Unit situated on a large campus and the building housing the unit had a large expanse of lawn at the front. Noticed a few rabbits and birds frequented this space in the mornings. which was a nice touch. Room was spacious with king size bed. Looks like the bed could be split into two king size singles if required. Full size bath provided for those who like to soak.

Not that I didn't like it but it should be noted that the access roads to this property are fairly narrow coming to and from the main thoroughfares in the suburb, some with minimal or no shoulders. So, extra caution is required when passing approaching vehicles. The car parking areas on this conference campus are not always immediately in front of respective units/buildings, and being uncovered, inclement weather could present a problem when loading/unloading vehicles, as it would require walking some distance with suitcases etc in damp conditions, to get to the unit. The fridge could have been bigger and dish washing facility was less than adequate.

Had an issue with original room and I was upgraded. I had not realised there were higher level rooms and would book those in future. Executive. Staff so help and friendly. Tina, Kylie, Anneka, Linna, Eddie and all the housekeeping staff. I was really impressed with the property and was able to relax on the lawns in the sunshine. Beautiful grounds and walks outside of the property. It was the perfect base for me but you do need a vehicle. Great you get coffee at the bar but had difficulty with any outside restaurant/takeway wanting to deliver. Bring your own food. Highly recommend Foothills.

Room was very spacious and had a King size bed. The landscape is lovely and green, and surrounded by a lot of trees. Very relaxing and peaceful. Breakfast is not available, however cafes are only a 7 min drive away.

I would have preferred they had a breakfast area. They could do a continental style like offer croissants, raisin bread, toast with jam or vegemite. A cappucino, perculated coffee, latte and cup of tea would be great. Guests could prepay their breakfast,

Room was large, comfortable and well equipped. Good value and a surprising find for suburban Melbourne.

Suggest putting some hooks or rails in the bathroom to hang the wet towels and dressing clothes on. Not many power plugs to connect laptops or power chargers too. Only in bathroom and over fridge and behind beds. Nothing on the desk area. Would be nice to have a tray of ice cubes already frozen in the fridge.

The King bed was absolutely outstanding - we both had the best sleep! The bed was huge, with comfortable pillows. The curtains in the room completely blocked out the light from outside, which aided a restful sleep. The location was beautiful, with tranquil garden areas and a beautiful view from our room. We did not hear or see any other guests during our Saturday night stay, the rooms were quiet and peaceful. So close to wineries in the Yarra Valley, we will definitely be staying again - thank you!

You can't see the TV properly from the bed and the TV only had free to air channels. This wasn't too big a deal as I had read other reviews about the TV and took my computer with me to watch Netflix. For the price of the room, I wouldn't expect anything more than what I got - still a great experience.

The rooms were very spacious and clean and had all the basic things one needed. The bed was massive and very comfy!!! Great for family with kids as there is a park as well and nice to go around the property for a stroll. Probably would have helped if the property was better lit as it was too dark at night to find the rooms, so some more lighting would have been good. Did not have breakfast there.

We have stayed at foot Hills many times and recommend it to friends and family . Its quiet peaceful location is brilliant

Access codes and keys - what a nightmare. We arrived late and had to get access via the locked gate via a code. After driving for 4 hours in the pouring rain we arrived at 11 pm at a locked gate and could not get in. I searched and searched through all the emails and there was no code - LOCKED OUT. Thankfully we were let in by another guest. The next morning I received a phone call from my wife who said the Code had been sent via text message to the work phone that I left at work. Please stick to one form of communication (Email) so as not to confuse anyone else . other than that it was a brilliant stay.

Bed, pillows, linen all very comfortable. room warmed up after a few hours. Please could we have mugs for tea & coffee. lots of milk thankyou. gorgeous location would like to come back wifi not available as we were late arrival (after 9 and had to travel to get there late) number on directory would be good please!

walls around toilet, near shower and behind doors near handles were not clean. covid clean standards please.

The setting was beautiful!!! Rooms great and spacious - Loved the shower. It was terrific!!

The furniture outside the rooms were a bit tatty and would look better with just a clean - were pretty grimy. Also we were attending a concert - it would be great if there was transport from the venue - seems like lots of us were going there.

This was is a very convenient location for our work, and the room was clean and tidy. The large single beds were also quite comfortable. There is plenty of parking on site. After hours 5.00 p.m access is via a security code to open the front gate and a lock box at reception with details of the room and key. Once we had the security code, this was easy to navigate. There is no need to see reception on departure, which was appreciated.

We could only book a twin room, despite the facilitate looking almost empty on our arrival. The room was cold at night and the bedding is quite thin. I had to place my coat over the bed to keep warm. The staff sent an email a week ahead of time to advise that they would send a text with the security code to open the front gate after 5.00 p.m. Unfortunately this did not arrive. We were able to find the emergency after hours number, and they were able to assist. There is no onsite or nearby option for breakfast.
