Everything was super. Very pleasant stuff met us. Rooms for that prices were very good and what’s important clean, very clean. The bathroom was clean, sheets, pillowcases, the overall look of the hotel was good. Very tasty breakfasts were there. The stuff was very helpful and in that place was a very good authentic atmosphere. Highly recommend!

It’s not a big minus but would be better if there were more (1-2) sockets for charging all the apparatuses the guests have.

Perfect stay in a small village right next to Hallstatt. Amazing breakfast and very good rooms. The room design could be considered dated, but that for me personally adds to the charm of the hotel. They have a charging station nearby which means you can travel to Hallstatt completely electric.

The old floors made creaking noises and the bathroom was a bit small. We could manage as a couple staying only for one night, longer stays can get a little difficult.

The place is great for that price, we really enjoyed our time there, at night the sky is so beautiful, the bathroom was new, really clean and the beds were clean and comfy.

There was no fridge in the rooms to keep some food there (or beer), we wanted to play cards and the tables outside didn't have any lights to use so it was no possible, there was a strong smell of meat in the first floor (they have a store there).

Nothing special at the first glance, but soon discovered it was a very nice place. The rooms are situated above the Gasthaus and Metzgerei but they closes in the afternoon/in the evening so there is no noise. The room was ok, with solid facilities in the bathroom. The breakfast was very good and versatile enough. Car park in front of the building. In the neighbourhood there are additional restaurants and a fine bakery. Walking distance to the Hallstatter See and train station, close to the Salzkammergutradweg.

For the price we paid, everything was above expectations!

Clean, warm and nice breakfast. 12 mins to Hallstatte by car, I found the hotel is same as I stayed in 2018, with different name. The staffs ( Family ?) are friendly as before. My check-in is at 18:30 with only one telephone call, no problem at all.

Toilet, shower room. I strongly recommand to change the weird design toilet, which make the thing stay in the air. You know what will happen, especially when ventilation is hard in winter time.

We liked everything about this hotel so much on our first visit a few weeks ago that we decided to come again for a second stay, as we wanted to see more of the area. This second visit confirmed our first - everything was perfect. We really like the overall atmosphere, the beautiful, solid feel to the place, its furnishings, and the beautiful beams in the dining room. Our rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the bathrooms scrupulously clean. The buffet breakfast ( cold and hot) was excellent.

The hotel is very cozy. Even though the room is small, it has everything necessary. My window faced a mountain, so beautiful. Considering super high hotel prices in Hallstatt, this was an amazing value for money, just 20 mins away by bus. The train station is just 5 mins walk. Plus, the area around this hotel is very pretty in itself, i walked a lot and so discovered amazing hidden places with literally no people. Could even swim in the lake.

Traditional mountain breakfast before skiing. The breakfasts were excellent, thanks to the homemade food. Great pastries and cold meats. Ideal location for trips to Hallstatt or skiing on the Dachstein (15 min by car). Bad goisern center itself is also nice.

Some room equipment is of an older date. The restaurant is not open in the evening.

Location is great for those who cycle through Salzkammergutradweg nice starting point for a trip to Haltstatt near very nice lake where you can swim nice breakfast

there was no room to leave the bikes safely - just a small rack in front of the house, near main road quite noisy as near the road

Very good deal for the price. Great breakfast! Simple check-in. Hallstatt is 12 minutes by car.

Walls are thin and the floor creaks in front of the doors, so can be noisy. Better bring earplugs if you easily wake up. Still for this price it is a great deal for travellers on a budget.
