The hotel is lovely and comfortable. We would come again. Also well situated in Mildura.

Loud music on saturday night that kept us awake as we were quite near the grand ballroom. I did complain twice but nothing Happened. I would also suggest a handrail in the shower as it is very slippery & also one by the toilet especially for older people.

Great location for our needs, public areas beautifully appointed, spacious room and bathroom with good lighting,clean,elevator to upper floor. Nice 2 day stay.

Difficult to manage luggage up the stairs to reception, from the 15 minute parking bay, there was a trolley we used once inside,up to the room, the porter appeared quickly to retrieve same although there was no sign of him when we needed assistance, and not offered by reception. Our room was noisy, Saturday night near public car park. Difficulty adjusting shower, almost got scalded then chilled. Air conditioner did not work.

Room fitted all the bills. Restaurant exceptional, especially Spanish Grill. Lovely staff and so obliging and willing. Beatiful omelettes the next morning. And location with the river and walking - what more could one want,

When we return in two weeks we request a room not facing the side street as the noise from the outside of the Spanish Grill and car park carries up to the rooms. But it stopped at 10.
