The moment we went into the hotel, Sandra welcomed us with a great smile on her face, she was already waiting for us and she has done the FASTEST check-in ever (less than a minute!) With a perfect brief, she let us knew everything that we needed about our trip in Hallstatt. Our room(number 25) had a great lake view and it was perfectly clean. Lighting was good enough and room has everything what we needed. For the dinner, Sandra, Alex and Josef(owner of the hotel) have done anything they could to make our night perfect ! Food was great, drinks were perfect. After last guest of the restaurant left, they came to our table and offered us Schnaps and more drinks 😍 They were all very friendly to us. Alex also played the songs that we wanted to listen 😊 It was very nice to meet them all and moreover now they will be coming to our wedding in September 😇 Then in the morning, Daniela served us a wonderful breakfast. She made us feel at home with that breakfast table. Thank you Daniela 😘 About the location of the hotel, it is literally in the middle of the centrum. The moment you step out from the shuttle (from parking lots to centrum) you will immediately see the board of SEEWIRD ZAUNER 💙 If you are planning a trip to Hallstatt, do not spend time with searching hotel, do your reservation to Seewirt Zauner and you won't regret ✌️ Thanks for the everything, nothing would have been better for us. ✅

I have been dreaming about visiting Hallstatt for the last 5 years. The town and the hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location couldn't have been more perfect and was at the heart of the town. The balcony was lovely to sit out on and drink some local Shnapps. My boyfriend treated me to an amazing paddle on the lake, which Brought me to tears. The lake was about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The restaurant had the most delicious food. The best apple Strudel I have ever had. The breakfast spread was great and had everything needed to fuel one up for the day. My boyfriend and I had the best time. Definitely a place we will both return to, if he doesn't grow sick of me by then.

The hotel is located right on the corner of the market plaza. Very close to the ferry port, in about 5 minutes walk. The host is hospital and welcoming. The room is cozy, with a little village vibe yet modern in the bathroom. The bed is so comfortable, we had the best sleep in our 18-day trip. It is in the very center of Hallstatt, we had a chance to see tranquil night time and early morning of Hallstatt with little disturbance from the crowded tourists. The breakfast is 5-star state, and included in the package.

The bathroom door is stuck in the middle, but won’t affect the usage. And should be fixed afterwards.

A cute hotel right in Hallstatt's small market. If you get the upper floors you'll have a nicer view of Hallstatt, although there are roofs mostly everywhere, which might affect the view but still lovely. The checking in process was quite easy and straightforward. As we arrived fairly early, the lady at the front desk gave us our keys and a map showing where to go around in Hallstatt. The staff in this hotel were amazing! The lady in the breakfast area and the waiters at the restaurants were really nice. We also met a cute dog, Boomer! :)

The reason why it's an 8 instead of a 10 is because there was spider in our room, which is fine as it is a very naturely vibe area, however it just made me sleep uncomfortably. Another point down was when we had dinner on our second night the prawn pasta we ordered was too spicy that it was inedible for me to eat. I unfortunately had to order another dish. The staff were nice though and didn't ask us to pay for the other dish ordered. Thank you :)

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early.they lady who worked during the breakfast shift was very helpful. We loved seeing her. Breakfast was delicious, a lot of variety. Coffee was waiting for us each morning. The location is very central. A 2 minute walk from the ferry drop off and close to several food and shops. We had a beautiful view of the lake and mountains and overlooking the town. The room was big and comfy, the beds were nice. The bathroom was a big size, very easy to move around.

It was a bit expensive but we had a balcony view. And no a/c so a bit hot, we were on the 3rd floor.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this remarkable hotel. We were greeted by the most welcoming and attentive owner, Sandra! Her warmth and eagerness to assist made us feel like a valued guest throughout my entire stay. The view, it was awesome! We are lucky enough to get the top floor! The view from our room was like a masterpiece that changed with the light of each passing day, leaving us breathless. The food at this hotel’s restaurant were simply great! From the breakfast spread that offered an array of delicious options to the exquisite dinners. The overall experience was nothing short of perfection. Every aspect of the hotel's design and service was remarkable. Whether it was the comfortable beds, the amenities, or the seamless check-in and check-out process, it was evident that the staff had put their heart into ensuring a memorable stay. In conclusion, our time at this hotel was an unforgettable adventure. The staff, the mesmerizing view, the exceptional food, and the overall experience exceeded all our expectations. We left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and with a deep appreciation for the effort put into making every guest feel like royalty. We visited Hallstatt on holiday and slept two nights in Seewirt Zauner. It was very cosy and comfortable. We got room 35, on 3rd level. Location is perfect, well connected to lanes also above the pension. Breakfast is very good and good variety. From our room you could see the lake from the balcony and could enjoy a beer in the evening. Good WI-Fi, called WLAN locally. We ate also dinner in restaurant at 1st floor. Pork Scnitzel very good, ask for extra salad. The noodle with cheese dish (local specialty called Spatzle) comes already with salad. Good price quality ballance.

Shower gel is very little and the room has no fridge or safe.

Location is right in the middle of Marketplatz - you enjoy the live band & great view as well Contactless check-in Restaurant below - Philip gave us great seats outside even though we had no reservation Breakfast was included Staff helpful - especially Daniela who helped us plan our trip going back to Salzburg (we commuted) Can leave luggage to explore Halstatt a bit more after checkout

The door to the balcony was difficult to open - understandable due to the wood expanding due to the warm temperature. We had to find Philip who kindly helped us but maybe include this in the room instructions? Breakfast was great for me but labels to explain what they were might be helpful (did not want to bother staff as they were busy & just tried them all anyway).

Ideally located in the heart of this charming little town. Our room was a decent size and had a large balcony overlooking the town square, a picture book scene. The restaurant was good and the breakfast was pretty good too.

Although we arrived at about 5.15 in the evening, by that time there was nobody on reception, so check-in was contactless. We had a bit of confusion over which room was ours but there was nobody around to clarify this. Also, whilst it's no fault of this hotel (as it's the same for all hotels in the centre of town), we needed to park about 1km out of town and take a shuttle bus into it. Instructions on what to do here could have been clearer.

We were very pleased with our 2 night stay. We had contactless check in as per the clear instructions given to us prior to our stay. It was very simple as we had the keys in an envelope with our name on it. No hassles. We loved the location. Our room was with a balcony overlooking the main square with people sitting, passing by or taking pictures. Bed and pillows were comfy. A big thank you to Daniel and Phillipe as they were so very kind and helpful wirh all our requests and questions. B'fast was excellent. Freshest bread and croissants. We had our dinner in their restaurant and was very happy with the service and food. Glad we picked this place for our Hallstatt stay. Highly recommended.

I wouldn't have minded somewhere to hang the face towel.
