We lived on the third floor with a balcony with a mountain view. A charming hotel in a great location. After an intense day, it was good to relax in a comfortable bed. Several pillows for each. There was also a lift if needed. Breakfast was normal with a variety of options and the wifi connection was average. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They allowed us to keep our baggage after checking out for several hours.

There was no kettle in the room, only two glasses. The photos provided in Booking were a bit misleading because in them rooms looked bright and modern, full of natural light, but they lacked that natural light and looked a bit aged. And the view through the balcony was a bit disappointing, you could see the mountains and that lovely town, but half of the view was covered by the roof of the big house in front of you.

Great location, big room with great views and very clean. Nice breakfast.

The staff member/waiter on day one while we waited to check in was quite rude. Also note that Halstatt businesses will only take cash unless over a certain amount i.e. €30. This place is no different.

The hotel is more than we expected. It is in the center of Hallstatt. There is lift and automatic door upstair. Breakfast is full of items. Room is very clean and big size so that my mom ask they give us wrong room or not. View from my room is the best view so far, I love the balcony 😊

no early check in as staff extremely busy running restaurant until after lunch. Is about a 15 min walk from car park with bags then up stairs

location is quite close, about 300 m from ferry, rough stone road, a little bit up, but thanks God, no stairs. No view from the room, it's OK for me. it's clean. quite big room. but all are standard furniture, which is no problem at all. They offer simple breakfast too.

Don't have kettle, cups, or tea/coffee in the room. No Fridge. No air-con / heater, so I can not imagine if it's at the peak summer / peak winter. when we were there, the room is too hot, so we open the balcony door a little bit. The outside is cold, perfect to give a little chill. They are very busy at the restaurant that they run, so a bit rough when check in, and sounds not welcoming but I don't think they mean it.

The room was WAY bigger than expected. The hotel is mere meters away from the town's center and the ferry. We got a room with a balcony that had the most wonderful view. The biggest highlight though, was finding out that the dinner was included! All 3 courses! I will definitely return here!

An incredible penthouse room with incredible view. Very modern and felt like we were the first to ever stay there! The view over the lake is worth every penny. Facilities are super - apartment has everything you need. Staff were helpful (not overly cheerful) especially on our first night when we arrived late and they provided us with a "take out" from the restaurant.

Minor grumbles - asked for some more sugar on day 2 for coffees to be told "the penthouse doesnt include refills". Thought that was a little tight. Not a complaint about the apartment but worth noting that things in Hallstatt close early - most restaurants by 8 or 9pm so eat early or have something to cook at your apartment! Many also close earlier with no prior warning as we found because of the weather! Also the supermarket kept very strange hours and only opened for a few hours in the afternoon. Its the only potential downside to an otherwise incredible village.

The room was extremely clean with excellent views of Lake Hallstatt. The balcony was our favourite part which was right on the water. Perfectly covered when it rains! Very well equipped with coffee machine, pods & teas. The bed was comfortable with premium and cozy bedding. The location is a 10/10. Views of the lake from the balcony are breathtaking. Located right in the centre of the town. Lots of privacy and peaceful sleep inspite of central location. Diaclaimer: our room was NOT in the Weisses Lamm hotel building (which is a little tucked away). Our apartment was in one of the buildings on the water.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the fact it has 2 balconies, one of which had a partial lake view. The one with a lake view could fit a table and a couple of chairs. The mountain view balcony was bigger. At night it was super quiet as we were sleeping with open windows. The beds were comfortable, but the duvets were too thick for my liking - as in all other hotels I stayed in the last month. Breakfast was very good and we ate 2 meals in the restaurant during our stay in Hallstatt. Some dishes were better than others, but quality was there.

Hotel has a "drinking" station on the 2nd floor and you have to pay to get hot water or coffee. After finishing my pot of tea during breakfast I asked for a cup of coffee and was told I have to pay 3 euro for it.

We stayed in Suite Deluxe: The modern furnishing was just "wow" moment, especially with exceptionally beautiful view directly onto the lake and mountains from our own enclosed balcony. Overall equipment of the rooms was great, lot of seeting places, sofa, 2 TVs, balcony with chairs and table, coffee machine with capsules that were daily refilled, free tee bags and electric water kettle. The location was right next to the city centre, across to the city museum, so we could go back and take rest any time. Free car parking place in the guesthouse, though you have to make it with a car through the crowds and narrow streets.

The bathroom was strangely impractical - there was no separation wall or space between shower and toilet. Lady at the place where the breakfast was served was really unfriendly just from her looks. We had an incident when cleaning lady didn't close our door after cleaning, so we waited for hours before discovering it was empty and anyone could have walked in with our things around. Nothing got lost but still not a great feeling. Hotel shuttle goes every 30 minutes to the public parking spots and could fit only 5 persons and their bag, so if you don't fit, you have to wait for next round.
