The property was beautiful. The interiors and styling was gorgeous. The linen and beds were super comfortable. Everything was clean. The fireplace was beautiful. We stayed in the loft and we will definitely come back

Very helpful & friendly manager who is a credit to the establishment. We were relaxed before we even arrived. The Mill is ideally located right in the town, so easier to walk everywhere, especially for dinner if you want a drink or two. The 'King Arthur Suite' itself was filled with detailed character, private with its own courtyard, wonderfully cosy king bed and amazingly quiet. Looking forward to visiting next time we'll experience yet another room theme...It was an experience 🙂

Blue stone building Garden Cosy

Small toilet next corner of hand wash basin cupboard, it hurts when bumped. Got bruise television was not working but thanks staff arranging man technician to fix on Christmas Day. The outdoor cane chairs were not given spare two cushions to your support back n sitting. She said she doesn’t have got one. Sounds odd not to provide? One cushion mattress was wet, We sat outside enjoy some sun. There is no dining table with two chairs inside the suite. The business should know better. See photos are attached. You might understand what I’m talking about.

The location is great. The loft is situated right in the main Olinda village & easy walking to everything, shops, cafes, restaurants. We stayed in the “ King Arthur suite” which is on the ground level. The room is cosy & clean. The double spa big enough for 2 & relaxing. The court yard is an added bonus during nice weather. A wood fire is also available for those cold winter nights. The staff were friendly. Dressing gowns & slippers are also provided, as too water, juice , coffee/tea & small kitchen with microwave.

A basic breakfast of toast & condiments is included, but there are many cafes across the road if you wanted to go out or purchase breakfast

The location of A Loft In The Mill was central to the town, and within walking distance to local little shops and the Dandenong Botanic Gardens. The breakfast provisions and little extras were such a nice touch. The facilities are stunning, you really can feel like royalty for a night. Olinda is a stunning little town. I thoroughly recommend the hat shop over the road from The Mill. A very pleasant, thoughtful accommodation in a stunning location.

We had no complaints at all.

We stayed in the Victorian Suite. The room was large and the king sized bed was comfortable. The room was equipped with a mini bar fridge, microwave, toaster and a kettle. Breakfast was supplied for in room self preparation - toast, cereal, coffee, tea, juice and a local spring water which was a nice touch. Location is great being metres away from the main strip in Olinda.

Local restaurants close early

Friendly staff, the cottage was very cozy, bed was very comfortable, it had everything we needed for the time we were there.

Fire place smoked out the room when first lit, and didn’t emit much heat, which was disappointing being one of the main reasons for us booking this room. The shelf in the bathroom, both myself and my partner hit our heads on it when using the sink and going to the toilet.

Beautiful building and location. The lady who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. Lovely room with very gorgeous furniture to suit building. Bed was comfy. Had mini fridge hidden behind the ironed doors with breakfast provisions and juice. A lovely place for couples and late check out great . Very close to bakery and eateries and shops.

You can hear walking upstairs but it didn’t really bother us.

Olinda is a wonderful area and A Loft In The Mill suited perfectly. The loft suite was lovely for my husband, our adult daughter, and me. The heater was on to welcome us on a chilly late arrival our first night. The provisions for simple breakfasts were just right for our two mornings there. On our checkout day we also indulged in a massage at Nourish Spa on site, which was so nice.

The staff were lovely, the room was beautiful and they went the extra mile to decorate the room and take special care of us for our wedding weekend. Would definitely stay again!

Unfortunately the wifi wasn't working and my phone struggled to connect to mobile data, but it was nice to switch off so not a big issue.
