Very nice hotel with welcoming staff and comfortable rooms (some seem to have nicer views than others). The breakfast was very good. We could take our dog in the restaurant (which of course is reasonable especially with carpet flooring), but the staff was very helpful in letting us sit at a table in the lobby area to have our breakfast without having to leave the dog in the room. The rooms were a good size and beds/bathroom confortable

The street of the hotel is not especially nice, but it's a 5 minute walk from a really nice walking area and not to far from the center. Travelling with 3 kids is often complicated to find a "reasonably" priced hotel. I can't say this hotel was excellent value for money as there is no adapted formula but it was reasonable compared to prices in Salzburg

The location of the hotel was spot on: Direct bus to door (no:2) from airport. Could walk into City in 10 minutes Could walk upto Gaisberg & Kapuzinerberg direct from hotel. The staff were very helpful, polite, and friendly - the hotel comfort, location, staff and value for money is the reason I returned from a previous visit last September.

Honestly couldn’t identify any faults: When we arrived Saturday - the safe combination code wasn’t working so couldn’t use it- we reported it immediately and the staff on reception ensured it was fixed first thing Monday morning. They looked after our passports in the reception safe for us in the meantime. Perhaps a suggestion could be to ensure a check is made on the safe working prior to next visitors check-in.

Excellent location not far from the old town with all its famous sightseeing and cultural hot spots easily accessible on foot. The hotel room was very comfortable and clean with comfy beds. The breakfast was great offering a variety of food and drink choices, leaving no wishes open. The indoor parking facility in the basement of the hotel was much appreciated too.

We had expected an international restaurant to be part of the hotel facilities as indicated on the booking.com website. So we were slightly disappointed that there is in fact no restaurant. Given that we arrived on 31 October (Halloween) and a number of restaurants nearby were therefore closed indeed, we had to search around a bit, but were eventually rewarded with a very good local cuisine serving restaurant "Zum Fidelen Affen" off Linzer Gasse in the old town, some 800 metres away or so from the Dorint City Hotel.

The hotel is well appointed with comfortable rooms, although there weren't any of the fancy toiletries you sometimes find. The breakfast was superb and after 3 or four rounds of the buffet I really didn't need any lunch! Good service from the staff who helped us arrange taxis, tours and concert tickets without any fuss. There's a direct bus from the airport straight to the hotel (no 2), which is great.

Unfortunately there's not a direct bus from here to the old town, and we had to change buses at Mirabellplatz as my Mother can't walk far (normally I'd walk into town from here but it would leave tired legs at the end of a day's exploring). Over the weekend the buses are less frequent but still reliable, so just check the times to ensure you're not waiting out in the cold too long. When the cake and cherry pastries ran out at breakfast, they were not replaced.

Good hotel for a family. We didn't stay particularly long b/c we had checked in really late and left before check-out time. But from what we experienced, the hotel was wonderful. The staff were super friendly. Check-in process was easy. Air conditioning worked well. Beds were very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer in Salzburg! We had a great stay at this hotel.

Nothing negative to say. We enjoyed our time at this hotel.

Our room was very spacious, bathroom comfortable and very clean rooms. Breakfast room was comfortable and cosy, very good choices of breakfast from hot to cold, bread, coffee station, yogurts and cereals, different types of ham and cheese. Staff was really nice and helpfull. The bar and big screen was the cherry on the cake as we could see the world cup game in the evening. Location is not quite central however only 10mins away from the hotel there is the main roads full of shopping centres and restaurants. Hotel is very quite.

Perfect location, just a few minutes walk from the old town. The room was clean and spacious. All staff were courteous,helpful, and a joy to deal with. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed when we visited but there were ample excellent and reasonable places to eat and drink nearby. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I can't think of any dislikes.

Service was a standout, really friendly staff. Room was spacious and bathroom had lots of bench space. Clean room. Although further away from the main attractions, everything was still very walkable.

Rooms and building had very old styling however everything was still well kept and neat. Pillows were pretty flat and uncomfortable even with 2 stacked on top of each other.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were good sized and beds very comfortable. It provides a kettle for tea/coffee making and fridge as well. It has a nice spa with sauna and infrared rooms.

The usage time for the wellness area including the spa starts at 9am which is a little but too late to fit in for a day out. It would be ideal if it’s available from 8am.

The location was in walking distance to the historic center of the Old town. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel had parking for which you had to pay extra but they let you stay longer after your check out if you ask.

The lobby was going through some remodeling and everything was covered in the evening so we weren't able to sit there in the evening.
