Kempinski Hotel Das Tirol

1- Came here for the 2nd time with my family .. Excellent facilities , very good breakfast , clean and beautiful decorations. 2- Nearby nice attractions in the area but you will need a car to move around. 3- Staff very friendly and helpful except 1 waitress in the breakfast buffet (see below). 4- Very good dinner (Smoky Friday was nice).. charged us 17 € for bread 🥖 !!! in the dinner which is complementary in most other restaurants !!.. hotel desk was nice to take off most of it from the bill when we cheeked out.

1- No air vacuum in the bathrooms ! 2- Curtains do not block the sunlight in the morning ! 3- One waitress in the breakfast Buffett was very rude (and May be even racist) since she spoke very nicely with German / Austrian guests and was not even replying to our requests!.. (don’t know her name.. old thin woman with eyeglasses) .. I reported her to the hotel desk. 4- Room service is poor and very slow in the evening / night. 1 or 2 food options only in the menu when you order room service at night !!! (Very inconvenient for families with kids that check-in to the hotel at night).

The only negative was the food . The actual cooking was perfect in that meat and eggs etc were correctly cooked, however the recipes and presentation were very poor. I would say this is a head chef problem. Food can be perfectly cooked but have absolutely no taste as was the case. They don’t know how to make eggs Benedict or how to make Hollandaise sauce. Similarly the Wiener Schnitzel was very poorly presented. One evening I ordered spring rolls and received 2 somewhat over done small spring rolls for 18€. I am happy to pay a reasonable price for quality but I felt insulted that anyone could serve that at a ridiculous price. The cooking is the only thing stopping me from returning.

Amazing place for long and short holidays! The room was excellent, the bed huge and super comfortable and the personell kind and helpful. Huge plus for delicious breakfasts and dedicated and helpful front desk. Spa and pool area very well maintained.

Some of the employees didn’t speak English/ German, f.e. the waitress in the library. Even though the room was cleaned every day, the house keeping forgot twice to refill shower gels and water.. During entire, 5-days stay, the ashtray was not emptied. Small things, but should not happened (in my opinion).

Everything was excellent, the food, the room, the stuff. A big thank you for the restaurant team, they work very hard but manage to give you lot's of attention and quality service. The concierge , the luggahe guys, the hosts, the cleaning team, really everyone is very friendly and very professional! I am impressed! A big bonus is that our kid loved the kids club, it was ideal! Bravo to the general manager and all stuff to give us this perfect holiday feeling.

Alot of Mosquitoes and insects inside and outside the room The bathroom water pressure is super low The wash room smell bad and too small They are so poor in shampoos and so.. You don’t feel Kempinski spirit in this hotel it’s just like any other hotel

Location, facility, services, kindness of senior staff - we received VIP tickets for tournament for free - amazing, I only mentioned that there is a tournament (during our check-in) and manager gave it to us. Love it. Great room service. Outstanding spa.

time to time queues before we were seated for breakfast, also crowded breakfast area. staff in the bar was a bit slow and we had to wait to ask for additional services. same - junior staff at breakfast forgot our requests couple of times. same - during dinner - perfect service at the beginning, but at the end they lost focused. To be absolutely fair - all of above are just observations and recommendations for improvements - overall service was good.

great staff, service. SPA center was very, very nice. Clean and spacious , we spent most of our time there. Food was great as well!

Some of the parts of the hotel look a bit used, maybe you need to think of a renovation in the near future

Large and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is great and the spa and pools are really nice . For kids there is a play room that was fantastic for my daughter (4 years old) .

Excellent service, kind staff, pleasant atmosphere, exceptional breakfast, great barbecue event, relaxing pool and SPA. outstanding massage treatment. Hotel is well located in hiking environment. We will come back.

Nothing. The cherry on the ice cream would be a shower / water bucket shower outside in the free area at the outside sauna.
